Day 150.

Happy Sunday! 🥰

The highlight of my day was catching up with my college friends on Zoom. It’s been too long! I enjoy every second with them. 💙💛 Everyone’s doing well.

Animal Crossing update: rearranging furniture in the living room. My storage is full so I’ll have to sell some items. I need new wallpaper. There’s also fireworks tonight! I’ll catch the last of it before midnight. It’s so beautiful to watch. Love it! My island is doing alright.

Kilig. I don’t know if it’s there yet, but we’ll see. It’s a Filipino word. Google it. 😂 I guess stepping out of my comfort zone is helping me gain confidence. Whether this works out or not. Dude seems really nice and understanding. Carpe diem!!!

I got some sad news today and I’m processing it. So heartbreaking. 😭💔

Giants didn’t take the series in LA. I’m just glad we didn’t get swept. 🖤🧡

It’ll be a busy day tomorrow and the rest of the week. Always making progress. But must pace myself.

Day 149.

I was very productive today! I even got to sleep in. I’m proud of myself. I felt a little discouraged in the beginning, but I can get through this. 🙂

Animal Crossing update: my island is doing alright. Happy Birthday to Bud! 🥳 I stopped by his house a few times to party with him. He’s still dancing and eating cake. Haha. Can’t wait until I can celebrate mine. Won’t be until next year, but should be fun!

Played my uke again. I haven’t picked it up in the last week. I love strumming it.

I decided to put eyeshadow and eyeliner on. It’s been so long. It’s simple, but helps make your eyes pop! 👁 I don’t wear mascara often, but if I must I can’t wear my glasses. It smudges.

Giants get the W in LA! Cueto did really well. Our offense showed up tonight too. 5-4 victory! 🥰🖤🧡

Our cousin is expecting a girl! We’ve got a nephew on the way too next year. So exciting! Can’t wait to spoil them. 😄 I miss our family. Wish we could all be together again.

That was my Saturday. Hoping to take it easy tomorrow, but it’s chore day! Hurrah.

Day 148.

Ahh, I’m a little late! Had to take care of some stuff.

Watched a few episodes of Twilight Zone with the fam. So many great episodes! Rod Serling is the best. 🖤

Animal Crossing update: Gulliver gifted me the Stonehenge. So cool! I’m still trying to figure out where to put it. Doing my best to clean up my island.

I’m trying to detox my social media usage. It can be a lot. I can waste hours on it. I’m planning to read more. Must focus on my career goals!!!

I got my exercise in too. The resistance bands are kicking my butt. It’s working!

Giants lost in LA. I just want one win from the series. PLS!!!

There’s a lot to do. I overthink a lot. Lots of thinking during the pandemic. We’re still in the thick of it. Keep safe, everyone!!! 😷

Day 144.

Happy Monday! 💟

It was a productive day. My highlight was visiting our Lola (grandma). We’ve been talking to her on the phone these last few months, but she loves it when we stop by so that’s what we did in the afternoon. We baked brownies last night and placed them in an airtight container. It’s her favorite dessert. It’s been tough not being able to hug her. 😭 But we love seeing her happy.

Before we went home we stopped by Burger King to grab lunch. I really wanted a Whopper. The commercial worked on me! Haha. It’s my favorite thing to order. The Hershey pie too. 😋

After lunch I washed dishes. It piled up these last few days. I always listen to music to get it done faster.

I took a nap since I woke up early. I needed the two hours of sleep. My pin, scrunchies, mask, and Switch Lite case arrived today. I love receiving happy mail! It’s the best. 🥰

Giants didn’t win in Colorado. Hoping they take a game before heading to LA again later this week. Ah!

I’ll be tackling my to do list all week. I’ll get it all done. Anyway, we’re currently watching Forrest Gump. One of my faves!!

Day 141.

TGIF! 😎

  • I slept okay.
  • I finished Kiki’s Delivery Service. I loved it! I want a red bow now.
  • I helped out with lunch this afternoon. We made spam, garlic rice, and fried eggs. We also had tomatoes. We also made spam musubi for the first time. Turned out well!
  • Boba and ice cream for dessert. Boba was delicious! We ordered from honey creme. I’ll try the ice cream in a bit.
  • Washed the dishes.
  • I’m finally registered for my TEFL course! Let’s do this!!! I’m excited to learn again.
  • Catching up with friends via text. Yay!
  • I realized even more today that self-care is so important. I played my usual round of Animal Crossing and listened to the Giants game on the radio. I’m also listening to music right now. The little things energize me.
  • Now I’m trying to figure out if I should buy this cool Simpsons print. Decisions.

Day 140.

Happy Thursday! It’s almost the weekend. 😎

I was able to buy the Colourpop Sailor Moon eyeshadow palette. The blushes were in my cart, but I didn’t check out fast enough and they sold out. I hope there’s another restock. I was a bit frustrated with the process tbqh. I wasn’t alone in feeling that. The collection was released at 10am PDT. I entered the contest on IG, Twitter, and FB for a chance to win the entire collection. So maybe there’s luck on my side. 🙂

I stayed up watching the first season of Ashley Garcia: Genius in Love. It’s such a cute show and the cast is really good. I might start Part 2 tonight.

It’s been a busy, but productive week! I’ve got some things to prep for the potential after school enrichment courses I might be teaching in the Fall. Must brainstorm! It’s different from what I typically take care of at work, but it’s a nice way to share my passions with the community. 🙂 It was nice catching up with the boss.

I also caught up with my therapist on the phone after three weeks. It’s great to just talk and get her perspective.

Listened to some of the Giants game on the radio. Watched a bit of the Clippers/Lakers game too. Basketball is back!

There’s a lot to do these next upcoming weeks, but I’m looking forward to the change. Yay!

Animal Crossing update: Bought another painting from Redd. I check online to make sure it’s authentic. It was! Finally caught the gigas giant clam. It was challenging to get. It took me a few tries. I donated it to my island’s museum!

Uke update: I’m playing Somewhere Over The Rainbow with less errors. This is huge! I even recorded audio of me playing this afternoon. I sound good. When I’m really comfortable I’ll shoot a video to share with friends and family.

A&W rules btw! I love their Coney Cheese dog and curds.

Day 138.

Happy Tuesday!

I was able to secure the things I needed at IKEA. A lot of low stock due to the pandemic so I was unable to proceed with the original items I wanted. Delivery is set for August. Yay!

Animal Crossing update: 7/30 is the day! We get fireworks every Sunday in August. So exciting!! 😊 It’s something to look forward to before the week ends. Pascal dropped some more knowledge. He’s so funny. Love him!

I didn’t get to nap today so I’m pretty tired. I stayed awake so I could eat my In-N-Out burger in time. After dinner we tuned in for the Giants home opener. We lost. Final score 5 SD, 3 SF. New day, new game tomorrow.

We also watched a Jeopardy episode on Netflix. One of our fave shows at home.

I received some good news today. I must brainstorm on an online course to offer in the Fall if work doesn’t open in time. It might take me a while, but I think I’ll figure it out.

I took it easy today. I’m planning to be more productive tomorrow.

Day 136.

Happy Sunday! I can’t believe this is the final week of July. Time is flying.

I started my morning off with Animal Crossing. I bought turnips and didn’t miss Daisy Mae compared to last weekend. Hurrah! Then I made tea, plated cookies, and got ready for my video chat with my friend, Diana. She’s doing big things and I’m so proud of her. Best of luck in Baltimore! I’ll miss ya lots. 🥰

I took a quick nap before engaging in a zoom meeting about social justice and the BLM movement. I enjoyed the conversation and I’m glad I was able to contribute to the discussion. I’m evolving and keeping an open mind to keep the conversation going. BLM 🖤

After that I had a late lunch. I also measured my window area for where my new desk will potentially stand. There’s so much I want to tackle. A day at a time.

I also got to catch up with my friend Brandy via text. She’s doing well too!

Online dating is still something for me. I think I’m being ghosted. Lol. I’m living my truth and doing my best to be transparent. If a person can’t accept that, thank u, next! No response since early this morning. I won’t think about it too much. We just started talking.

Anyway, the Giants are heading home after they split the series in LA. 2-2! 😎🖤🧡 Best news ever!!

Day 132.

I’m going to keep it short and simple tonight. Hope everyone had a nice Wednesday! 🧡

  • Woke up at a decent time. Watched a few Glee episodes. I’m almost done with s1! 🙂
  • Took a nap because I still felt tired.
  • Made myself a 🌭 for National Hot Dog Day. Woo!
  • Washed the dishes.
  • Played my uke. I needed the music.
  • Had tacos for dinner.
  • Played some Animal Crossing. Got a new DIY recipe from Pascal. New villager moved in. Yay!
  • Created another dating profile. Trying to be patient with myself and this process.
  • Caught up with the BFFs via text.
  • Took another nap. I just woke up.
  • Now it’s time to really call it a night. May sneak in another Glee epi.

Day 126.

Today was alright. It was tough for me, but I got through it. Still feeling very fatigued. Sighhh. Having low energy is a bummer.

Animal Crossing update: Pascal stopped by again and gave me a pearl! I want more recipes. I also bought a cute tea table for my house. Not sure where to put it yet.

We finally watched The Princess and the Frog. Such a beautiful movie! We love the cast and the music. 🥰

The earrings from my friend’s Mom’s small business arrived today. So pretty! I can’t wait to wear it.

I’m going to play a little more AC and then get ready for bed. I have an early morning because I’ll be up to support my friend’s dissertation defense at 8am PDT/11EDT. So exciting! I need sleep.
