Day 94.

Now playing: 2 Become 1 – Spice Girls

I miss London so much! 🇬🇧 This time last year I was at Wembley with Mom and the sisters. Looking back, I’m very grateful we were able to make the trip to see The Spice Girls. It was a childhood dream come true. I almost didn’t go due to my portable oxygen concentrator fiasco, but I made it! 🙂 The night was nostalgic and it was perfect. I only wish Victoria/Posh Spice was there to complete the group. Maybe in the future? We’ll see. There are whispers that they’d like to tour again. If so, I’ll be there! ❤

Travel dreams are currently on hold due to the pandemic. Please be safe out there! This virus isn’t a hoax.

Anyway I have so many pictures from that trip that I still need to print out and archive. When my phone updated a few days ago, I freaked out a bit. I thought I lost it all. So many memories. Thankfully, my phone was just updating and it all turned up again.

I’ll be back for you, London! Still so many things to cross off the bucket list there. I need another week or two.

Travel memories.

I started traveling back in 2018. Canada was the first place I visited. They’re just up North, but it was a long time coming. We visited our relatives.

I’m so very grateful for my passport. I wish I would have traveled sooner, but I dealt with a lot of personal matters from 17 to 20. I’m now stronger mentally. But those were some very sad times. It’s all part of my story and I don’t ever stray from it. 💜

The world is such a different place right now. Please continue to do your part during this pandemic!

Here’s a picture of me at the Louvre Museum. Hello Mona Lisa! I was so excited to see her. Crowds everywhere, but I got close enough. I was part of a tour group with my family. Wonderful memory.

Alright. Time for bed. Later!

London 2019-2020.

I really miss London right now. I had so much fun! And we didn’t get to fully do everything on our list. I’d love to return in a few years time. Plenty of friends over there.

I miss the hustle and bustle of the city. I miss the snacks especially the crisps and chocolate. Bangers and mash too!

I miss traveling – domestic and international. I’ll continue to wait, but adventure is out there. I’ll take advantage of adventure any day. Once we all get through this pandemic, I won’t waste a day.

Time to sleep. I’ve been a night owl all week. That’s gotta change. And I have so many pics from this tour I haven’t been able to upload and share. Sit tight.

Peace and love.

#FBF: DECEMBER 30, 2017 – SF CHINATOWN.

Before the year ended, we went on a Chinatown adventure! I reconnected with my friend, Claudia. We met each other years ago at City College of San Francisco (CCSF). It’s been a while since we hung out. I also met a lot of awesome new people during this photowalk. There was Sam, Kristina, Alex, and Sarah.

Here are my photos from that day. 😀

Enjoy!

From the archive.

So many dog photos, but I love it! This was after work one day. I was super tired and cold. The living room is always eventful and this photo is an example of it. Laki loved being everywhere, especially the futon with endless blankets. What a dog! His personality doesn’t compare. So silly.

I miss him all the time. It’s approaching 9 months. So many happy memories. I will always cherish those.

I hope you all had a great Thursday! Where did the week go?

Sleep well.

Reminiscing yet again. I think it’s always the toughest during the holiday season. As we prepare for Christmas, we really wish our maternal grandparents were still around. Even for one day.

I can’t remember how old I am here. I think we’re 4 or 5. You can’t quite tell because it’s a bit blurry, but I think I just finished drinking soda or fruit juice. Bianca and I had super red lips. LOL. Maybe it was Hi-C? I really liked our matching haircuts. #twinning

I love my grandparents. They all raised me with so many values and important lessons. It sticks with me to this day. I hope I’ve made you proud.

Sweet dreams to all.

Here I am at Dolores Park. I was 22. I had to help my cousin out with a photo project for his class. It was pretty fun. I remember doing a bunch of silly poses & jumping! My fave. 🙂

I still have that All-Star Game jersey in my closet. Oh baseball, how I miss thee. Just waiting for spring. Come back soon!!!

I have so much to be thankful for this year, including the hardships. There’s a silver lining for everything, right? Hoping for the best. Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.

I stand in solidarity with the indigenous peoples of America.

Good night.

#TBT: Laki, 2014.

Today marks eight months since you went away. There isn’t a day when we don’t think of you! Laki (luh-key) was a very special dog. I loved to call him little brother, little man, and my shadow. He followed everyone, but he and I had a special connection. I was very overprotective of him, partly because he was quite small in stature. He was our first male dog. He loved taking naps and sitting on everyone’s laps while we did our homework.

His name came from the Tagalog word malaki which means big. But since he was small, the name fit perfectly. Our dad came up with his name. We had some trouble deciding, but what do you expect from teenagers. Indecisive! Lol.

I miss you every day, Laki. I hope you’re enjoying the great big sky. May there always be treats, lots of food, and comfy blankets around you.

I love you always.
