Day 2.

I give credit to the original artist for the movie poster. I was unable to find the name on myhotposters.com. I’m in the middle of the movie. I have about an hour remaining. I like it so far. I can resonate with the film. I miss the old SF. The familiarity and the wonders of it. It’s kinda lost its spark, but I will always love the city. No one can take away my memories and what I remember.

Good old Saturday. I slept in. I felt alright once I had to really get up. I decided to make myself some fried eggs, sliced up an avocado, and topped it off with the everything but the elote seasoning from Trader Joe’s. I really like it! Definitely a nice addition to eggs. Then I had strawberries as a small dessert. My favorite fruit!

I decided to wash some dishes too. Washing dishes is my favorite chore. I put my music on and I’m in the zone. It’s calming for me.

Had Taco Bell for linner. Nachos BellGrande is my classic order & a supreme taco. 👌🏼 Perfection.

I was on social media for a bit. It helps with connection during this time. I even got to chat with some friends via text.

My last thoughts for the night. I will continue to support small businesses! I admire their craftsmanship and the love they put into their work. Thank you!

Planning to finish up the movie. Hope you’ve all had a good day. 💜

Edit: The movie poster is by Akiko Stehrenberger. She can be found on Akikomatic.com. I found her work on IG. It’s a dope poster. 👍🏼

Day 1.

Today was originally an in service day for work. So until Sunday it’s like a regular weekend. But starting Monday 3/16 up until the 27th work will be closed. It could potentially be for longer, but I’m hoping and praying it isn’t.

I obviously don’t have control over the situation and the same can be said for others. I’m trying to remain positive during this turbulent time in our nation + the world. It’s definitely different from my routine.

I’m planning to work on myself, but at the top of my list is rest & recharging. I will also tackle driving. These next few days will be me time. I also fall into the immunocompromised demographic. I’ve always been good about washing my hands. Touching my face is a different story. I will miss social gatherings, but social distancing is absolutely critical. I plan to blog everyday that I’m off. That way I can remember and reflect.

Sunny has been keeping me busy. I love his films! I Fine..Thank You..Love You is the best. I can watch it forever honestly. 😊🥰

Wishing you all well. Please be safe! ❤️

Tea time!

Before February ended, my sister and I got to celebrate once more with friends. It was such a pleasant afternoon. We all got to catch up over a nice cup of tea. I love my Fujifilm instax camera. Side note: I’ve been buying a variety of film. 💗

It reminded me of London. I miss it! Hoping to return in a few years.

I still need to finish entries from my London tour. I’ve been balancing a bunch of things these last few weeks.

I hope everyone is doing well! 🙂 Will update some more soon.

Change is inevitable.

Ain’t it the truth? We’re all evolving.

Go after what you want. Nothing happens if we don’t take action. Whatever it is you’re after, just go for it.

I’m doing my best to elevate myself. It’s needed in all aspects of my life.

First goal on that list: driving. I’ve had my license since I was 21. I don’t drive often. I’ve also had my share of accidents so it’s built up a lot of anxiety for me. I’m determined to get behind the wheel again. I might sign up with a driving school to get me comfortable again. I want independence. 🙂

Just some thoughts in my head before bed. I took a nap so that explains why I’m still awake. And I also watched To All The Boys P.S. I Still Love You. I liked it, but nothing compares to the first film. 💕

Good night.

It’s almost here.

Super Bowl Sunday! Ahhhh. I’m nervous, anxious, and excited. It’s going to be a good one.

The city has been lit in red & gold. It’s so pretty! I want one more photo shoot with city hall. I’m ready! 😂❤️💛

I’m thankful to be home this time around. Our last SB appearance, I was in Davis for a youth conference. Shout out to PYC! 🇵🇭❤️

I get to relax for now. I love the weekend.

Good night.

GO NINERS! ❤️💛❤️💛

RIP Kobe.

It was an honor to watch you play the game. I’ll forever be inspired by your Mamba Mentality. RIP to him, Gianna, and to those who lost their lives today. 💜💛

Sports are such a great teacher. I think of everything they’ve taught me: camaraderie, humility, how to resolve differences.

Saturday, December 28, 2019.

We landed in London at about 10:30am. Getting off the plane took a while because we had to take shuttle busses to the terminal. We eventually got off at about 11ish. Scanned our passports at the e-gates. We had to use the bathrooms to freshen up + go to baggage claim.

Once all of that was done, we waited around for our driver to take us to the hotel. We didn’t realize we were an hour away, so we tried to take a nap in the car. London traffic is busy, just like any major city. We passed through Kensington and many notable places in London. It was cold. But we were excited!

We finally get to our destination. We met our tour director, Kay. She’s Scottish. Super friendly! We checked in with our tour packets in hand. Lil’s room was ready before ours was (we had to wait about 2 hours) so we accompanied her and hung out. We were watching a British cooking show on tv. Made me hungry.

Afterwards, we decided to go for a snack run. We needed water, soda, crisps, and chocolate. Pretty much junk food. Haha. We went to Tesco which was a short walk from the hotel. Tower Bridge was very close to us so we walked over.

At this point, I was ecstatic to just be in London again. I didn’t sleep much. We had a welcome meeting and dinner to meet our tour group in the evening.

Once we returned to the hotel, our room was finally ready! So juiced to be able to unpack and relax for a bit before meeting new folks. We get a knock at the door and it’s Laura! She hands us our customized scarves with our names on it. Very nice surprise. Here are a few shots from that day. I’ve got more to sort through. Stay tuned for my next entry. 🙂

More entries will be typed up.

I promise. It’s been a busy week for me. The rain today wasn’t helping, but we need it.

It’s almost the weekend. I can’t contain my excitement. I honestly just want to clean, do laundry, and sleep.

I’m also waiting for Spring. I do not do well in the Winter. It’s too cold for me.

Enough of my complaints. Lol. Hope you all had a nice Thursday!

Good night.
