Baby steps.

Proud of myself for putting forth some effort and challenging my thought patterns as of late. I’m capable! The only thing stopping me is me. I don’t want to jump to conclusions or anything like that, but I’m also trying to be rational about the situation.

It’s fun trying to get to know someone new. Maybe I’ll have some more opportunities these next few days. But until then, I’m going to chill out, take care of school work, and catch up on sports!

I’m just very curious right now, but let’s not get too excited. Be cool. 🤪😎

Covid-19 is back in the household. I hope it’s completely gone in a week! Oh my goodness. It’s so inconvenient. 😫 Patience. Tested myself and I’m negative.

Well, back to A Tourist’s Guide to Love.

Good night.

Freedom!

I was officially Covid free on March 4th! I was relieved. 🥰 Isolation taught me to enjoy the little things. I missed all types of cuisine. I’m eating and taking in every scent and flavor!!!

Dealing with some worries, but I just need to start. I’m lacking motivation. Still dealing with some fatigue from the virus.

Looking forward to a lot of new and great things! The weather is making me moody though. More rain in the SF Bay Area. Please make it stop! 😩

Baseball is almost back! I’m so excited. As for basketball, the Dubs aren’t doing so great. 😞

I had a long day and I just want to sleep. 😴 But I have a feeling this light rain will keep me up.

Good night.

Farewell February.

I had a lot of hope and excitement in the beginning of the month! But of course, life happens.

Still isolating from school, work, and the fam. I resume normal activities in a few days! I hope I’m Covid negative soon. I’m restless. Yearning to be independent again. I’ll never take doing my laundry, making my own food, and running my own errands for granted.

Not the best start for 36, but that’s okay. Patience! I’m almost there. I can feel it.

Now I need to read and type up a reflection. Still slaying even when I’m not 100%. Still missing Beari a lot. ❤️🐻❤️

Good night and Go Dubs!

36! 🥳

Officially 36. And I tested positive for Covid on my bday. 😫 After avoiding it for 3 years! I was so proud of that. SMH. Retested today and I’m still positive. Sense of smell and taste are almost 100% and no fever! Hurrah. It’s just the cough and fatigue left. Please leave my body.

Isolating is tough! When everyone else is around and you’re stuck in your room. Hopefully just a few more days of this! I miss my routine and independence. Please send good thoughts and prayers. I ordered delivery – Korean food and boba to cheer me up. 😋

Good night.

My escape.

Sports has always been my saving grace. It was nice to be back at the yard! The Giants did very well. They almost blew it in the end. Perfect day for Will Clark’s retirement number ceremony.

I did have to unmask for a bit while I ate. I’ll probably test myself in a few days. No one around us was masked. Big yikes!!! 😳

It’s been tough these last two weeks, but we’re still standing. I’ll remain hopeful and I’ll continue to pray. My faith guiding me through this very difficult time. Send some love to our darling dog, Bear. ❤️🐻❤️

I’m clean and I’m ready to just unwind before I sleep. Thankful I’m off tomorrow.

Go Giants!!!! 🖤🧡

Good night.

Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈💗

Wishing all of my dear family and friends a Happy Pride! You are loved always. Blessed to have y’all in my life and to stand proudly as an ally.

It’s been a weird work week. Trying to keep up before I’m off in a few days. 😮‍💨

I’m pretty tired. And unfortunately, Covid is in our household atm. It’s so inconvenient, but we gotta keep our distance!!! Still masking, washing my hands, and keeping away from crowds. But I can’t dodge crowds all the time. Just pls stay away!!!

Hoping to sleep soon. Wishing y’all a great week! 💜

Good night.

It’s brutal out here.

I decided to venture out and stop by the sour tour bus experience in front of Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Friday! 💜 I didn’t have a ticket to Olivia Rodrigo’s show, but I wanted to make a day of it. There were a lot of lines and waiting, but I got everything I wanted! Got my chance at the photo booth and bought a tour tee + socks.

Some things were already sold out like hoodies, sweatpants, and jean jackets. There were so many people! Kind of overwhelming, but I survived. The merch line wrapped around the corner. There was another barricade for those attending the show. People started showing up before 8am. Wristbands for that line were distributed on Thursday.

The weather was decent. It was sunny, but then it got gloomy & cold fast. Thankfully I wore enough layers!!!

I wish I took more selfies, but that’s okay. My sisters couldn’t make it out. Next time! Hopefully her next concert will be at an arena. Chase Center would be cool!

I ended up taking Muni to get home. I haven’t been on a train since March 2020. Ultimate throwback!!! I felt pretty safe. I won’t ride it often, but it’s an option for me. Saves money for sure!!

Olivia’s music is great! Can’t wait for her new stuff. The sour tour continues in Europe.✨

Alright time to sleep. Good night!

Update.

Hello! It’s been a few weeks and I come with an update.

I’ve attended a few events: Buster Posey Day at the yard, my first concert since 2019, and celebrated Mother’s Day with the fam. I also just signed papers to be a barista/cashier again! I hope it goes well.🤞

I had my interview for the mochi film I decided to help with and l was a mess. I probably should’ve prepared more beforehand and I was nervous! But Kristine was very patient with me. I hope I didn’t embarrass myself. 😬 I overthink a lot. Wahhh!

I need to finish my cert for my TEFL. I’ve put it off for so long. I’m almost there! I need to complete it before the end of June. I’m a little stressed since I start training for my new gig next week. Also nervous for that.

I saw Paul McCartney on Sunday! It was amazing. I’ve seen both living Beatles. George was my favorite. RIP to him and John. Truly missed! 🤍

Getting sleepy. My nap threw me off. And omg the Philippine election. Don’t even get me started! It’s upsetting to me as a Filipino American. I want real leadership to steer the country in the right direction. I want progress! I wasn’t born there, but I’m still very connected to the birthplace of my parents and ancestors. LABAN 🇵🇭💗

There’s a lot to do and I’m feeling overwhelmed sometimes. Taking it a day at a time! Wishing you all well. Until next time.

A busy 🐝!

Hello! It’s been a while. Just wanted to type up an update. 🙂 I hope everyone is doing well! The NBA playoffs have started, baseball is back (Go Giants! 🖤🧡), and spring is here!!! ☀️ Love it.

I attended the NCCBF! 🌸 Both weekends. First weekend was to visit our cousin and his partner. She’s running her own small biz! Good times. The second weekend we lined up early for teriburgers! Delicious. Wish we bought more. 😋 Also got to buy Japanese snacks, mochi, and some other goodies. Japantown is one of my fave spots in the city!

A few days ago – we returned to Davis. It was for Dr. Fujimoto’s memorial. So many beautiful stories and memories were shared. I miss college! I was inspired again just being back. I want to do more!!! Aggies 🐴💙💛 We bought all of our favorite food, caught up with familiar faces, and took some nice pics on campus. We bought some new UCD swag to wear and rep. We missed Picnic Day by 2 days! I ended up buying this year’s tee.

I’m in the middle of job hunting again. I’d like to have a summer job if I can find one. Looking for a stable position that also works with my own schedule + energy levels. Being a lupus patient can be a lot, but it’s important to listen to your body! Rest is essential. In my case, I always nap. 💜 Lupus Awareness Month is coming up. I love sharing facts and information!!

I’m playing a lot of Pocket Camp! It’s fun. Too many Animal Crossing games to choose from.

Lots of books on my reading list! I also have tv shows and movies I’ve been meaning to watch. Balance is so important right now! I’m also trying to exercise more. Time management. 😮‍💨

Wishing you all a great week! 💗

Good night.

So much deliciousness.

The fam and I have been exploring some new spots for SF eats. 😋 We found a new pizza place! It’s called Joyride and it’s amazing. I loved the pepperoni and the Bianca. The fig jam!! 🤩

I will most definitely be back. 😌 Pizza rules!!!

Spring Training is in full swing! So excited because baseball back. I’m also watching March Madness. So many upsets. Wild! There will be 2 games played at Chase Center. I wanted to go, but unfortunately it’s too expensive. 😞

It’s a new week and Pisces season is officially over. 😭 Here’s to next year!

I’m still listening to a lot of *NSync and my fave pop music from the nineties. I miss it! I’ve been very nostalgic.

Wishing you all a great week! Take care. 😷🧡

Good night.
