Day 383.

Happy Tuesday!! 💜 I had my final round of iron. I’m feeling much better. I just need to normalize my sleeping schedule. Rest is important!!

  • I had an early morning and it was a struggle to get up. Faucet wasn’t working last night, but it was fixed this afternoon.
  • Work went well. It was a busy today, but we got through it! Earl was kind enough to buy us some boba and tea drinks. It was a warm one in the city. Same conditions tomorrow.
  • Animal Crossing update: Invited Toby to Mango for the 2nd time. Here’s hoping he takes the invite to live there! 😊 I love the Sanrio furniture and goodies. So great.
  • Pizza for dinner. Yes!
  • Attended our granduncle’s rosary via Zoom. I plan to look through family pics this weekend since I have the time. 🥰 I miss our loved ones who have passed. Ancestors, please guide us!!
  • Watched UCLA vs. Michigan. Go Bruins!!!! To the Final Four. 💙💛
  • Secured my Telfar bags. I’m okay with waiting for a few months to get them. 🖤💚👜
  • I’m ready to sleep. 😴

Day 374.

My bracket is pretty much done. It’ll take a miracle to even get 1st or 2nd. 🙃 That’s why it’s not a very happy Sunday for me.

  • Highlight of the day: Visiting our Lola! I’m really glad we got to see her. She’s the best!!! We kept our distance, but we were able to chat via video. 💗
  • I was pretty productive today: more laundry, shower, and studying! Yay for progress!!! I have an early morning, but I’ll try to study a bit more.
  • I practiced my uke! It’s been a long time. I was strumming to Have You Ever Seen The Rain. 😄
  • Animal Crossing update: I really want the Sanrio x ACNH amiibo card pack, but not sure if I can even get it this Friday. I’d have to get up early to just make the purchase and then pick up in person. I can already feel the mayhem!!! Bought my turnips and did maintenance.
  • Sanrio is the best! I still collect to this day. 🥰
  • I decided to order one last boba drink before I stay away for a while. I gotta keep myself in check!!
  • I’m now watching Sex and the City with the fam. So good! S4E1 🙂
  • I’ve been able to catch up with family and friends!! It’s the best.
  • One week from now, I’ll have my second dose of the Covid vaccine! 🥲

Day 369.

This day always makes me sad. Four years ago, our childhood pet crossed the rainbow bridge. It’s hard to believe he’s been gone for that long. Love you so much, Laki! 💛 We ordered Mexican food to honor him.

  • Still no callback from the clinic. I’m struggling daily without my iron! 😞😩 Here’s hoping I get in touch with someone tomorrow. Absolutely ridiculous at this point.
  • Good news – I was able to schedule a vaccine appt for my sister! There was a lot of waiting around. It was nice to finally secure a date and time. Yay!!!
  • I’m really just trying to make it through the week. It’s been tough.
  • Highlight of my day: catching up with family and talking to our Lola! ❤️
  • Animal Crossing update: I’d like to sell my turnips. Haven’t been able to do that. It’s been mellow on Mango. Sanrio update is coming up!! I hope I can secure Amiibo cards come 3/26!!!
  • I should study tonight. I’m going to cover the new material for section 2. I got this!

Day 367.

Happy Sunday! I can’t believe my long weekend came and went. 😢 But the good news is, I’ve got a short week again. Yay!

  • The time change threw me off. It’ll probably take me a week to adjust.
  • We watched Cinderella before bed last night.
  • I slept in for a bit. That was nice!
  • Happy Pi Day and Happy Birthday to Steph Curry!! 🥳🎂🍿
  • I was able to work on my online class for an hour. I might start the new section tonight. I haven’t had much energy. I’m hoping someone contacts me tomorrow to setup my iron infusion appointments. I’ve been struggling.
  • We watched The Grammys! So much fun. It was a nice ceremony. Congrats to all the winners!!!
  • Decided to buy some Japanese snacks for the show. 🍙🍡🥤
  • I might have to exercise tonight. 🙃
  • I didn’t get to clean. I can tidy up a bit tonight too.
  • Animal Crossing update: stayed up to buy my turnips! Sent diy recipes to the BFFs via mail. Mango is doing alright.
  • The highlight of my day was video chatting with family. We got to catch up and see Mama/Lola! She was making jokes about food. Miss her so! Get well soon, Lola!!! 💗

Day 365.

TGIF!!! 😁 It’s been a year since the world changed for me. It was my last day of work, I squeezed in one last happy hour with coworkers, and those 2 weeks off turned into months. So much progress has been made! Very hopeful and grateful. 🙏🏼

  • It was an early morning for me. I had to move the car back to our block. All went well except this one car. I don’t think he signaled and I stepped on the brakes as a just in case. I hate when people don’t signal! 😒
  • Lola is doing well. We’re still praying for her recovery! Love you lots, Lola.
  • Ordered in for lunch and dinner – chicken and pizza. 😋
  • Lots of wine tonight! We watched Freaky Friday. Now we’re watching The Princess Diaries. We watched an episode of The Simpsons too, The Springfield Files. Also watched some of The Powerpuff Girls.
  • I had to nap today. I woke up early so my body was feeling it.
  • Animal Crossing update: I took care of a lot on my island. Finally cleaning up the flowers which is nice. ☺️💐
  • Super frustrated with trying to schedule my iron infusions. I left a message, contacted the nurse, and still without an appointment. Hopefully someone calls me on Monday. I really need the iron!!
  • Looking forward to resting some more this weekend, but I’ve gotta study too!
  • And little sister passed her cert. So proud of her!!! 🥳🥲

Day 361.

Happy International Womxn’s Day! Sending love and hugs to all the boss ladies in my life. I miss you all and I hope everyone is staying safe. 💪🏼💗

  • I’ve been so emo. I’m worrying about our Lola (grandma). She’s up there in age and she’s dealing with health stuff atm. I don’t want to face this right now. It hurts. 😢
  • I got through the work day. Everything on my mind made it harder to focus. I’m doing my best. Gotta take it a day at a time.
  • Animal Crossing update: Baabara is moving out. Farewell! I sold some turnips. I’ll look for a new villager tomorrow.
  • It’s a short week for me! Planning to take advantage of my time off. 💕 Lord knows I need it!!
  • Quick trip to Walgreens to get my prescriptions and Easter candy!! 🥰
  • I ordered more snacks once I got back home. I had a code which was really nice. I wanted ice cream.
  • Planning to sleep soon. We’ve got an early day tomorrow!
  • Lastly, I finished my sleep study this morning. Wearing that watch for a week was pretty challenging since I wore my Apple Watch on my right wrist. I hope it’ll give me some answers about my sleeping patterns and habits.

Day 354.

Happy Monday! It’s been one of those days, but I got through it. 💕

  • Still very fatigued. I’m waiting for my iron! I hope it’s soon.
  • My Covid vaccination is tomorrow night! I’m a little nervous and anxious, but I got this. 💜
  • Work went well. 👍🏼
  • Chinese food for dinner. Perfect! I had amazing soup, sautéed spinach, broccoli beef, great apps, and rice.
  • I’m part of a sleep study for a week, so I’m hoping it goes well.
  • We got to see our BFF, Jamie! She dropped off some bday goodies and exchanged gifts. We all love our presents.
  • Little Mix has been the soundtrack of my day!! I also heard Selena Quintanilla on the radio. RIP 👑
  • Animal Crossing update: Mario items have arrived! I’ve gotta order stuff tonight. Can’t wait to decorate my island. 😄
  • We’ve been browsing movies and watching random scenes from our faves: Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, Selena, and a few episodes of Chewing Gum. So fun rewatching!!

Day 348.

Happy Tuesday! It’s been an emo type of day – at least the end of it. People just running their mouths today. 😒

  • I had an early morning – a spleen ultrasound, took care of my labs, and ordered my meds.
  • Treated myself to Starbucks – tall decaf vanilla latte, birthday cake pop, and a slice of red velvet loaf cake. I was called Vern. People can’t hear me when I wear my mask. 😂
  • I got home and then I ate my lunch fairly quickly and got ready for work.
  • It was a short day for me. Grateful!
  • Trying to find an appointment for the Covid vaccine. Everything is booked at the moment! I hope I find a slot in March. Fingers crossed.
  • Had another Popeye’s chicken sandwich. No one wanted it so I took it.
  • Watched some of Teen Witch and now watching Adventures in Babysitting.
  • Animal Crossing update: Helped the twin out with her inventory. My island is doing okay. I’m trying to figure out what else I need. A quaint spot would be nice. Flowers are still driving me mad!!
  • It’s been a heavy day. Memorial services were held for our uncle. Unfortunately, I’m unable to attend because of Covid. RIP Tito Timmy. 🤍

I’m pretty spent. I need a nice shower, read my book, and sleep. Take care!!

Day 331.

I’m relieved! I tested negative. 🥰🙏🏼 I’ve been pretty stressed since Thursday night. I can breathe again.

  • I’m enjoying my weekend! Mellowing out is the best. Looking forward to being at work again before break!
  • I’m still keeping my distance as a just in case.
  • I’ve been under the weather because it’s that time of month. Cramps 🥵😩
  • Animal Crossing update: I did my usual maintenance.
  • I’m heavily invested in Cobra Kai at the moment.
  • I watched Ramona and Beezus + Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! I forgot how good it was. So cheesy, but I love romcoms. 💗
  • I’ve been in touch with family and friends all weekend.
  • Super Bowl Sunday is upon us. Go Bucs!
  • I want to send out Vday cards! I think it’d be cute.

Day 319.

Happy Monday! I had a case of the Mondays, but I made it!!

  • Happy Birthday, Mom! Her first quarantine birthday. Love you. 💗
  • Work went well. It was just really cold and windy! It’ll be raining for most of the day tomorrow. Trying to brace myself for that.
  • Gave the boss and my coworker a bag of my favorite sweet and spicy almonds. It’s the best!!!
  • Watched the Warriors game. W!!! They played really well. 💙💛
  • I’ve got a video visit tomorrow morning. I’m hoping to sleep soon. I’m very anxious.
  • I took a bunch of pics for Mom. Took advantage of my new memory card. 😄
  • Animal Crossing update: Jeremiah is moving out. 😞 I’ll have to look for a new villager! I’m also excited for the Colourpop AC collection dropping on 1/28, 10am! I’m sure it’ll sell out fast. I’ll be ready.
  • I’ve been feeling emo. Just grieving the loss of friendships. You deal with it and you move on. I wish them all well!
  • Grateful for Tuesdays. I get to go home early tomorrow. Bless!!!
  • I’m going to get ready for bed. I hope for a good night’s sleep.
