Much needed catch up sesh with my college friend, Diana. She’s in town and it’s been so long since we last saw each other! 🫶🏼

Good times and lots of words of encouragement. I’ll try my best! 😆 Just need to continue to be brave.

It was a very long, but productive day for me. Hoping to get plenty of rest. It’s going to be a long week, but I’m looking forward to what it may possibly bring.

I plan to watch the first epi of beef. Woo!

And the Giants beat LA! Shut those bums out. Byeee. 🖤🧡

Self care.

I was able to decompress these last few days! I’m reenergized for the rest of the week. I’ll most likely be working during the holiday and I actually don’t mind. I’m all caught up with my shows.

Caught up with our great friend, Walter for lunch today. It was nice to talk and update each other with our lives. We got to window shop too. I bought myself some new books, a Marge baggu that I’ve been eyeing, a purple pen, and an eraser. Reasonable purchases. I’m starting to save up again which is important!!! I’m looking into getting a second job. Sign of the times. 🙃 We’ll see how that goes.

Hoping to sleep soon. I’m snacking though! Chips, salami, and some fruit. 🙂

Giants are failing me. Womp. I miss basketball and football!!!

Thank you, Benkyodo!

After 115 years, Benkyodo says goodbye to San Francisco. 😭💔 Happy Retirement to the Okamura Family! Benkyodo was a frequent stop for me and my family. So many memories there! We already miss it. We ate the last of the mochi yesterday.

My sister and I decided to line up on their second to last day of business (3/30). I thought we were early, but nope. There was already a line when we got there at 6:30am. First person was there at 2am!!! We ended up not sleeping and just heading over asap. It was cold, but thankfully we had a chair with us and blankets. We didn’t get in until almost 12:15pm. We were allowed to preorder 10 pieces and come back 2 hours later! It was a day for us. I was getting sleepy.

While we waited we decided to do a bit of grocery shopping and looked for my friend’s birthday present. We made use of our time! I was able to pick up our order and then head home. I did bump into a filmmaker before leaving. Not sure if I still want to chat with her. Filming always makes me nervous. I’m so used to being behind the camera. 😁 We’ll see. I’ll think about it.

I was able to have lunch when we got back and then knocked out immediately. I napped for a few hours.

I’m really glad we decided to plan for our visit! I just wish I had one last strawberry mochi. 😢 They’re already dearly missed. I wonder what will occupy the space in the future. Hopefully it’ll be a nice addition for the community!

Just listen to the music of the traffic in the city.

Thank you, Petula Clark! Yesterday was a stroll down memory lane. Lots of errands and we ended up downtown. I was downtown a lot pre-Covid. I’m rarely in the area now. It’s different, but in a sense the same.

Blondie’s is back so we decided to buy pizza! We also went to Wetzel’s and KB tarts. 😋 Many eateries we used to go to are now gone such as Beard Papa’s, Loving Hut, and Häagen-Dazs. It was nice to be back! I think the soul of SF is returning. It’ll definitely take work, but it’s progress.

My bracket is officially done. Gonzaga let me down! 😩 But I had a feeling they wouldn’t do well. And I was right. So I finish 2nd this year. My women’s bracket is still going strong, so I might be able to pull out a win. It’s early, but there’s a chance!! Here’s hoping I do better in 2023.

Bridgerton is officially back! I’ll be watching an epi tonight. Yay!!!

Doing my best to take care of myself holistically. Happy to report that I’ve been walking more. It’s tiring, but absolutely necessary for my health. I’m also cleaning up my diet.

Opening Day is two weeks away!!! Can’t wait. I love baseball!! ⚾️

Well, time for Netflix. Woo!

So much deliciousness.

The fam and I have been exploring some new spots for SF eats. 😋 We found a new pizza place! It’s called Joyride and it’s amazing. I loved the pepperoni and the Bianca. The fig jam!! 🤩

I will most definitely be back. 😌 Pizza rules!!!

Spring Training is in full swing! So excited because baseball back. I’m also watching March Madness. So many upsets. Wild! There will be 2 games played at Chase Center. I wanted to go, but unfortunately it’s too expensive. 😞

It’s a new week and Pisces season is officially over. 😭 Here’s to next year!

I’m still listening to a lot of *NSync and my fave pop music from the nineties. I miss it! I’ve been very nostalgic.

Catching up.

Happy Sunday! I finally got to catch up with Susan and Mecqué today. We had breakfast at Kitchen Story. They’re so much fun. I met their doggos too. 🥰

Afterwards, they gave me a lift to Fort Mason for the Renegade Craft Fair. I bought a few things – earrings, a beanie, and stationery. I love it all!

I’ve been playing a lot of Animal Crossing! Logging in hours and cleaning up both islands. 😊 November is flying. Please slow down. I’m planning to get a lot done this week! Work, applying to jobs, and wrapping up my certificate. I really hope I find something I like.

Breakfast at Kitchen Story.

It was our first time there! We decided to get in early to avoid the crowds. Good call by all of us. We haven’t seen each other since February 2020! We were at K Elements for our early birthday dinner. Time flies! Grateful that we made time for each other. 🥰🍳🥓

Everything was delicious! The Millionaire Benedict 😋 A nice combo of sweet and savory. My goodness!!!

Then I took a nap once we got back. I’m still pretty tired now. I fell asleep pretty early too. The lupus life. I’ll be okay! Going to nap a bit more.

Happy Tuesday! It was a chill day for me. I studied before bed. Planning to do the same thing tonight.

Giants with the W in Anaheim! 🖤🧡 Saw the Padres beat LA too. Lol!

ACNH update: still no photo from Graham. He’s tough! Maybe later this week?! Leif was in town and I sold him some weeds. I also collected my star fragments. Might have to check and see if there’s more.

I’m being good about my Sanrio purchases. I’d love more items, but I’ll hold off at the moment.

I’ve been tired, but I gotta keep going! So many things are motivating me.

It’s Monday. Where did the weekend go?!

I spent the day sleeping in, working on hw, and playing ACNH. It was the usual on Mango.

I’m ready to tackle the next module for my class. Let’s do this!!!

Giants were off today. Watched the Padres beat LA!!!! 😎

My day was pretty mellow. Hoping to get a lot done this week. And it’s much cooler in the Bay Area now. I’m digging it.
