Day 407.

TGIF! It was a long week, but I got through it. 🧡

  • I got up early to help with street cleaning. I was having a dream about hanging out with my college friends at a dating show and then my alarm went off.
  • I had to get ready to get to the lab to take care of my monthly draw and order my meds. Thankful that my aunt was able to help me.
  • It was a quick visit! Before heading home, I bought Jamba Juice for everyone.
  • Ordered my meds. I was on hold for a while. It’ll be delivered tomorrow!
  • Then I got ready for work. I had an early dismissal. I love that! I was able to mellow out and be with my family for a late lunch. We watched Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune.
  • Just rewatched an episode of Broad City with my sisters. Still so funny!
  • My weekend will be filled with studying and completing my module assignment. Let’s do it!!!
  • Dubs and Giants with the W! Woo. 💙💛🖤🧡
  • Animal Crossing update: sold my turnips for 489 bells!!! Sister even visited my island finally. I told her to take all the DIYs. Thanks for the bells.
  • Ordered some new Sanrio stationery goodies. 😍 So exciting!!
  • Thankful for the boba treat from our cousins. 🙏🏼
  • It was a good day. 💜

Day 396.

Happy Monday! I miss spring break, but today went well. Today was Earl’s last day and it was bittersweet. I wish him all the best!! 💕

  • I had a decent night’s sleep. Hoping to sleep better tonight.
  • I decided to ride the stationary bike before work. The 13 min ride was great!!! I might do that again tomorrow.
  • I was running a little late, but thankfully I got to work in time. I had to grab gifts and break in my new shoes. Pretty wild.
  • The boss is back and his temp will now be taking over the other cohort. It’s different, but I can make it work. I always find a way to be flexible and I think I do well with others.
  • We’ve been cooking a lot at home. I love ordering takeout, but it’s best to just save it for special occasions.
  • I really miss having boba, but I told myself I would save it for the end of the month.
  • Animal Crossing is keeping us busy! I finally got Mira’s picture today. So happy! I wrapped up a gold nugget and BAM! I’ve been playing for almost a year. Can’t believe I got it before 4/23!!!
  • Watching the new mighty ducks series. I like it so far! Now we’re going to continue watching Man of the House.
  • Steph Curry is now the franchise scoring leader! Go Dubs!!!!!! 💙💛
  • I’m hoping the rest of the week goes well. Schedules changes left and right, but I can’t complain. Thankful for everything! Perspective. 💜

Day 382.

Happy Monday! I had a case of the Mondays. Struggle city for me, but I got through it.

  • I had a decent night’s sleep! Glorious. 🙏🏼
  • Work went well. Just a few more days and then it’s spring break!!
  • Trying to figure out what to get me coworker for his going away present. I’ll miss him!
  • Sanrio x ACNH Amiibo cards arrived today! Thankful for my sister for finding a good deal. Toby is at my campsite, but I must invite them again and then encourage them to move to my island. Mango rules!!! That’s my Animal Crossing update. Also dug up eggs and sold some turnips.
  • NCAA basketball! Watched the Arkansas vs. Baylor game. It was a nail biter! Baylor got the W.
  • Also watched the Dubs game. Got the W! 💙💛
  • Telfar bag security program is tomorrow. I’m ready!! 😎👜
  • I’ve got an early morning so I should sleep very soon. My last iron infusion is tomorrow. Can’t wait!!
  • Lastly, another relative of ours passed away. Thank you for all the candy throughout the years, Lolo Dading. Say hello to Lolo and Lola!! RIP 🤍

Day 381.

Happy Sunday! I officially got my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine today. 🥲🙏🏼 I’m so thankful. My body is doing alright atm.

  • I woke up at a decent time. I had to study and complete an assignment for my class. It’s been challenging! I’m not sure if I did it properly, but I’ll look it over again and submit it tomorrow or Tuesday.
  • I ate a lot of great food. BLT, corn bread, and half a burger. I needed to nourish myself before my vaccine appt!
  • Caught some of the UCLA game. They’re still dancing. Go Bruins! 💙💛
  • Appointment went well. It was in Mission Bay. I’m rarely in that part of town. It was nice to see Chase Center from a distance! The wait wasn’t long. The staff were all very friendly!
  • Dealing with arm soreness and I felt tired earlier so I took a nap. I’m going to heat up some soup and stay hydrated. No need for any Tylenol right now.
  • Animal Crossing update: I met Zipper and he’s a little creepy! But it’s cool to see eggs on my island. Bunny Day is 4/4! I also bought my turnips from Daisy Mae. All is well on Mango. I really want my Sanrio items and maybe a new villager!! 🥰
  • I’m hoping for a great week! It’s a short one and then it’ll be spring break!! I need to recharge for sure. I’ve got a lot of plans during that week. Can’t believe Easter is in a week. Time flies!

Day 376.

Happy Tuesday! It was another busy day for me, but I made it. 💜

  • Super difficult to get up, but I had to be on time for my appointment.
  • Everything went well. CT scan was quick and it wasn’t too busy at the lab.
  • I got to order my meds and it’ll be delivered tomorrow. Yay!!!
  • Animal Crossing update: I missed out on selling my turnips for 564 bells. 🙃 I moved the camp site again. Doing my best to revamp my island. There’s a lot of work, but it’ll be worth it.
  • Work went well. Just didn’t get to go home early because of a schedule change.
  • I was able to chat with family before dinner. Happy Birthday to you, Jacob! Until we’re altogether again. 💗 Lola!!!
  • I’ve been studying and keeping up with my class. I studied for an hour. 🙂 I’m determined to finish this certificate!!
  • Now I’m watching ANTM with thee sisters. We’re rewatching s7.
  • I also watched the Dubs earlier. We could’ve won the game. 😞

Well, I’m going to take it easy the rest of the night. I’m hoping to get a good night’s sleep.

Day 364.

OMG! It’s almost been a year of blogging. Tomorrow is the day!! 😱 I can’t believe it.

  • Chill day for me. I was able to sleep in! I really needed it.
  • I was in bed for a while since I just wanted to relax. I watched some of the Center Stage reunion from last year.
  • I eventually got up and prepped for the day. We decided to order Mediterranean food for lunch. 🙂 So good!!
  • We watched some episodes of America’s Next Top Model – cycle 6!
  • I had to move the car for street cleaning. I couldn’t find a spot for a while. Parked a few blocks away. I hope it’ll be okay overnight. Also got to chat with family again today.
  • Played insane amounts of Animal Crossing! I put together my flower garden. Very cool. 🌷
  • Ordered some milk teas + popcorn chicken for merienda. 😋
  • Watched some of the Dubs game. We got owned!!
  • Now we’re going to finish Time & Again. A Filipino movie. So far it’s good.
  • Still very happy about the long weekend.
  • Lastly, sending good vibes to our Lola and Lala! Wishing all the best. We love y’all!!!! 💕

That was my Thursday! Hope it went well for all of you. Hoping to schedule my iron infusions tomorrow! No one picked up so I’ll try in the morning.

Day 356.

Happy Wednesday! It’s hump day. Hurrah!!!

  • Arm soreness kept me up. I dealt with it, but I woke up a few times during the night.
  • I was able to get through work, so that’s a good sign! Here’s hoping I get my 2nd dose appt soon. And it was also really nice to catch up with my work community! It’s rare to talk nowadays. Sending love to everyone!! 💕
  • I watched the Dubs game during dinner. Would’ve been nice to get the W! 😣
  • Also tuned in for name that tune. Such a fun show!
  • Now we’re watching the news. I’m still very hopeful during this pandemic! Slowly getting back to normalcy, but it’ll still be a while.
  • Animal Crossing update: I made some new items. I’m still buying more Mario things. Yay! There’s a visitor at the campsite, but not someone I’m interested in bringing to Mango. I’m about to play again shorty.
  • I’m always happy when bills are paid. Yes!!!
  • Lastly, it’s been 11 years since our paternal grandfather (Lolo) passed away. RIP. 🤍

Day 342.

Happy Wednesday! In 23 days, it’ll be a year since lockdown started for me. Time flies! And here we are.

  • I had a fairly productive day. I finally washed my Animal Crossing beddings set! Just in time for my bday this weekend. 🤗
  • Very productive session with my therapist. It’s always nice to just talk it out.
  • I took a much needed nap. Yes!
  • Before bed last night, I watched Three Words to Forever. I love Filipino movies! It helps me practice and understand Tagalog. Subtitles FTW!
  • Some more of my birthday presents arrived today. Yay!!! I’ll wrap it up just so I can open something. 😂
  • It’s back to work next week, but I’m taking advantage of my time off.
  • Must study and make progress tomorrow! I can!!
  • Caught some of the Dubs game. W! And baseball is officially back. Spring training!! The Giants have a lot of work ahead of them. We won’t be contenders for the next few years.
  • Animal Crossing update: Gulliver is in town. I’m going to play a bit so I can get a souvenir in exchange from him. I’m still moving things around on my island. So much work! I guess a player is never really done. And Bob is moving out. I decided to let him go so he can explore!
  • Super juiced about the Mario update. AC x Mario!!! ❤️
  • That was my day. Very chill.

Day 334.

Happy Tuesday! Time is going by very slowly, but I’m being patient. I can do this. 💗

  • I finished Cobra Kai. I can’t believe it! I finished it in less than a week. So good. 😭🥺 Watch it if you haven’t. I’ve always been a big fan of The Karate Kid franchise. Do it!! The video above is one of my favorite scenes. 😍
  • I dealt with a lot of phone calls today. Thankful for resources.
  • Watched a sneak peek of To All the Boys: Always and Forever. So good!! 💌 Thank you, Asian American Girl Club. Glad I was able to RSVP.
  • I’ve kept myself busy with music, tv, and movies! It’s repetitive, but I can get through this. 💜
  • Trying to figure out what to watch before bed.
  • I’m really craving fruit.
  • Animal Crossing update: I haven’t sold my turnips yet. The price isn’t right atm.
  • Dubs win in San Antonio! Much needed. 💙💛
  • I wore lipstick today! I love experimenting with color.
  • #FREEBRITNEY 💗 Watched the doc. She went through so much. I stand with her!!

Day 324.

Happy Saturday! 💗

  • Weekends are the best! I got to sleep in. 😊
  • I took care of my chores (washing dishes + laundry) after lunch. Afterwards I watched The Wedding Planner. It’s been 20 years! Still one of the best romcoms ever.
  • I rode the stationary bike for a few minutes. It made me tired, but I’m pacing myself. Slow and steady!
  • In-N-Out for dinner. I went with a cheeseburger meal and root beer. 😋
  • I watched the Dubs game. It was nice to see #ReporterKlay! We miss him out there. Next year!! 💙💛💙💛 Dubs with the W!!!
  • I’ve been watching a lot of 48 hours. RIP to Haley and Christie. 💞
  • Thinking of our Lola. She wasn’t feeling well. I hope we can see her tomorrow for a quick visit. I miss her.
  • I was supposed to study today, but I’ll do it tomorrow.
  • I’ve gotta exercise for a few more minutes. I can do this!
  • Animal Crossing update: I’m revamping my island. I’m taking care of the flowers and decorating. It’s great!! 🙂
