life – Page 46 – let me think.

Day 141.

TGIF! 😎

I slept okay.
I finished Kiki’s Delivery Service. I loved it! I want a red bow now.
I helped out with lunch this afternoon. We made spam, garlic rice, and fried eggs. We also had tomatoes. We also made spam musubi for the first time. Turned out well!
Boba and ice cream for dessert. Boba was delicious! We ordered from honey creme. I’ll try the ice cream in a bit.
Washed the dishes.
I’m finally registered for my TEFL course! Let’s do this!!! I’m excited to learn again.
Catching up with friends via text. Yay!
I realized even more today that self-care is so important. I played my usual round of Animal Crossing and listened to the Giants game on the radio. I’m also listening to music right now. The little things energize me.
Now I’m trying to figure out if I should buy this cool Simpsons print. Decisions.

That was my Friday! Time to recharge this weekend. Happy weekend to all. Take care!

Good night.

Day 140.

Happy Thursday! It’s almost the weekend. 😎

I was able to buy the Colourpop Sailor Moon eyeshadow palette. The blushes were in my cart, but I didn’t check out fast enough and they sold out. I hope there’s another restock. I was a bit frustrated with the process tbqh. I wasn’t alone in feeling that. The collection was released at 10am PDT. I entered the contest on IG, Twitter, and FB for a chance to win the entire collection. So maybe there’s luck on my side. 🙂

I stayed up watching the first season of Ashley Garcia: Genius in Love. It’s such a cute show and the cast is really good. I might start Part 2 tonight.

It’s been a busy, but productive week! I’ve got some things to prep for the potential after school enrichment courses I might be teaching in the Fall. Must brainstorm! It’s different from what I typically take care of at work, but it’s a nice way to share my passions with the community. 🙂 It was nice catching up with the boss.

I also caught up with my therapist on the phone after three weeks. It’s great to just talk and get her perspective.

Listened to some of the Giants game on the radio. Watched a bit of the Clippers/Lakers game too. Basketball is back!

There’s a lot to do these next upcoming weeks, but I’m looking forward to the change. Yay!

Animal Crossing update: Bought another painting from Redd. I check online to make sure it’s authentic. It was! Finally caught the gigas giant clam. It was challenging to get. It took me a few tries. I donated it to my island’s museum!

Uke update: I’m playing Somewhere Over The Rainbow with less errors. This is huge! I even recorded audio of me playing this afternoon. I sound good. When I’m really comfortable I’ll shoot a video to share with friends and family.

A&W rules btw! I love their Coney Cheese dog and curds.

Well, that was my day. Hope yours went well! Take care always.

Good night.

Day 138.

Happy Tuesday!

I was able to secure the things I needed at IKEA. A lot of low stock due to the pandemic so I was unable to proceed with the original items I wanted. Delivery is set for August. Yay!

Animal Crossing update: 7/30 is the day! We get fireworks every Sunday in August. So exciting!! 😊 It’s something to look forward to before the week ends. Pascal dropped some more knowledge. He’s so funny. Love him!

I didn’t get to nap today so I’m pretty tired. I stayed awake so I could eat my In-N-Out burger in time. After dinner we tuned in for the Giants home opener. We lost. Final score 5 SD, 3 SF. New day, new game tomorrow.

We also watched a Jeopardy episode on Netflix. One of our fave shows at home.

I received some good news today. I must brainstorm on an online course to offer in the Fall if work doesn’t open in time. It might take me a while, but I think I’ll figure it out.

I took it easy today. I’m planning to be more productive tomorrow.

That was my Tuesday. Hope everyone had a nice one. Take care!

Good night.

Day 136.

Happy Sunday! I can’t believe this is the final week of July. Time is flying.

I started my morning off with Animal Crossing. I bought turnips and didn’t miss Daisy Mae compared to last weekend. Hurrah! Then I made tea, plated cookies, and got ready for my video chat with my friend, Diana. She’s doing big things and I’m so proud of her. Best of luck in Baltimore! I’ll miss ya lots. 🥰

I took a quick nap before engaging in a zoom meeting about social justice and the BLM movement. I enjoyed the conversation and I’m glad I was able to contribute to the discussion. I’m evolving and keeping an open mind to keep the conversation going. BLM 🖤

After that I had a late lunch. I also measured my window area for where my new desk will potentially stand. There’s so much I want to tackle. A day at a time.

I also got to catch up with my friend Brandy via text. She’s doing well too!

Online dating is still something for me. I think I’m being ghosted. Lol. I’m living my truth and doing my best to be transparent. If a person can’t accept that, thank u, next! No response since early this morning. I won’t think about it too much. We just started talking.

Anyway, the Giants are heading home after they split the series in LA. 2-2! 😎🖤🧡 Best news ever!!

I’m hoping for a great week. Take care! 😷

Good night.

Day 132.

I’m going to keep it short and simple tonight. Hope everyone had a nice Wednesday! 🧡

Woke up at a decent time. Watched a few Glee episodes. I’m almost done with s1! 🙂
Took a nap because I still felt tired.
Made myself a 🌭 for National Hot Dog Day. Woo!
Washed the dishes.
Played my uke. I needed the music.
Had tacos for dinner.
Played some Animal Crossing. Got a new DIY recipe from Pascal. New villager moved in. Yay!
Created another dating profile. Trying to be patient with myself and this process.
Caught up with the BFFs via text.
Took another nap. I just woke up.
Now it’s time to really call it a night. May sneak in another Glee epi.

Take care everyone!

Good night.

Day 126.

Today was alright. It was tough for me, but I got through it. Still feeling very fatigued. Sighhh. Having low energy is a bummer.

Animal Crossing update: Pascal stopped by again and gave me a pearl! I want more recipes. I also bought a cute tea table for my house. Not sure where to put it yet.

We finally watched The Princess and the Frog. Such a beautiful movie! We love the cast and the music. 🥰

The earrings from my friend’s Mom’s small business arrived today. So pretty! I can’t wait to wear it.

I’m going to play a little more AC and then get ready for bed. I have an early morning because I’ll be up to support my friend’s dissertation defense at 8am PDT/11EDT. So exciting! I need sleep.

Hope y’all had a nice Thursday. Take care!

Good night.

Day 118.

Today was alright. My day’s have been better. There are a bunch of things bothering me at the moment, but I shall vent & save that for another day.

We had Indian food for lunch. Always delicious! I also bought mango lassi for everyone. It’s so refreshing.

Highlight of the day: I got to catch up with my grandma on the phone. It was brief, but I’m glad she’s doing okay. She just wanted to say hello. I love you, Lola! ❤️

Animal Crossing update: I have another piece of art to add to my museum. It’s Venus de Milo! Thanks, Redd. And Pascal gave me mermaid flooring today. Good progress!

My medication wasn’t delivered today. I was expecting it in the afternoon. Hopefully it gets to me tomorrow. I really need it. 😬

One of my other masks came in today too. I’ll try it on tomorrow. Gotta practice my uke in a bit.

That was my Wednesday. Hope yours went well. Take care!

Good night.

Day 110.

At the beginning of the day all I did was catch up on my shows and movies. I finished Love, Victor. What a great story and cast! I love all the different personalities. The show also talks about important issues like family dynamics and one’s identity. Here’s hoping for season 2! Felix reminds me of a mix of Shawn Mendes and Harry Styles. Gordo from Lizzie McGuire too. He’s in my top 3 fave characters.

I woke up at a decent time, but I was feeling sluggish. Decided to fight through that by watching Us. Jordan Peele is a really good writer. I was intrigued the entire time. I still have some questions, but I’m sure other viewers can give me the answers. Afterwards, I took a nap. I slept for a few hours.

I had lunch as soon as I woke up. Our See’s Candies delivery arrived a day early. Scotchmallow, gummies, and chocolate! 😋 I wish I ordered rum nougat. Next time.

We also watched BlacKkKlansman! What a movie. Great cast as well. Adam Driver. 😍 I enjoy Spike Lee’s films. Definitely overlaps with the current events and political climate. I don’t understand the hatred and anger over someone’s identity. It makes me angry just thinking about it. Folx must do better. 🖤 #BlackLivesMatter

Tried A&W for the first time today. I got the coney dog and a root beer. Might have to do the root beer float next time. It’s refreshing!

Animal Crossing update: loan is almost paid off. The goal is to pay off about 10k bells each day. I’m getting there. Yes! I need to sell or give away clothing. My storage is full. I’ll figure it out. Lol.

Practiced my uke and needed a Stand By Me refresher. I remember it now so I’ll be practicing that some more this week.

Hoping to walk tomorrow. Still quite anxious, but I must face my fears. I’ll wear my mask and keep my distance from people!

That was my Tuesday. I need a good night’s sleep. Hope y’all had a nice one. Take care!

Good night.

Day 104.

It was indeed a happy Wednesday for me! I was about to sleep, but the results for my echo were released at 5am. My heart looks good and there are no significant changes compared to the one that I had in 11/2019. Yay!!! So grateful. 💜

I randomly woke up at 10:30am. Our dog heard noises and it turns out it was just my sister. Lol. So since I was awake I decided to play some Animal Crossing. My island is still a hot mess. Oh well. I made all this fencing, but I don’t know what to do with it. My playground is still a work in progress too. Mehhh.

I made banana bread. I needed to destress. My sisters brought Sal to the groomers, so I decided to bake before they got back. It’s a simple and delicious recipe! Next on the to bake list is pound cake. 😋

We got to catch up with our friend via text. Lots of new things going on with her. I’m so proud! ❤️ I’m still figuring things out for myself. I’m at a crossroads. Sigh.

I fell asleep. My nap was supposed to be an hour. It became 1.5 hours. Whoops. I’m planning to be much more active tomorrow. Gotta tackle laundry.

Must practice my uke and take my evening meds. That was my Wednesday. Btw I ordered two new masks. One of them is floral and the other one is Sailor Moon! 🙂

Hope y’all had a good one. Take care!

Good night.

Day 100.

Happy Summer! ☀️

It’s been 100 days since work shut down and the shelter in place soon followed. Mind blown. 😱 I’m doing okay. I miss doing simple and mundane tasks outside. I wish I took advantage of it before the pandemic. Sigh.

Before I went to sleep I watched Knives Out with the fam. It was really good! It had me guessing the entire time. The cast was great. 🙂 Check it out if you’re into mystery.

It’s been a sad day. The news was heartbreaking. 😭 My friend’s dog, Louie, crossed over to the rainbow bridge today. I met him in January 2013. I think he barked at me. Haha. He eventually mellowed out as the evening went on. Louie was one of the sweetest dogs ever. I remember the random trip to Portland and he joined us for our adventure. I also visited LA in 2016 (that’s me with Louie!) and he followed us all over the house. Time flies. Pets teach us so much along the way. I cherish every family pet we have had. RIP dear Louie. ❤️🐶

My classmate from high school also shared her story of miscarriage. My heart breaks for her too. Thank you for sharing Layla’s story. 💕

I didn’t do much today. I slept in. We made mochi pancakes in the afternoon with bananas and strawberries on the side. Afterwards, I decided to lie down and play some Animal Crossing. My island is a mess and so is my house. Slowly getting my loan down. It’ll be another few weeks. I don’t time travel. Many of my friends do, but I’m content playing in real time.

I just bought Affinity Photo. I need a photo editor on my laptop. Adobe programs are out of my budget. Their sale ends tonight. If you need a photo editing program, check them out. It’s a decent alternative!

It’s Father’s Day tomorrow and I find myself being happy and sad. 😢 I feel so many emotions. It’s tough sometimes, but I always find a way to make it through the day. It’s been complicated. I love Dad very much. It’s a generational difference as well as a cultural. I won’t elaborate much more.

I’m hoping for a better week. I’m still feeling kind of down with my current situation. I won’t ever know if I don’t ask. So I’m going to type up an email and I’ll go from there. I do need advice from other patients. Sighhh. Just breathe.

Gotta practice my uke. 🙂

I hope you all had a nice Saturday. Take care!

Good night.
