Day 288.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone! I hope it’s been a wonderful day. I stayed up playing Animal Crossing again and it was worth it. I finally completed the festive DIY set. Woo!!! The big festive tree was the last one that I needed. Before bed I also rewatched Dash & Lily. I also watched While You Were Sleeping with Mom. Btw, that’s me and the twin up there when we were in preschool.

I helped with cooking Christmas dinner. I made deviled eggs. It’s been a unique celebration, but I’m thankful to be at home with family. We were able to chat with our relatives too! I got to text with friends as well.

I’ve played a lot of Animal Crossing as the day progressed. Currently watching the last of the NBA games. Leonard was injured just now. Lots of blood! 😱 I hope he’ll be okay.

Just had some eggnog and I’m ready to open presents. We’re about to play Christmas Jeopardy! It’s fun.

Day 286.

Happy Wednesday! I didn’t do much today. I finished sending out the rest of my holiday cards. That was a relief. I still have a few more presents to wrap up. I’m planning to clean up a bit before Friday! I can’t believe that Christmas is almost here.

We were able to grocery shop today. Yay! I stay home for all of that, but I help by unloading and putting things away. I really miss pre-COVID times. I know the world won’t be the same after all of this. 😭 I’m just thankful for food. ❤️

Anyway, I got to practice playing Last Christmas on my uke. It’s a lot of fun! I love learning new songs. I’ll probably learn some other Christmas songs too.

Animal Crossing update: it’s been something trying to get these festive DIYs. I only have 4 in total! I’ve stayed up just trying to get all of them. Here’s hoping I find another one tonight. 🥴🙃

I really want to watch The Bee Gees documentary. Maybe tonight? Or another holiday movie? I don’t know.

Planning to catch up with friends in the next few days. Can’t wait! Oh yeah, my highlight of the day: getting my Pat McGrath lipstick in the mail. Woo! Love the color.

Day 284.

Happy Monday! Here’s to the first week of holiday break. It’s going well so far.

I stayed up playing Animal Crossing. What’s new?! The gamble wasn’t the greatest. I found one holiday DIY recipe. I found another a few hours ago. The spawn rate isn’t very high. What’s worked for me: play a little, save my progress, recharge, and start again. A balloon present usually shows up fairly quickly.

The rest of my Monday consisted of writing holiday cards (I’m nowhere near done!), ordered my meds, and then got ready for my PFTs. I hope my results are good. I got a little lightheaded breathing in and out completely. After I finished, I treated myself to a decaf white chocolate mocha and a birthday cake pop. It’s the little things! 🥰 I also got to look at the GGB from afar.

Ordered some of our fave comfort foods. 2020 is winding down and I’m really hopeful for 2021! I’m currently listening to *NSync’s Christmas album. We’re planning on watching Bohemian Rhapsody before bed tonight. I also need to wrap some presents and send them on their way. Excited to wrap my family’s gifts too. The tree is still a little bare. 😬 And some packages will be arriving after Christmas. That’s expected.

The highlight of my day: my brwngrlz earrings arrived today! I’m totally going to rock them. Woo! 🌞

It’s going to be very busy these next few days, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m looking forward to cleaning, donating, and possibly posting some items online. That all depends on how productive I want to be. Lol!

Day 281.

My first day of Christmas break was wonderful. I was able to sleep in for a bit, but had to get up for my COVID test at the drive-thru site. Got my results a few hours ago: negative! 😄

Bought boba for the fam as a treat and we ordered lunch at one of our favorite restaurants. Yay!

Animal Crossing update: Made my first Snowboy and decided to move the tailors shop. Yay! Lots of changes on my island.

Afterwards, I watched Muriel’s Wedding with Mom. She loved the movie! It’s so funny and I love the cast. I’ve only seen it twice. I’ll have to watch it again very soon. I’m planning on watching more movies during break.

Got some goodies in the mail. Must write my Xmas cards and send them out soon. The latest will probably be Monday or Tuesday.

Currently watching The Life and Death of Princess Diana. I was fortunate enough to visit Kensington Palace last year. It was beautiful! Still one of the world’s greatest tragedies. RIP Princess Diana. 🤍

Day 275.

I love Saturdays!!! I got to sleep in and it was amazing. I woke up in time to greet the postman and retrieve our packages. Our Stoggles are finally here!!! I can’t wait to rock them on Monday. 😎🥽 Super cute and fashionable.

Rewatched Meet John Doe. Old movies are awesome! Before that I placed a delivery order for See’s. Christmas goodies for family, friends, and colleagues!! I love their chocolate. Their offerings are limited. I miss my faves – scotchmallow and scotch kisses. So good!

I took a nap afterwards. I needed to rest up before my community event at 5pm. It was a film screening of Hinga by Sammay and a community celebration followed after the Q&A from the cast. I’m so glad I made time to attend. I love supporting my FilAm community. ❤️

I spent about two hours editing pictures for my BFF. Her mom needs a 2×2 photo for work. It’s been a while since I edited. I kinda had to reteach myself. I’m currently using Affinity. I’ll get the hang of it again.

Just played some Animal Crossing and caught the last of Jeopardy. I gave away the last of my turnips to Penelope. My island is doing okay. I need to revamp some areas. Need to pay off my log staircase!!! I want it ready for Christmas.

Well, that was my day! Oh yeah, I drank some moscato and took half a shot for my Lola. It’s her birthday tomorrow as well as my cousin, Jekah. I miss our extended family! I can’t believe it’s been a year since we gathered for a huge celebration for Lola. Take me back to 2019!

Lastly, Happy Birthday to my friend, Romina!! I miss our college days. 💙💛

Day 256.

Happy Monday! 😁 I got to sleep in and take it easy. I’ll pretty much be doing the same thing every day. Yay!!! I just started watching The Queen’s Gambit. It’s really good so far.

Highlight of my day: Catching up with our BFF via Zoom. We miss our dinners and hang outs! Maybe next year? 💞

I took a nap before our chat. I overslept a bit, but it worked out.

I just finished watching 17 Again. We’re now watching Center Stage. One of our faves!!! I love the cast, the music, and the dancing.

I also saw Nelly on Dancing with the Stars! He performed his hits. My crush in 7th grade!! 😍🥰

Animal Crossing update: I’m excited for Franklin’s visit! Can’t wait. Goose had me look for some treasure and I didn’t succeed. Lol.

Day 247.

The holiday season is here! I’ve been playing Christmas music. We watched This Christmas and Elf. 🎄❤️ We plan on decorating next week. Going to take advantage of the holidays despite the pandemic! We miss family and friends, but it’s for the best.

I got to sleep in! Glorious. I didn’t get to do much today. I’ll be more productive tomorrow. Ordered dessert from Matcha Cafe Maiko! Still one of my fave places. I got the boba sundae and a hojicha latte. 😄

I took a nap after watching the movies. Woke up in time to eat Taco Bell for dinner. Always delicious, but must have it in moderation.

Planning to practice driving tomorrow. I must do it! I gotta get more comfortable behind the wheel. Practice makes progress. Yay! 💜

Animal Crossing update: I got to hang out with Bob. His house is fun. I cleaned up some flowers. Tidying up for the next update. I’m excited for all the Christmas stuff!

Day 239.

TGIF! I was waiting for rain and it never came. I wore my Docs for nothing. I’m still resting my feet.

Work went well. We had a different schedule due to a school event upstairs. The good news was I didn’t have to keep going up and down the hill. 👍🏼 I bought some snacks during my break. I need the comfort food right now. We are waiting for the final election results, but states are still counting. 🙃 I’m hopeful. 💙

Animal Crossing update: My island is doing fine. Flick is in town. I should probably try to sell him some bugs before bed.

I’m looking forward to the weekend! I plan to sleep in, fold my laundry, and organize my desk. 💕 I already watched a holiday movie on my to watch list – Operation Christmas Drop. It was pretty good.

Day 233.

Happy Halloween! 🖤🧡🎃👻 It’s different this year, but that’s okay. We created our own fun! We watched Casper, #Alive, and we’re about to put on Halloweentown 2.

It was nice to be able to sleep in. I stayed up the night before.

I washed dishes. I didn’t do much else.

Animal Crossing update: Jack the Czar is in town! I got candy from my villagers and gave Jack his lollipops. I believe I got every DIY recipe and special holiday items. But after tomorrow – I wanna decorate for Christmas! In the game and in real life.

I’ve snacked on so much candy and junk. I’m so full. 😬😂🙃

We watched the live broadcast of SNL too. It was a great episode! 👍🏼

Day 230.

I’m pretty tired today. I played badminton, basketball, and football at work. I’ve gotta work on my spiral! I forgot how fun badminton was. 🙂

I’m dealing with a lot of other stuff at the moment. I’m looking forward to the weekend – candy, junk food, Halloween, and the time change. Spooky! 👻

Animal Crossing update: Redd’s in town. Bought a painting to display at home. Woo! Finalizing my Halloween costume. I might just be a bunny or something.

I’ll just be focusing on football at the moment. Really glad that baseball is over and done with. Hopefully the Giants sign some key players. Rebuilding mode is tough, but I’m sticking with them! 🖤🧡

Just finished watching Holidate. I enjoyed it! Wish we could go back to the days of going to the mall, hanging out, going on dates, and without a mask. Sigh. 😢 Continue doing your part, please! Cases are rising again. It’s really disheartening.

Two more days of work. Friday should be interesting! 🙃
