Day 233.

Happy Halloween! 🖤🧡🎃👻 It’s different this year, but that’s okay. We created our own fun! We watched Casper, #Alive, and we’re about to put on Halloweentown 2.

It was nice to be able to sleep in. I stayed up the night before.

I washed dishes. I didn’t do much else.

Animal Crossing update: Jack the Czar is in town! I got candy from my villagers and gave Jack his lollipops. I believe I got every DIY recipe and special holiday items. But after tomorrow – I wanna decorate for Christmas! In the game and in real life.

I’ve snacked on so much candy and junk. I’m so full. 😬😂🙃

We watched the live broadcast of SNL too. It was a great episode! 👍🏼

Day 232.

TGIF! I’m so happy it’s the weekend. I can finally sleep in and catch up on things on my to do list. 🙂

Work went well. Played some more badminton and played a lot of Halloween tunes. It was a good day! I also had my 2nd Covid-19 test done. Results should arrive in a matter of days.

Boba was my treat of the day. Strawberry matcha latte! So good. I think it’s one of my fave drinks now. 😋

Halloween weekend will consist of candy, movies, and football! The time change is on Sunday. We gain an hour. Woo!

Animal Crossing update: Must tidy up and figure out my costume. Really excited for the Halloween festivities.

I’ve been watching a lot of Dateline and 20/20. It’s all interesting, but sad. I hope the families find peace and closure.

I’m calling it a night soon. Want an early start tomorrow.

Day 231.

Happy Thursday! It’s almost the weekend. I can’t wait. The last few days have been tough. I just want all the candy right now. But I’ll be patient and wait for Saturday.

Work went well. Just had two students to supervise. As I’m adjusting to my ever evolving schedule, I’m getting the hang of it! The music helps in between breakout times.

Spam, eggs, and garlic rice for dinner. Hurrah! It’s been a while. Comfort food is the best.

I watched Dateline tonight. It was a really good episode. Now I’m watching NHK World Japan. My dream vacation! Someday I’ll get there. Maybe in a year or two.🤞🏼

Animal Crossing update: Halloween! I’ll tidy up the beach and some of the flowers tomorrow. I’m lacking energy at the moment.

Day 230.

I’m pretty tired today. I played badminton, basketball, and football at work. I’ve gotta work on my spiral! I forgot how fun badminton was. 🙂

I’m dealing with a lot of other stuff at the moment. I’m looking forward to the weekend – candy, junk food, Halloween, and the time change. Spooky! 👻

Animal Crossing update: Redd’s in town. Bought a painting to display at home. Woo! Finalizing my Halloween costume. I might just be a bunny or something.

I’ll just be focusing on football at the moment. Really glad that baseball is over and done with. Hopefully the Giants sign some key players. Rebuilding mode is tough, but I’m sticking with them! 🖤🧡

Just finished watching Holidate. I enjoyed it! Wish we could go back to the days of going to the mall, hanging out, going on dates, and without a mask. Sigh. 😢 Continue doing your part, please! Cases are rising again. It’s really disheartening.

Two more days of work. Friday should be interesting! 🙃

Day 229.

It’s Tuesday. I can’t say happy at the moment. 😂 Baseball. World Series. Snell shouldn’t have been pulled. The rivalry is still very real. I congratulated my boss. And I won’t say much more. #BeatLA

Today was a short work day. It was nice. I did deal with a kindergartener’s meltdown. Everything went smoothly once his brother showed up. Thank you! He’s new to me and vice versa. It’ll be like this on Tuesdays. The rest of the week is pretty much the same. I also got to catch up with my coworker. I miss hanging out after work.

I’m not in the best mood. I’m dealing with some pain. 😫 I really wish it was Friday tomorrow. Four more days until Halloween weekend! And the time change. I’m looking forward to that. 🎃

Animal Crossing update: I must clean the clutter. Haven’t gotten around to doing it. Must finish decorating for Halloween.

That was my Tuesday. I might watch a movie tonight. Maybe another Christmas one?! And I don’t have a pic to feature on this post. Didn’t take any today.

Day 228.

Happy Monday!

I’ve been feeling super tired. Not getting enough sleep last night could be a factor. I also dealt with the sun today and no cap. Photosensitivity is a pain! 😞 Btw maskne is real and I’m dealing with it. My skin is dry and irritated! I was able to shower after work and just lie down. Energy levels are low.

Work went well. Mondays are always tough. I had a 4-day weekend and that just came and went. Sighhh. The weekend will be here again soon enough.

I’m currently dealing with food coma. The nachos were legit. The churro was delicious and so was the tres leches slice of cake. 😍😋 I’m done for the night.

Animal Crossing update: Penelope is settled in and wandering the island. I’m still trying to figure out what I’ll be wearing for Halloween in the game. I’ve got a few more days to finalize. Should be fun!

America needs change. We are 8 days away from the election. VOTE!

Day 227.

Happy Sunday! The weekend came and went.

Good news all around – the Niners beat the Patriots!! Woo! But we dealt with some injuries. 😞 Sending well wishes to all. I watched some of Game 5. The Rays didn’t do very well. Game 6 is on Tuesday. Go Rays!

Time traveled for my turnips in Animal Crossing. I overslept. 😂

I took a nap after showering. Before I did that we went for a walk to get our Halloween candy ready for Saturday. We’re doing a movie day. Might dress up? Not sure yet. Or I could just wear some Disneyland ears.

It’s a busy week, but I must breathe. Everything will be okay.

I must send out my ballot too. Please vote! 🇺🇸 This election is so important. Our futures depend on it!!

The news of COVID-19 cases rising again in the states is disheartening. Global cases are rising too. 😭 Please continue to wear a mask to protect yourself and others, social distance, and do not attend big gatherings. We are still in the first wave. Doctors and medical professionals have been talking about this since March. It’s October!!! 💔

Day 226.

Happy Saturday! 😎

What an epic Game 4 of the World Series! I really thought the Rays were goners. OMG! So exciting. So thrilling! 🙂👍🏼 Series tied!!! Go Rays!!!! 🌟

My day was okay. I went to sleep pretty early. I did sleep in for a bit. I didn’t get much done. The weekend always does this to me. Lol. I did my laundry. That’s a win! 😊

Animal Crossing update: Penelope is moving in! I found her on a random island. I went through a few until I decided to ask her. Yay! She’s great.

We had Korean food for linner. We also ordered cookies and cupcakes for dessert. I made two smoothies. I needed the fruits and veggies. Balance!

That was my Saturday! Now I’m watching the news for sports highlights and SNL in a bit. Take care!

Day 225.

TGIF!!! It’s been a long week for me, so I’m really glad it’s the weekend.

I got to sleep in for a bit. Then I had my appointment with my therapist. It was nice to chat and catch up. Afterwards, I was free the rest of the day.

Highlight of the day: Boba Guys! Our cousin is back in town and he usually makes the trip. He was kind enough to pick up our orders. I tried the strawberry matcha latte with boba for the first time. It’s delicious! I’ll definitely be ordering it again.

Animal Crossing update: Tex has packed up and is leaving tomorrow. I’m hoping to find a new villager soon. All the best, Tex! He only stayed on the island for about three weeks.

Game 3 of the World Series was meh. Whatever happens, happens. Giants fan forever! 🖤🧡🖤🧡

I’m in the middle of watching A Princess for Christmas. It’s a really nice holiday movie. I watched Charming Christmas in the afternoon. The cheese is great. 😂🎄

Day 224.

It was a Happy Thursday for me! Hello!! 🙂

My day started at the dental clinic. I had three fillings to take care of and a new impression for my night guard. I’ve been clenching and grinding my teeth for almost a decade. Super important to have one fitted! I’m excited to get my new guard. Two weeks! Sitting in the chair was an adventure. They had a suction guard in my mouth. My jaw was tired by the end of it. Didn’t deal with a lot of pain. Super thankful for my dental student. A true professional! Thanks, M. 😄

Then before I even got in the chair, my boss sent me a text saying I didn’t need to come in since the only student on my roster was getting picked up early. Hurrah! Here’s to a lovely four day weekend. I’m going to take full advantage of it. I’m planning to clean, do my laundry, and study. I’ll also watch movies and the World Series. Go Rays!!!

It was a lovely afternoon at home. We had brunch and watched an episode of Unsolved Mysteries and Dark Tourist. Japan is still my dream vacation. I’ve been wanting to go since I was a kid. Must continue saving up and once this pandemic settles, I’m off!

I decided to nap since I got up really early. I woke up in time to tune in for the final presidential debate. Voting blue! If you have a moral compass, believe in equality, and justice for all – Vote Biden & Harris! America needs new leadership. People who can lead the way and will listen to Americans across the board. 2016 came and went. My fear was healthcare. Thankful to be in California where I’m taken care of for my preexisting conditions. What about my fellow Americans in other states?! It’s a terrifying thought. People losing their insurance in the middle of a pandemic. The monstrosity! People are voting early. I’ll be filling out my ballot this weekend. CHANGE!

Animal Crossing update: Tex is moving out. C.J. is on Mango buying our fish. Hurrah!

I’m planning to watch a holiday movie before bed. Halloween is practically here, but I love the holiday season!! The music does it for me. So great! 🎄
