Hellooo!

It’s been a while since I’ve typed anything up. Life is good, but it could be better. 😝

My trip to NYC was amazing! I wish I would’ve stayed an extra day or two. Dealt with rain flying in and dealt with it again when I flied out. The best part of my trip was catching up with friends! But we also got to shop, eat, and navigate the subway. Lots of walking, but it was fun! Got to see a handful of tourist attractions. Stayed in Manhattan. Will have to venture out to the other boroughs in the future.

So I think I’m in for a blooming friendship. Part of me is like, “What am I doing?” The other part of me is like go for it! 😂 We shall see where this goes. I’m curious, but also a little terrified. Pray for me! LOL. NYC was the catalyst.✨

Giants aren’t very good atm. Dubs beat the Lakers in LA yesterday!!!

The last few days have taken me out, but I will take advantage of my day off today. Not sure if I can sleep in because I need to cook brunch and take care of other errands.

I think April AND May will be a lot of fun! Just go with the flow and then some. 😘

Le sighhh.

I’m typing this out with a heavy heart. As entertaining and fun sports can be, someone has to lose at the end of the day. Unfortunately, it was the Niners. 💔 We were in the same position four years ago. This was the “revenge” game. I can’t bring myself to rewatch the game. I was too stressed and anxious during my shift yesterday to fully process everything. Glad I’m off today to be gentle with myself. And hey, I have my birthday to look forward to, so that’s a plus.

Mom got me into football and so did my brother! I will stick with the Niners. Our time will come. Not sure when, but they will get #6. I hope it’s in my lifetime. Faithful forever.

Time to go back to sleep. Byeee!

Punched their ticket!

The Niners are back in the Super Bowl!!! 🥹 I followed the game as I worked. Dealt with a lot of emotions: annoyance, anxiety, nerves, excitement, and more!!

BROCK PURDY! Give him his flowers, please. He was amazing! Aiyuk is my dude and I knew he’d be a huge factor. Two weeks until the big game. GO NINERS!!! ❤️

It was a nice work weekend. One more day and then I get to rest up for a few. Not liking the rain that’s being forecasted. 😤 Enjoying all the sunshine and the sun setting at a later time.

Well, I’m tired. Highlight of my day: Saigon sandwiches. 😋 I’ll order again in two weeks!!! Exchanged pleasantries too. Haha.

More football!!!

Oh boy, this weekend was something. The Niners beat the Packers and now it’s back to the NFCCG! 😮‍💨 More football to be played. I’m anxious excited, but I always get this way. Woo!!!

Caught up with some college friends a few days ago. I hadn’t seen a lot of them since before the pandemic. I’ve known Kengar since I transferred to UC Davis in 2010. He went to the rival high school in the city, but it’s all good. He was so happy to see me since I dropped by after work. I was happy to see him too! It’s been 5+ years. He’s off to the Philippines. I’m so jelly because I need to work, LOL.

Just trying to relax atm. One more day of work and then I’m free! Birthday week for Mom too. Love her so much. 💗

I also have a lot of other things to tend to, but I’ll deal with it on Tuesday.

I’m “dating” again and I’m bored. No one is giving me anything to work with on Hinge. My goodness! Is it always gonna be this awkward?! 🙃 And this is just the talking phase. I’m like anxious already. WTH?!!

Happy 2024!

It’s a new year, but I’d like to reflect on 2023. Proud of myself for the highs, lows, and everything in between. My grief was very very heavy. I feel like I’m still processing the losses and adjusting to all of it. I can’t ever forget the love of my Lola Mila and Beari’s beautiful companionship. I felt the most unconditional love from them. It’s bittersweet to start fresh and they aren’t here. 😭

I’ll always share their stories and pictures. I miss having lunch with Lola. I miss being greeted by Beari when I get home from school or work. It’s truly all of the little things. Doing my best to be strong, but also gentle with myself on my most difficult days. I’m ready for the ride! I know 2024 will be a very important year. 💜

2023 was the year of concerts and music! Still cherishing those moments and memories.

I am tentatively the winner of my FF league, but waiting on official confirmation. I spent hours watching most of the games yesterday. That’s how my NYE went. Thankfully I had time to cook dinner for the fam. I’m pretty tired now. I’ll try to sleep, but I’m anxious. One more week of holiday break! Ready to tackle it all.

Happy Holidays 2023!

I hope you all had a lovely day celebrating with family and friends. Mine went okay, but I’m still dealing with a lot of grief.

Didn’t help that the Warriors and Niners lost! 👎

Still on break so that’s a plus.

Being very gentle with myself. I plan to sleep in tomorrow.

Hello holiday break!

Finals concluded for me on Sunday. Yay!!! I have a catering gig today and then I’m off for the next two weeks. I’m gonna be tackling some projects, hopefully catch up on sleep, and watch movies. 💗

This semester was very, very challenging! But I did it. Time to celebrate all of my hard work. And I hope it pays off.🤞

It’s been raining in the city and I’m not a fan. I know that we need it, but I’m already over it. Winter officially arrives this week and I’m just over here waiting for the spring. Haha.

Well, time to sleep. Work in a few hours. 🥴 I hope this gig will be fun and a learning experience.

To Bernadette.

Two years later and it safely got to me! I wrote to Jimmy Garoppolo in December 2021. His time was winding down with the Niners. 😞 I just wanted to share my appreciation for turning the franchise around.

I bought a few of his cards on Mercari. I heard that he usually responds so I’m like cool, let’s do this. Emailed the Niners and asked for their mailing address. Got a response and I was on my way. Dropped the cards off at my local USPS with tracking. I wanted to make sure it got to Levi’s Stadium safely! It did. Then the waiting game.

I finally got a response on Monday! I saw the informed delivery digest. Envelope was stamped Las Vegas. I knew!!! 🥹🥰 I’m very grateful that he took the time to respond. And the cherry on top was that he personalized it for me. Wasn’t expecting that at all. I just thought it was going to be his signature.

I’ll always root for Jimmy! Thank you so much. GO NINERS. ❤️

A year today.

Time has moved so quickly since we had to say goodbye. The house is still too quiet without you. We’re keeping your memory alive by sharing stories, pictures, and videos.

Five years with you was a short amount of time, but it was filled with so much love and laughter. I often say you were too beautiful for this world and it’s absolutely true.

Life update.

  • Got to see Queen + Adam Lambert for the first time ever at Chase Center on 11/8 with my sibs! It was amazing. Still riding high. Freddie!!!! Queen forever. 👑
  • Trying to survive the semester. Just a few more weeks and I’m done! This week is absolutely testing me. 😫
  • The holidays are here, but it’s making me emo. Beari’s one year is coming up. We miss her so much.
  • Got a few things from the baggu x sandy liang collab. Lots of items sold out quickly!!!
  • Hoping to catch a Dubs game soon. They are playing horrendously as of late. Klay has a terrible slump.
  • It’s been raining and I’m not a fan.
  • MLB sucks for voting on the Las Vegas move for the A’s. A loss for the Bay Area! DISLIKE.
  • I plan to catch up on homework and sleep next week. So glad to have time off!!!
