It’s all too much.

This week has been a lot to process. 😭💔

I grew up during Columbine. I can recall having an open dialogue with classmates and teachers about it. That was 1999. It’s 2022 and gun laws haven’t changed. America is a dangerous place! Don’t come at me about fear mongering. I don’t want to hear it. There are too many guns and not enough laws. “What are we doing?” NOT ENOUGH. #GunControlNow

I remember fire and earthquake drills. Never had to deal with active shooter drills. I’m scared for this generation, but also hopeful. I believe that there is still so much good in the world!

My heart breaks for Uvalde, TX. I pray for the families and friends who lost a loved one. It could’ve been prevented. And reading the reports is a gut punch. I just don’t understand. It’s one shooting after another. I can’t. These events make me angry and helpless. I know I can vote, but I think it’s time for me to reach out to senators!!! Action >

Sports has been a nice escape, but even leagues are sounding off and asking for change!!! We need to do better. It’s now or never.

RIP angels. You’ll be missed. 🤍

Day 240.

HAPPY SATURDAY! We’ve got a President Elect and VP Elect!!! It was an amazing day!!! Congratulations to Joe and Kamala!! 😎🇺🇸💙 January 20, 2021 can’t come quickly enough. I’m excited for the transition. I cried happy tears. Progress!!! 🙏🏼

It was a pretty chill day. I took a nap a few hours after the news broke. But before that we had a delicious brunch from Just For You Cafe. I had a chorizo scramble with biscuits. Everything was delicious.

We watched the victory speeches at 5:30pm! LOVE.

Animal Crossing update: I played for a bit. Didn’t get around to playing some more since I’ve been tired. Hoping to play more tomorrow. 🙂

SNL was fun tonight. We watched the 9pm airing. Dave Chapelle!!! He’s great.

Day 238.

Happy Thursday! It’s almost the weekend. Can’t wait. 💕

Work was mellow. A lot of repetition with wearing masks and keep them on! I don’t get a mask break during work tbh. It’s harder for kids, but it’s a must.

I had dinner waiting for me when I got back. So good! Spaghetti and meatballs with white sauce & garlic bread.

I’m pretty tired today. Woke up at 10am. I got a decent night’s sleep. Played some Animal Crossing again before getting ready for the day.

Niners didn’t do so well tonight. Ouch. So many injuries! Still cheering for them. Always. ❤️💛

Might start Schitt’s Creek tonight. If not maybe tomorrow.

Still watching election results and keeping track of the count on social media especially Twitter! The anxiety and nerves. Must take deep breaths.

Day 237.

I woke up exhausted and anxious. Still hoping for the best. 💙

I stayed in bed and played Animal Crossing before I got ready for work. I’ve planted ivy starters. I can’t wait for the holiday season on Mango! Yay!!! 🎄

I played baseball and dodgeball at work. It was actually a lot of fun. I got tired, but it was worth it! It’s almost the weekend. I can’t wait so I can just chill. I’m adding more holiday movies on my to watch list. 😂

I think I’m going to have to stay away from Mexican cuisine. It’s so good, but it’s all I’ve had for the last few days. I also need to get away from Halloween candy and junk food. Terrible! I was stress eating yesterday. Trying to stay away from social media, but it’s hard. I want to stay fully informed.

My shower felt so nice. I’m clean!! I even removed my eye makeup. Win!!!

Planning to turn in early. I need the sleep. This is good night. Take care!

Day 236.

Happy Election Day! I voted and it was glorious. 😎 I hope y’all made it out to the polls too.

I had an early day. Played Animal Crossing before my appointment. My island is alright. I had my night guard impression redone in the morning. It should be a good one compared to the first.

The boys were rambunctious today. I guess it’s all the leftover Halloween candy. 🤣 It was a good and short day. I’ve been watching the election results since 5pm. I’m dealing with a lot of anxiety. Staying positive! 💙

This week is flying and I’m okay with that. I’m looking forward to my driving lesson next week. I can do this!! I’m so tired that I’m not sure what else to type up. I guess I can end it here.

Day 235.

[Monday, November 2, 2020]

Happy Monday! It’s been busy. I finally have time to type. I just finished filling out my ballot! I’m proud of myself. 😎 If you’re able, please VOTE!!!

Work went well. I stood my ground. Felt good to have order and regulation. Let’s see how it goes on Wednesday. It’s a short day for me tomorrow.

Election Day is exciting, but so much anxiety!!! I plan to drop off my ballot before work.

Animal Crossing update: Redd was in town. Yay, new art for the museum!! Mango needs to be revamped for the holidays. I’m ready.

We had Mexican food for dinner. I’m so stuffed. Nachos were amazing! I’ll try the quesadilla tomorrow. 😋

I’m so tired. I’ve got to swing by the dental clinic to redo my night guard impression. I’m ready!

Thinking of our dear ancestors. Please continue to guide us. ❤️✨

Day 228.

Happy Monday!

I’ve been feeling super tired. Not getting enough sleep last night could be a factor. I also dealt with the sun today and no cap. Photosensitivity is a pain! 😞 Btw maskne is real and I’m dealing with it. My skin is dry and irritated! I was able to shower after work and just lie down. Energy levels are low.

Work went well. Mondays are always tough. I had a 4-day weekend and that just came and went. Sighhh. The weekend will be here again soon enough.

I’m currently dealing with food coma. The nachos were legit. The churro was delicious and so was the tres leches slice of cake. 😍😋 I’m done for the night.

Animal Crossing update: Penelope is settled in and wandering the island. I’m still trying to figure out what I’ll be wearing for Halloween in the game. I’ve got a few more days to finalize. Should be fun!

America needs change. We are 8 days away from the election. VOTE!

Day 224.

It was a Happy Thursday for me! Hello!! 🙂

My day started at the dental clinic. I had three fillings to take care of and a new impression for my night guard. I’ve been clenching and grinding my teeth for almost a decade. Super important to have one fitted! I’m excited to get my new guard. Two weeks! Sitting in the chair was an adventure. They had a suction guard in my mouth. My jaw was tired by the end of it. Didn’t deal with a lot of pain. Super thankful for my dental student. A true professional! Thanks, M. 😄

Then before I even got in the chair, my boss sent me a text saying I didn’t need to come in since the only student on my roster was getting picked up early. Hurrah! Here’s to a lovely four day weekend. I’m going to take full advantage of it. I’m planning to clean, do my laundry, and study. I’ll also watch movies and the World Series. Go Rays!!!

It was a lovely afternoon at home. We had brunch and watched an episode of Unsolved Mysteries and Dark Tourist. Japan is still my dream vacation. I’ve been wanting to go since I was a kid. Must continue saving up and once this pandemic settles, I’m off!

I decided to nap since I got up really early. I woke up in time to tune in for the final presidential debate. Voting blue! If you have a moral compass, believe in equality, and justice for all – Vote Biden & Harris! America needs new leadership. People who can lead the way and will listen to Americans across the board. 2016 came and went. My fear was healthcare. Thankful to be in California where I’m taken care of for my preexisting conditions. What about my fellow Americans in other states?! It’s a terrifying thought. People losing their insurance in the middle of a pandemic. The monstrosity! People are voting early. I’ll be filling out my ballot this weekend. CHANGE!

Animal Crossing update: Tex is moving out. C.J. is on Mango buying our fish. Hurrah!

I’m planning to watch a holiday movie before bed. Halloween is practically here, but I love the holiday season!! The music does it for me. So great! 🎄

Day 209.

It’s Wednesday! We’ve made it to the middle of the week. 💗

Today was our Tito Rino’s funeral. I wish I could’ve been there, but it’s still too risky. I said a prayer for him. He’s truly missed. 🤍 Family over everything. It’s important to keep in touch with everyone on the regular especially during the pandemic and once life normalizes again.

I had to get up early to watch the dogs. They’re such a handful. Rascals! I had coffee and snacks to keep me going for a few hours. I played Animal Crossing to pass the time. Tex is moving in. Kinda wish I would’ve found my own villager, but that’s fine. I know for next time to seek a new one out ASAP.

I was able to clean, apply Vaseline, and put a new bandage on my skin – the one near my eye and the one near my armpit. Must take care of it daily.

Did a load of laundry after my shower. I was so productive today! Planning to clean tomorrow.

Caught part of the VP debate. I didn’t watch all of it. Progress needs to be made again in our country. Protect womyn and their rights! Protect those with underlying conditions! Let’s have a conversation about racial & social justice, climate change, global warming, and the importance of science. We need strong leaders! BIDEN HARRIS 2020! 💙

Watched Postseason baseball. Disappointed that the Padres didn’t tie the series versus LA. 😒 They gotta win the next one to stay afloat in the series. I hope they do. BEAT LA!!!! 🖤🧡

Still dealing with anxiety and being sad. I’ll make it! I know I will. My feelings are valid. Suppressing them won’t help me. Acceptance. Still staying away from a certain dating app. Once I’m brave again – I’ll return.

Day 205.

Happy Saturday! We’re a month away from Election Day!! Please vote. 🇺🇸

I stayed up watching Emily in Paris. I’m obsessed!! Reminds me so much of Sex and the City. I miss Paris! I love hearing the music throughout the show and the cast is great. Gabriel 😍😘🥰

I took a quick nap and then I preordered a new lipstick from Lisa Eldridge’s collection. It’s called blush and it’s so pretty. I tried on the velvet jazz color. Such a nice red! I’m in love. The texture is smooth and comfortable to wear. I don’t know how she does it. I approve!

Animal Crossing update: My pumpkins are still growing. Hoping to get more DIY recipes from my villagers. I love Halloween! So much black and orange. It’s great.

I napped this afternoon. It was a nice three hours. Naps are my fave. 😴

I’m supposed to practice driving tomorrow. Let’s see if I can get up. I get so lazy on Sunday, but this is important. My anxiety is real at the moment. Haven’t driven in a while.

Might finish Emily in Paris tonight. I’ve got three episodes left. I’m so good at binge watching!!
