Day 247.

The holiday season is here! I’ve been playing Christmas music. We watched This Christmas and Elf. 🎄❤️ We plan on decorating next week. Going to take advantage of the holidays despite the pandemic! We miss family and friends, but it’s for the best.

I got to sleep in! Glorious. I didn’t get to do much today. I’ll be more productive tomorrow. Ordered dessert from Matcha Cafe Maiko! Still one of my fave places. I got the boba sundae and a hojicha latte. 😄

I took a nap after watching the movies. Woke up in time to eat Taco Bell for dinner. Always delicious, but must have it in moderation.

Planning to practice driving tomorrow. I must do it! I gotta get more comfortable behind the wheel. Practice makes progress. Yay! 💜

Animal Crossing update: I got to hang out with Bob. His house is fun. I cleaned up some flowers. Tidying up for the next update. I’m excited for all the Christmas stuff!

Day 242.

I had a case of the Mondays. I was cold and tired. It’s getting chilly in the city. I bundled up for work – beanie, scarf, and gloves. 🥶 Work was an adventure, but I’m always learning & growing. 👍🏼

I took care of everything on my to do list. My Covid test has been scheduled, ordered my meds, and dropped off a birthday card for Earl. Gotta deal with some other things later on this week. I hope it gets sorted out.

I wore my vanilla perfume today. It’s divine! Perfect for the season. I’m excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s been a trying year, but it’s nice to look forward to the little things such as hot chocolate, wrapping presents, and putting up decorations.

My driving lesson is tomorrow morning and I’m pumped! I hope I do well. It’s been a while. My instructor seems nice.

I had milk tea with boba earlier and I don’t think it’s the best idea. Lol! I feel pretty wired right now. I’m hoping I can sleep at a decent time. I gotta be up at 9am.

I strummed my uke for a bit. I’m going to learn some holiday songs to play for family and friends. 🙂

Animal Crossing update: I played this morning. I’ll play again in a bit to spend some time with Wart Jr. He’s moving out tomorrow.

Day 240.

HAPPY SATURDAY! We’ve got a President Elect and VP Elect!!! It was an amazing day!!! Congratulations to Joe and Kamala!! 😎🇺🇸💙 January 20, 2021 can’t come quickly enough. I’m excited for the transition. I cried happy tears. Progress!!! 🙏🏼

It was a pretty chill day. I took a nap a few hours after the news broke. But before that we had a delicious brunch from Just For You Cafe. I had a chorizo scramble with biscuits. Everything was delicious.

We watched the victory speeches at 5:30pm! LOVE.

Animal Crossing update: I played for a bit. Didn’t get around to playing some more since I’ve been tired. Hoping to play more tomorrow. 🙂

SNL was fun tonight. We watched the 9pm airing. Dave Chapelle!!! He’s great.

Day 234.

[Sunday, November 1, 2020]

Happy Sunday! I slept in. I ate a lot of candy.

Watched the Niners game. We didn’t do so well. 😬😭 We’re now 4-4. ❤️💛

Animal Crossing update: Mushrooms are now growing on Mango. I miss the Halloween festivities already, but I’m ready for Christmas & the holiday season! 🎄

It’s a new week! There’s a lot of anxiety and uncertainty. Election Day is almost here. Make sure to vote!!!

I also got to study for a bit and did a load of laundry. Weekend has been successful! Today is also the 10th anniversary of the 2010 World Series. Giants!!! 🖤🧡🖤🧡

Day 232.

TGIF! I’m so happy it’s the weekend. I can finally sleep in and catch up on things on my to do list. 🙂

Work went well. Played some more badminton and played a lot of Halloween tunes. It was a good day! I also had my 2nd Covid-19 test done. Results should arrive in a matter of days.

Boba was my treat of the day. Strawberry matcha latte! So good. I think it’s one of my fave drinks now. 😋

Halloween weekend will consist of candy, movies, and football! The time change is on Sunday. We gain an hour. Woo!

Animal Crossing update: Must tidy up and figure out my costume. Really excited for the Halloween festivities.

I’ve been watching a lot of Dateline and 20/20. It’s all interesting, but sad. I hope the families find peace and closure.

I’m calling it a night soon. Want an early start tomorrow.

Day 226.

Happy Saturday! 😎

What an epic Game 4 of the World Series! I really thought the Rays were goners. OMG! So exciting. So thrilling! 🙂👍🏼 Series tied!!! Go Rays!!!! 🌟

My day was okay. I went to sleep pretty early. I did sleep in for a bit. I didn’t get much done. The weekend always does this to me. Lol. I did my laundry. That’s a win! 😊

Animal Crossing update: Penelope is moving in! I found her on a random island. I went through a few until I decided to ask her. Yay! She’s great.

We had Korean food for linner. We also ordered cookies and cupcakes for dessert. I made two smoothies. I needed the fruits and veggies. Balance!

That was my Saturday! Now I’m watching the news for sports highlights and SNL in a bit. Take care!

Day 225.

TGIF!!! It’s been a long week for me, so I’m really glad it’s the weekend.

I got to sleep in for a bit. Then I had my appointment with my therapist. It was nice to chat and catch up. Afterwards, I was free the rest of the day.

Highlight of the day: Boba Guys! Our cousin is back in town and he usually makes the trip. He was kind enough to pick up our orders. I tried the strawberry matcha latte with boba for the first time. It’s delicious! I’ll definitely be ordering it again.

Animal Crossing update: Tex has packed up and is leaving tomorrow. I’m hoping to find a new villager soon. All the best, Tex! He only stayed on the island for about three weeks.

Game 3 of the World Series was meh. Whatever happens, happens. Giants fan forever! 🖤🧡🖤🧡

I’m in the middle of watching A Princess for Christmas. It’s a really nice holiday movie. I watched Charming Christmas in the afternoon. The cheese is great. 😂🎄

Day 198.

Happy Saturday! It’s been a sad day. I found out this morning that our uncle passed away suddenly. 😭💔 He was so kind. RIP Tito Rino. 🤍

A death always puts everything into perspective. It’s a wake up call! I need to do more with my time. I need to stop wasting the day. This year has been super tough for everyone, but I’d like to believe there’s a silver lining after all of this. There has to be.

I played my uke and dedicated Somewhere Over the Rainbow to my uncle. Fly high!! 🌈

The Giants are in control of their destiny. They were handed a loss. Not sure what tomorrow will bring. It’s win or go home. Go Giants! 🖤🧡

Animal Crossing update: The final Bug-Off event of the year happened today. I did pretty well for myself. I redeemed my points for a spider plate door decor. Perfect for the fall and Halloween!!

I finally got a workout in. This week has been heavy, but I’m slowly getting back on the horse. Work will be resuming shortly. There’s a lot to do before then. Just breathe.

We ordered Hahn’s Hibachi for lunch. Brings back so many memories! I got my usual, bbq chicken with rice. I’ll finish the last of it tomorrow.

Lastly, I wanna say Happy Birthday to my cousin, Ryan! 🥳🥰🎂

Day 196.

Happy Thursday! 💗 I’m feeling okay today. Up and down really. We got to chat for a bit via text. It’s not so scary anymore.

My treat for the day: Matcha Cafe Maiko. I ordered the vanilla-matcha swirl topped with boba! So delicious. 😋

Watched the Giants game. Hoping they would’ve won, but they blew it. 💔 Idk about the postseason. We’ll see.

Animal Crossing update: Celeste stopped by! I got a new DIY recipe from her. Libra scales. So cool. I bought a cacao plant too. My island is still a mess. I’ll fix it when I make time.

Watched the Nuggets game. That was frustrating. 😔 They’re down 3-1. Hoping for a win the next time they play.

I put on some eye makeup today. The eyeshadow I’ve been waiting for was finally delivered. 👁 Love it!!

Lastly, I watched Cinderella, the 2015 version before bed. I really liked it! 🤍

Day 155.

TGIF! So glad it’s the weekend. 🙂

It was so hot today. I think it hit 97 degrees in the city. I enjoy the rare hot day. It can just be overwhelming since a lot of older SF houses aren’t equipped with air conditioning.

I decided to get my walk in anyway despite the weather. All I need is 15-20 minutes.

We finally got my dresser in my room. It took a few days to build, but it looks great! I’ll be smart with how much to store. The drawers are too pretty. I’m planning to do more cleaning, organizing, and get a load of laundry done. So many moving pieces these next few weeks.

We had Shake Shack for dinner. So good! It’s definitely in my top 3. I didn’t get my usual so I went with the ShackBurger with cheese.

Animal Crossing update: I bought a new painting to add to my museum! And the last time I played today it was raining. I’ll play a bit before bed to do some maintenance.

I got some good news from my medical team. I just need to be super cautious and careful once we’re able to head back to work. I need eye protection. My glasses alone won’t be enough. I just want people to keep their distance and mask up. They also recommend surgical masks instead of a cloth one. I can definitely do that.

Giants lost a game they should’ve won. Yikes! I’ll always root for them. 🖤🧡 49ers: Kittle signed a 5 year extension. Wooooo! ❤️💛

Well, I’m pretty exhausted. I hope I can sleep well tonight. I might squeeze in a movie.
