Happy Summer! ☀️
It’s been 100 days since work shut down and the shelter in place soon followed. Mind blown. 😱 I’m doing okay. I miss doing simple and mundane tasks outside. I wish I took advantage of it before the pandemic. Sigh.
Before I went to sleep I watched Knives Out with the fam. It was really good! It had me guessing the entire time. The cast was great. 🙂 Check it out if you’re into mystery.
It’s been a sad day. The news was heartbreaking. 😭 My friend’s dog, Louie, crossed over to the rainbow bridge today. I met him in January 2013. I think he barked at me. Haha. He eventually mellowed out as the evening went on. Louie was one of the sweetest dogs ever. I remember the random trip to Portland and he joined us for our adventure. I also visited LA in 2016 (that’s me with Louie!) and he followed us all over the house. Time flies. Pets teach us so much along the way. I cherish every family pet we have had. RIP dear Louie. ❤️🐶
My classmate from high school also shared her story of miscarriage. My heart breaks for her too. Thank you for sharing Layla’s story. 💕
I didn’t do much today. I slept in. We made mochi pancakes in the afternoon with bananas and strawberries on the side. Afterwards, I decided to lie down and play some Animal Crossing. My island is a mess and so is my house. Slowly getting my loan down. It’ll be another few weeks. I don’t time travel. Many of my friends do, but I’m content playing in real time.
I just bought Affinity Photo. I need a photo editor on my laptop. Adobe programs are out of my budget. Their sale ends tonight. If you need a photo editing program, check them out. It’s a decent alternative!
It’s Father’s Day tomorrow and I find myself being happy and sad. 😢 I feel so many emotions. It’s tough sometimes, but I always find a way to make it through the day. It’s been complicated. I love Dad very much. It’s a generational difference as well as a cultural. I won’t elaborate much more.
I’m hoping for a better week. I’m still feeling kind of down with my current situation. I won’t ever know if I don’t ask. So I’m going to type up an email and I’ll go from there. I do need advice from other patients. Sighhh. Just breathe.
