Day 291.

Monday, Monday! It was one of those days. Wow. I got up early to help the fam put some things out for the bulky item pickup. Glad that’s done with! They came by at about 10am.

I woke up at 5:35am. Went back to sleep at about 8am. It messed my day up. 😂 It’s fine since I’m on break! I got to catch up with my good friend, Michy via text. So nice to hear from her! My other friend Claudia is moving to NYC in a few days. I’ll miss her lots! We started at CCSF together. We connected because of social justice and baseball. Go Giants!!! Our friend Catherine has been living out there. Once it’s safe, I hope to see them both. Never been to NYC!

I took a really long nap. I needed those 3 hours to reset and recharge. Before that though – my tamagotchi got its bow from Hello Kitty! So cute. I love it!! 💗

Highlight of my day: My Little Mix Confetti vinyl was delivered. Yay!!! I really love the album and it’s the last one for them as a quartet. Still sad about Jesy, but happy that she’s taking care of her needs. ❤️

I hope to do more tomorrow. I’ve got dishes to wash tonight. I wanted to tidy up, but I might have to save that for later in the week.

Animal Crossing update: My island is doing well. I didn’t do a nice job building a Snowboy. 😂 I tried. I’ll try again tomorrow. Label was in town visiting. Didn’t pull off the goth look she was looking for. Lol! She’s giving me a tailor ticket anyway.

Day 290.

Happy Sunday! My sleep was all messed up today. I had a bit of my hojicha before bed so that might explain why I was up. I’m pretty sensitive to caffeine. I eventually fell asleep, but before I did I bought some necessities on Amazon. 😬

Highlight of my day: visiting our Lola and catching up with friends. Good times! ❤️ Adapting with the pandemic. We’ll get through this.

This is week 2 of my Christmas break! I’m taking advantage of my time off. I’m planning on tidying up, laundry, and studying.

Animal Crossing update: Happy Birthday to you, Goldie!!! She’s such a great villager. 💞

The last Christmas present I bought for myself is a laptop case. I won’t get it until mid-January and that’s fine.

Now I’m watching Sex and the City. This is a season I haven’t seen yet. I really want to rewatch it from the start.

Day 289.

Happy Saturday! I got to sleep in and it was glorious. 😌 Leftovers for brunch. Woo! I caught some of the Niners game. I’m happy that we won! 🙂

Before the game ended, I ran some errands with my sister. We were masked up and ready to go. It was nice to leave the house for a bit and take a walk. So many stores are closing because of the pandemic. 😭 Very sad news.

We had A&W for dinner. I ordered dessert from Matcha Cafe Maiko. I got to try the flavor of the month: strawberry! 🍓 So good.

I got to catch up with some high school friends. So nice to hear what everyone’s up to these days. I miss going out to dinner with friends. Sigh.

Animal Crossing update: Happy Birthday to Pashmina! I’ve been tidying up my island. I decided to move Goldie’s house. It’s her birthday tomorrow. Her house will now be near the beach. Yay!!!

That was my Saturday. I’m just taking it easy the rest of the night. Spotify will be on. Currently playing Little Mix. I’m still listening to Christmas music too. 🥸🎄

Day 288.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone! I hope it’s been a wonderful day. I stayed up playing Animal Crossing again and it was worth it. I finally completed the festive DIY set. Woo!!! The big festive tree was the last one that I needed. Before bed I also rewatched Dash & Lily. I also watched While You Were Sleeping with Mom. Btw, that’s me and the twin up there when we were in preschool.

I helped with cooking Christmas dinner. I made deviled eggs. It’s been a unique celebration, but I’m thankful to be at home with family. We were able to chat with our relatives too! I got to text with friends as well.

I’ve played a lot of Animal Crossing as the day progressed. Currently watching the last of the NBA games. Leonard was injured just now. Lots of blood! 😱 I hope he’ll be okay.

Just had some eggnog and I’m ready to open presents. We’re about to play Christmas Jeopardy! It’s fun.

Day 287.

Happy Thursday! It’s Christmas Eve!! 🥰 I’ve played a lot of Animal Crossing. It was Toy Day!!! I got some new recipes and I got to gift my villagers their presents. So fun! Jingle was so cool. I love special events. I stayed up trying to find more DIY recipes. It’s ruined my sleep. 😬😂

I got to see Jamie and we exchanged gifts from a distance. Our aunt also dropped off our favorite fruit tart. Thank you!! 😋

Before bed last night, I watched The Bee Gees doc on HBO Max. I love learning new things about them. They’re gifted writers. I love their music! I miss Maurice, Robin, and Andy. 😭😩 I love watching Barry’s interviews. I listened to some of their songs this afternoon. Too Much Heaven and Massachusetts remind me of my childhood.

Doggies are clean for Christmas. Glad we were able to finally bathe them!! 🥰 They hate it, but thankfully we were quick. All they ever want afterwards is a nice blanket to lie down on.

I had some eggnog with a hint of whiskey and cinnamon. It was pretty good! We’re enjoying our fave snacks and treats during the holiday season. It’s a unique one this year, but we’re making the most of it.

Lastly, I finally opened my Hello Kitty Tamagotchi! It’s so small compared to the original. It’s still fun though.

Day 286.

Happy Wednesday! I didn’t do much today. I finished sending out the rest of my holiday cards. That was a relief. I still have a few more presents to wrap up. I’m planning to clean up a bit before Friday! I can’t believe that Christmas is almost here.

We were able to grocery shop today. Yay! I stay home for all of that, but I help by unloading and putting things away. I really miss pre-COVID times. I know the world won’t be the same after all of this. 😭 I’m just thankful for food. ❤️

Anyway, I got to practice playing Last Christmas on my uke. It’s a lot of fun! I love learning new songs. I’ll probably learn some other Christmas songs too.

Animal Crossing update: it’s been something trying to get these festive DIYs. I only have 4 in total! I’ve stayed up just trying to get all of them. Here’s hoping I find another one tonight. 🥴🙃

I really want to watch The Bee Gees documentary. Maybe tonight? Or another holiday movie? I don’t know.

Planning to catch up with friends in the next few days. Can’t wait! Oh yeah, my highlight of the day: getting my Pat McGrath lipstick in the mail. Woo! Love the color.

Day 285.

Happy Tuesday! It’s been a pretty chill day. I stayed up playing Animal Crossing again. I found another recipe. Still on the hunt for more. We also watched Bohemian Rhapsody again + Queen music videos. Freddie Mercury was amazing! He’s missed. He was so creative and on another level. RIP Freddie. ❤️

I was able to send out our BFF’s gift. We had something for her niece too. I love giving people presents! Speaking of presents, I finally got around to wrapping stuff for my family. Hurrah! Now I must finish writing my holiday cards. Gotta get them in tomorrow. I hate being last minute! 😩

I watched a bit of the Dubs game. We’re looking okay, but we miss Klay!!! Get well soon. 💙💛

I fell asleep before the pizza got here. I woke up at 10:11pm. 😬 I got to eat my dinner and it was delish! I love crazy bread. 😋 I had some of the tres leches cake slice I ordered yesterday. It’s always so delicious!!

Might watch another movie tonight. I’d like to sleep early since my medicine will be delivered tomorrow. But it’s my holiday break and I’m enjoying my free time!!

Highlight of my day: catching up with friends via text. Always glad to hear from them!

Day 284.

Happy Monday! Here’s to the first week of holiday break. It’s going well so far.

I stayed up playing Animal Crossing. What’s new?! The gamble wasn’t the greatest. I found one holiday DIY recipe. I found another a few hours ago. The spawn rate isn’t very high. What’s worked for me: play a little, save my progress, recharge, and start again. A balloon present usually shows up fairly quickly.

The rest of my Monday consisted of writing holiday cards (I’m nowhere near done!), ordered my meds, and then got ready for my PFTs. I hope my results are good. I got a little lightheaded breathing in and out completely. After I finished, I treated myself to a decaf white chocolate mocha and a birthday cake pop. It’s the little things! 🥰 I also got to look at the GGB from afar.

Ordered some of our fave comfort foods. 2020 is winding down and I’m really hopeful for 2021! I’m currently listening to *NSync’s Christmas album. We’re planning on watching Bohemian Rhapsody before bed tonight. I also need to wrap some presents and send them on their way. Excited to wrap my family’s gifts too. The tree is still a little bare. 😬 And some packages will be arriving after Christmas. That’s expected.

The highlight of my day: my brwngrlz earrings arrived today! I’m totally going to rock them. Woo! 🌞

It’s going to be very busy these next few days, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m looking forward to cleaning, donating, and possibly posting some items online. That all depends on how productive I want to be. Lol!

Day 283.

Happy Sunday! It’s a new week and I’m ready. 🥰 These next few weeks are mine. I love that! I get to mellow out and just do my own thing. I’m adding more movies to my watch list. I also want to finish Becoming before January.

I still need to mail out cards and some gifts. It’ll all get done! I really didn’t do much this weekend. I’ve been playing a lot of Animal Crossing to pass the time. I found the recipe for a snowflake wall. I’m still without the other DIYs. I wish there was another way to collect these things. I have until 1/6/21 to find them all.

Loretta and I attended an online memorial for Amado. It was beautiful! I’m really glad we were able to share space with friends and community. What an intelligent and endearing soul. We’ll continue to carry on your legacy. Mabuhay Amado! ❤️

The Niners are officially out of the playoff picture. What a frustrating season! I had a lot of expectations for them, but things happen. Many familiar faces might not be with us next season. 😭😩💔 I’ll always cheer for them – the highs & lows!!

I’ve got a busy day tomorrow. PFTs, let’s do this! I’m a little nervous because it’s been a while. I hope I do alright.

Day 282.

Happy Saturday! It was a lazy one for me and I loved it.

I decided to make French toast, but I used almond milk this time around. It was okay. I definitely prefer regular milk. We’ve gotta get more groceries soon. After brunch, I washed dishes and helped decorate the tree. It’s finally up!

Animal Crossing update: I failed at making my second Snowboy. The tailor shop is now in its new location. I also moved the campsite. Still haven’t found holiday DIYs.

Little Mix has been on repeat. I miss Jesy so much! I’ll miss them being a quartet. 😭💗

I’ve gotta order our holiday dessert. And I finally got to try Stix today! The Combodog was so good. I had boba again. 🧋😋

We watched SNL at 8:30pm! It was really funny. Might rewatch it at 11:30pm.
