Day 314.

Happy Wednesday and Happy Inauguration Day! I woke up in time to watch everything live. I’m a bit tired now, but it was worth it. We have hope again! It was a beautiful day. To President Biden and Madam Vice President Harris! Let’s get to work. 💙🇺🇸💙

  • Early mornings are great! I think I need to retrain myself to be a morning person again.
  • After the Inauguration coverage, I had to get ready for my echocardiogram appointment. It’s been a while. I had the same tech as last time, she’s really nice.
  • Took care of my labs too. It wasn’t busy. Yay!
  • I treated myself to a decaf vanilla latte and a birthday cake pop. 🥲
  • Once I got home, I ate brunch and got ready for work. I can’t find my contacts btw. I’ll have to look for them this weekend!!
  • Work was busy, but it was better compared to last week. I got this! 😎
  • Animal Crossing update: usual business on my island. Label was in town.
  • We had ham, rice, potatoes, and sweet potatoes for dinner. Everything was delish! Thankful that my family had the food ready when I got home. 🙏🏼
  • Gotta take care of bills this week. I’m thankful for my job especially during this pandemic!!
  • I passed my assignment! Progress!!! I can finally move on to the next module. 😄

That was my Wednesday. I hope y’all had a nice one! I’m looking forward to the future. We’ve got compassionate leaders at the helm again. It’s a new day in America!

Day 313.

Happy Tuesday! It’s Inauguration Eve. Exciting!!! I’m planning to get up to watch live coverage. 😊💙

  • It was really windy in the SF Bay Area last night and into most of today. I didn’t sleep well because of it. So much howling. Terrifying!
  • My day went well. One student on my roster and it was an early dismissal day. Yay! I hope tomorrow won’t be too challenging. I can do this!!
  • Found a mini library during my break. I picked up a new book! 🙂
  • I’ve got my echocardiogram tomorrow. I hope my heart is doing well. 💜 I also need to take care of labs. Busy Wednesday!!
  • Animal Crossing update: Redd was in town and he didn’t have any new paintings or statues. So disappointing. I’ll wait for his next visit. Turnip prices weren’t good enough for me to sell.
  • I wore my Curry jersey today. Still so proud of their win yesterday! 💙💛
  • Cadbury Easter goodies are now available. I’m taking advantage of it. It’s my fave! I bought some on the Walgreens app.
  • I’m focusing on my TEFL course again. I haven’t touched it since November. I hope to make more progress this month as well as February and March.
  • Thinking of my taxes already. Everything will be digital. I don’t have all my documents yet.

Day 241.

There was so much happiness yesterday with history being made! But today, I’m sad. Alex Trebek has passed. He was 80. I knew this day would eventually come. Just watched his special on ABC. He was a fixture at home. My fondest memories of Jeopardy was watching with my grandparents when I was a kid. RIP Alex. You’ll be missed. 💙

I went for a walk after lunch. It was chilly! It started to shower too. I was on the hunt for a newspaper, but was unsuccessful. That’s okay.

When I got back, I decided to take a nap. I had a random dream about a party at home. Some cute guy that I know in real life was in it. And then I woke up. Darn it! 😬😂 I was cold and tired. I was supposed to clean today, but I didn’t get around to it. I might tidy a bit before bed.

Driving lesson is on Tuesday! I’m pretty excited, but nervous. I also have to deal with a list of other things regarding my dental care. Ahh! How is the weekend already over? I’m hoping to have a good week.

Animal Crossing update: I time traveled to get my turnips. Woo! Wart, Jr. is moving out. Farewell!

Day 240.

HAPPY SATURDAY! We’ve got a President Elect and VP Elect!!! It was an amazing day!!! Congratulations to Joe and Kamala!! 😎🇺🇸💙 January 20, 2021 can’t come quickly enough. I’m excited for the transition. I cried happy tears. Progress!!! 🙏🏼

It was a pretty chill day. I took a nap a few hours after the news broke. But before that we had a delicious brunch from Just For You Cafe. I had a chorizo scramble with biscuits. Everything was delicious.

We watched the victory speeches at 5:30pm! LOVE.

Animal Crossing update: I played for a bit. Didn’t get around to playing some more since I’ve been tired. Hoping to play more tomorrow. 🙂

SNL was fun tonight. We watched the 9pm airing. Dave Chapelle!!! He’s great.
