Day 248.

Happy Sunday! Where did the weekend go? It’s a new week and I hope to accomplish as much as I can. But it’s important to take breaks. I opt for naps! 😴

We got our Asian groceries delivered to us today. I placed the order on Friday. Super legit! I’m happy with the service. COVID cases are surging in California and parts of the Bay Area. Please continue to wear a mask, social distance, and wash your hands! 😷 It’s getting real. 😱😭

I’m currently listening to Christmas music. I started in the summer and now I’m back to looping it. So great! I’m also in the middle of holiday shopping online. Trying to find practical gifts for family, friends, and coworkers. 🎅🏼

Animal Crossing update: Cleaned up a bit. Put a lot of things in storage. I’m also redoing the tree layout on Mango. I’ve also trashed some flowers. There’s too many! 🙃

Tuesday is giving me anxiety. But I’ll get through it. I’ve got calls to make tomorrow before work. I hope we can settle the bill. Eep! I need my new night guard.

Niners lost in New Orleans. 💔 Still sticking with them. It’s forever!!! ❤️💛

Day 247.

The holiday season is here! I’ve been playing Christmas music. We watched This Christmas and Elf. 🎄❤️ We plan on decorating next week. Going to take advantage of the holidays despite the pandemic! We miss family and friends, but it’s for the best.

I got to sleep in! Glorious. I didn’t get to do much today. I’ll be more productive tomorrow. Ordered dessert from Matcha Cafe Maiko! Still one of my fave places. I got the boba sundae and a hojicha latte. 😄

I took a nap after watching the movies. Woke up in time to eat Taco Bell for dinner. Always delicious, but must have it in moderation.

Planning to practice driving tomorrow. I must do it! I gotta get more comfortable behind the wheel. Practice makes progress. Yay! 💜

Animal Crossing update: I got to hang out with Bob. His house is fun. I cleaned up some flowers. Tidying up for the next update. I’m excited for all the Christmas stuff!

Day 246.

TGIF! I’m so happy it’s the weekend. This week was a lot, but I got through it. 💕

My weekend plans: clean, study, and watch movies. I’m going to activate lazy and couch mode. Might pay a quick visit to our family so we can see Tink. Maybe Saturday or Sunday? I also need to practice driving. I can do it!

It was a busy Friday for me. I had another COVID test done before my dental appointment next week. Just need to clear up some insurance stuff and settle a bill. I need my new night guard! PLS.

The rain finally arrived in the Bay Area! And it was cold. Oh dear. 🥶

I’ve placed a grocery order online and got some things at Target. Trying to find Christmas gifts too.

We watched The Simpsons, an old episode of Supermarket Sweep, and 20/20. 20/20 was so sad. Probably one of the saddest episodes I’ve ever seen.

Getting ready for the holiday season. I’m so ready!

Animal Crossing update: I sold my turnips. Not much else happened. Maybe it’ll be more eventful tomorrow.

Day 245.

It’s been so cold that all I want to do is stay in bed, but that’s not happening until Saturday. 🥶🙃 One more day! My day went well. It’s just different when the boss man isn’t around. Here’s hoping he returns next week!

Rain is in the forecast tomorrow. Yay! We need it.

I’ve got a COVID test to take tomorrow morning and a virtual appointment with my therapist.

Still sorting out some paperwork regarding my dental care. Kinda stressful tbh, but I hope it settles soon.

Animal Crossing update: I love having Bob on my island. He’s so cool!

Btw, chips are my weakness. Junk food in general. 🤪 Must chill out. Lol!

Day 244.

Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all the men and women who have served and to those still serving. 🇺🇸❤️

It’s Wednesday! I’m looking forward to the weekend. I feel pretty run down already. It was just my coworker and I today. Might be us until the end of the week. Sending well wishes to our boss!

Gotta make a phone call in the morning about my dental insurance. I slept in so I didn’t have the time. Here’s hoping I get up when my alarm goes off.

Animal Crossing update: Bob has moved in! He seems like a lot of fun. I’ll stop by tomorrow when he’s settled in. 🙂

I plan to watch movies and catch up on my shows this weekend! My destressor tonight was watching The Masked Singer and I Can See Your Voice. Always entertaining! Jesse McCartney was the guest judge on ICSYV. Beautiful Soul!!! 💕

Day 243.

Happy Tuesday! 🙂 I had a very adventurous day. First off, I didn’t sleep very well since I had milk tea with boba pretty late yesterday. I was tossing and turning. Secondly, I was nervous, anxious, and excited for my driving lesson! It’s been years since I was behind the wheel. Slowly regaining my confidence back. My featured image is of me before my lesson. 🤓

My instructor picked me up before 10:15am. She drives a 2020 Rav4 Hybrid. So cool! The car was comfy. We went all over the city: St. Francis Wood, Sunset, Great Highway, and the Presidio! That was my favorite part. I saw the Golden Gate Bridge on a clear day. It was beautiful! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to snap any pics. I have the memories. My lesson went well! There are a few things I need to work on and it’s important to practice. I plan on committing time on Sundays to drive for a bit. I don’t want to avoid driving anymore. I’ll be alright! I know I can do it. 🥰

Pandemic update in SF: indoor dining is being halted starting Friday. Cases are going up all over the nation. It’s increasing in California and the city too. Please continue to wear a mask, social distance, and wash your hands. 2020 has been a trying year and we’re all dealing with pandemic fatigue. Do your part to keep others safe! 😷

Work went well. It was a short day! I started to feel the fatigue after work. Once I got home I ate a bit and then I decided to take a nap. Much needed! But before that I played some ACNH. My new villager is Bob! Pretty cool since he’s an OG.

I’m in the middle of updating my iPhone. I’m typing this up on my laptop. I’m listening to The Aces again. Brought up some memories from the summer, but whatever. I’ll be okay!

I’ve gotta take care of some things tomorrow before work. Taking it a day at a time. The more I think about something I get stuck in this cycle of negative thoughts. Just breathe!

Day 242.

I had a case of the Mondays. I was cold and tired. It’s getting chilly in the city. I bundled up for work – beanie, scarf, and gloves. 🥶 Work was an adventure, but I’m always learning & growing. 👍🏼

I took care of everything on my to do list. My Covid test has been scheduled, ordered my meds, and dropped off a birthday card for Earl. Gotta deal with some other things later on this week. I hope it gets sorted out.

I wore my vanilla perfume today. It’s divine! Perfect for the season. I’m excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s been a trying year, but it’s nice to look forward to the little things such as hot chocolate, wrapping presents, and putting up decorations.

My driving lesson is tomorrow morning and I’m pumped! I hope I do well. It’s been a while. My instructor seems nice.

I had milk tea with boba earlier and I don’t think it’s the best idea. Lol! I feel pretty wired right now. I’m hoping I can sleep at a decent time. I gotta be up at 9am.

I strummed my uke for a bit. I’m going to learn some holiday songs to play for family and friends. 🙂

Animal Crossing update: I played this morning. I’ll play again in a bit to spend some time with Wart Jr. He’s moving out tomorrow.

Day 241.

There was so much happiness yesterday with history being made! But today, I’m sad. Alex Trebek has passed. He was 80. I knew this day would eventually come. Just watched his special on ABC. He was a fixture at home. My fondest memories of Jeopardy was watching with my grandparents when I was a kid. RIP Alex. You’ll be missed. 💙

I went for a walk after lunch. It was chilly! It started to shower too. I was on the hunt for a newspaper, but was unsuccessful. That’s okay.

When I got back, I decided to take a nap. I had a random dream about a party at home. Some cute guy that I know in real life was in it. And then I woke up. Darn it! 😬😂 I was cold and tired. I was supposed to clean today, but I didn’t get around to it. I might tidy a bit before bed.

Driving lesson is on Tuesday! I’m pretty excited, but nervous. I also have to deal with a list of other things regarding my dental care. Ahh! How is the weekend already over? I’m hoping to have a good week.

Animal Crossing update: I time traveled to get my turnips. Woo! Wart, Jr. is moving out. Farewell!

Day 240.

HAPPY SATURDAY! We’ve got a President Elect and VP Elect!!! It was an amazing day!!! Congratulations to Joe and Kamala!! 😎🇺🇸💙 January 20, 2021 can’t come quickly enough. I’m excited for the transition. I cried happy tears. Progress!!! 🙏🏼

It was a pretty chill day. I took a nap a few hours after the news broke. But before that we had a delicious brunch from Just For You Cafe. I had a chorizo scramble with biscuits. Everything was delicious.

We watched the victory speeches at 5:30pm! LOVE.

Animal Crossing update: I played for a bit. Didn’t get around to playing some more since I’ve been tired. Hoping to play more tomorrow. 🙂

SNL was fun tonight. We watched the 9pm airing. Dave Chapelle!!! He’s great.

Day 239.

TGIF! I was waiting for rain and it never came. I wore my Docs for nothing. I’m still resting my feet.

Work went well. We had a different schedule due to a school event upstairs. The good news was I didn’t have to keep going up and down the hill. 👍🏼 I bought some snacks during my break. I need the comfort food right now. We are waiting for the final election results, but states are still counting. 🙃 I’m hopeful. 💙

Animal Crossing update: My island is doing fine. Flick is in town. I should probably try to sell him some bugs before bed.

I’m looking forward to the weekend! I plan to sleep in, fold my laundry, and organize my desk. 💕 I already watched a holiday movie on my to watch list – Operation Christmas Drop. It was pretty good.
