Sick.

I returned from Boston on Monday. I started to lose my voice that night. I was on vocal rest for a few days. Returned to work on Thursday and doing my best to get healthy! I tested myself for Covid and it came back negative. Doing another PCR test later.

I’m still coughing which sucks. Tea and throat drops are helping. I just want my normal voice back!

I’ve been quite tired too and I need to catch up on school work. Still going through vacation pics and trying to figure out which ones to share. It takes me forever.

Had a good therapy session! Cut it short because of my throat. I hope I’m in the clear in about a week.

Day 210.

Whoa, it’s Thursday!

I stayed up watching Beauty and the Beast before bed. It’s one of our faves! And then we watched the Jump5 music video. They dance and sing so well!! We also watched Office Space in the afternoon. I forgot how funny that movie was. So good.

Animal Crossing update: Tex has moved in! Currently unboxing his belongings. My island is doing alright. Still decorating for Halloween. 🖤🧡

I signed up for the Pinayista Summit for this weekend. I need connection, healing, hope, and reflection. It’s been a tough year, but I believe I’ll be stronger because of 2020. Sending love to everyone! 🥰

Haircut is set for next week. COVID-19 test is on Tuesday. Back to work next Friday! Whoa. Time flies.

Had to take a nap this afternoon. I’m feeling okay now.

Postseason baseball is disappointing me. Lol. I miss the Giants! The A’s are gone. No more Bay Area representation. 😞

Glad it’s Friday tomorrow. I need to recharge and figure things out for myself.

Day 209.

It’s Wednesday! We’ve made it to the middle of the week. 💗

Today was our Tito Rino’s funeral. I wish I could’ve been there, but it’s still too risky. I said a prayer for him. He’s truly missed. 🤍 Family over everything. It’s important to keep in touch with everyone on the regular especially during the pandemic and once life normalizes again.

I had to get up early to watch the dogs. They’re such a handful. Rascals! I had coffee and snacks to keep me going for a few hours. I played Animal Crossing to pass the time. Tex is moving in. Kinda wish I would’ve found my own villager, but that’s fine. I know for next time to seek a new one out ASAP.

I was able to clean, apply Vaseline, and put a new bandage on my skin – the one near my eye and the one near my armpit. Must take care of it daily.

Did a load of laundry after my shower. I was so productive today! Planning to clean tomorrow.

Caught part of the VP debate. I didn’t watch all of it. Progress needs to be made again in our country. Protect womyn and their rights! Protect those with underlying conditions! Let’s have a conversation about racial & social justice, climate change, global warming, and the importance of science. We need strong leaders! BIDEN HARRIS 2020! 💙

Watched Postseason baseball. Disappointed that the Padres didn’t tie the series versus LA. 😒 They gotta win the next one to stay afloat in the series. I hope they do. BEAT LA!!!! 🖤🧡

Still dealing with anxiety and being sad. I’ll make it! I know I will. My feelings are valid. Suppressing them won’t help me. Acceptance. Still staying away from a certain dating app. Once I’m brave again – I’ll return.

MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: October 29-November 4, 2017.

October came and went. Baseball is officially gone. WHY?! 😦 The weather is definitely cooler – bust out your scarves, beanies, gloves, and layer up!! Spent time with family, friends, and staying in for Halloween. I was sucked in by the World Series, but really who can blame me?! 😛

On another note, the Giants are rebuilding. There are rumors about Stanton. We’ll see. Definitely need new talent for pitching, relief, and our offense. Coaches have been reassigned. The Giants are making moves. I’m looking forward to the 2018 season. Black and orange forever. 😎❤️ #sfgiants

October baseball. 

The MLB season is winding down. It’s pretty bittersweet. But wow, what a game 2! It was thrilling, exciting, and a showcase of power. I was getting a little nervous during extra innings. I really couldn’t sit still. 

I’m so happy for George Springer! He was due for a big hit and boy did he deliver. I’m looking forward to the games in Houston. It should be a lot of fun.
