Day 281.

My first day of Christmas break was wonderful. I was able to sleep in for a bit, but had to get up for my COVID test at the drive-thru site. Got my results a few hours ago: negative! 😄

Bought boba for the fam as a treat and we ordered lunch at one of our favorite restaurants. Yay!

Animal Crossing update: Made my first Snowboy and decided to move the tailors shop. Yay! Lots of changes on my island.

Afterwards, I watched Muriel’s Wedding with Mom. She loved the movie! It’s so funny and I love the cast. I’ve only seen it twice. I’ll have to watch it again very soon. I’m planning on watching more movies during break.

Got some goodies in the mail. Must write my Xmas cards and send them out soon. The latest will probably be Monday or Tuesday.

Currently watching The Life and Death of Princess Diana. I was fortunate enough to visit Kensington Palace last year. It was beautiful! Still one of the world’s greatest tragedies. RIP Princess Diana. 🤍

Day 280.

Hello Christmas break!!! Happy Thursday indeed! I was running a bit late since I decided to sleep in and mellow out before getting ready. People were so nice today. I got to take home some desserts and gifts. Feeling really blessed.

I decided to wear my parol earrings. So pretty! I didn’t get to wear them at all last year. I love them. 🌟 My group did pretty well today. It’s always nice when they’re on task. Highlight of my day was playing Kahoot! again. The drive home was peaceful. I’m just anxious about stupid things right now.

Animal Crossing update: still haven’t found holiday DIY recipes. Darn! I did sell most of my turnips today. Hurrah!!

Caught some of TNF. It was a good game!

I’m feeling tired again. I’m planning to sleep early since I have a COVID test scheduled for tomorrow. It’s an extra step for my appt on Monday. Hope it all goes well!

Day 279.

Happy Wednesday! I’ve got one more day and then it’s break. Today was trying due to my own personal struggles, but I made it! The pain is real though. 😩😭 At least it’s my last one of the year. Get what I’m hinting at? 🥴 Wore my Stoggles to work too. Love them!

I was really happy that my second to last Sanrio package was delivered today. Most of my gifts have been distributed! Hurrah. Now I just gotta take care of the fam. It’ll all get done. Must mail my holiday cards too!

My sleep has been up and down. I watched A California Christmas before bed. It was okay. Lolll. Super cheesy. I also watched some South Park and Family Matters. Good times!

Animal Crossing update: I bought more holiday attire. Went with the Santa hat and dress. Super cute! Would love another beanie. I finally got to talk to Bonbon. I really miss Goose! 😭 Spider bit me last night. I’ll eventually catch one.

We watched The Masked Singer finale. I knew 2/3 finalists. The winner was a plot twist for me. See ya again in the spring! That’ll be a while.

Day 278.

It wasn’t the happiest of Tuesdays for me. I’m still dealing with an upset stomach. I think I ate my food too fast. And the culprit is dairy! 😬😞 I hope to start feeling better tomorrow. I had soup and toast.

Work went well. It was a short day. I was able to buy myself some Gatorade and coconut water during my break.

I’ve got 2 more days!!! I can make it. Supposedly, there’s rain in the forecast. Eep! But I think it’s just in the evening.

Highlight of my day: purchasing the special vinyl edition of Confetti. I still miss Jesy a lot! I’m sure other Mixers feel the same way. 😭💔 Might get a tee next. Don’t have any Little Mix apparel.

Animal Crossing update: Turnip prices are still too low. Bonbon has officially moved in! Exciting times. I miss Goose, but I hope to see him again in the future.

Day 277.

The holiday countdown is on. Three more days! Happy Monday!! 😄

I’ve been cold for most of the day. I didn’t wear enough layers at work. I’m paying for it now. 🥶 Speaking of work, we’re now in new spaces. It might change come 2021, but I’ll take it for now. The hills are too much for me so I’m glad I can catch my breath.

I also distributed holiday gifts to my coworkers and boss! It always makes me happy. I love giving to my community.

I got home in time to join a Zoom meeting for Sacred Grief & The Divine Masculine. Glad I was able to attend! I learned some new knowledge. 💕

I’m pretty tired today since my sleep was disturbed. Ahh! I’m hoping to sleep early tonight. Before I fell asleep again, I played some Animal Crossing! I need to chop down some trees. Must find the snowballs! ⛄️ Goose has officially moved out. Bonbon will be moving in shortly.

Well, that was my day. I’m currently watching The Shot about the research and study of the COVID vaccine. Yay science!!!

Day 276.

Happy Sunday! It’s a new week and I’m so ready for holiday break. 😄 I can’t wait to just do my own thing. I’ve gotta study and focus on my class, but other than that I’ll be happy staying in.

Today is our Lola’s 91st Birthday as well as our cousin, Angelica’s 32nd! It’s so much fun celebrating them both. We were able to swing by our Tita’s house and drop off some drinks, flowers, and balloons. We didn’t stay for very long. We stayed outside too. Happy Birthday to them! We miss everyone. Thankfully we caught each other via FB chat. Great memories even if it was just for a little while to catch up.

We feasted when we got back. We ordered Jollibee and our Tita packed up some Filipino food to go. Everything was delicious! I love Filipino food. I still want to try making sapin sapin for either Christmas or NYE.

Niners lost. 😭💔 Just win the last three games. I’m asking for 2-1!!!

I got to do laundry, tidy up, and wrapped some Christmas gifts. I’m just bummed that one of my gifts won’t arrive in time. Hopefully it does! I really hope.

Lastly, I got to catch up with my BFFs! It’s so nice to hear each other out and laugh. So funny! Good times.

Day 275.

I love Saturdays!!! I got to sleep in and it was amazing. I woke up in time to greet the postman and retrieve our packages. Our Stoggles are finally here!!! I can’t wait to rock them on Monday. 😎🥽 Super cute and fashionable.

Rewatched Meet John Doe. Old movies are awesome! Before that I placed a delivery order for See’s. Christmas goodies for family, friends, and colleagues!! I love their chocolate. Their offerings are limited. I miss my faves – scotchmallow and scotch kisses. So good!

I took a nap afterwards. I needed to rest up before my community event at 5pm. It was a film screening of Hinga by Sammay and a community celebration followed after the Q&A from the cast. I’m so glad I made time to attend. I love supporting my FilAm community. ❤️

I spent about two hours editing pictures for my BFF. Her mom needs a 2×2 photo for work. It’s been a while since I edited. I kinda had to reteach myself. I’m currently using Affinity. I’ll get the hang of it again.

Just played some Animal Crossing and caught the last of Jeopardy. I gave away the last of my turnips to Penelope. My island is doing okay. I need to revamp some areas. Need to pay off my log staircase!!! I want it ready for Christmas.

Well, that was my day! Oh yeah, I drank some moscato and took half a shot for my Lola. It’s her birthday tomorrow as well as my cousin, Jekah. I miss our extended family! I can’t believe it’s been a year since we gathered for a huge celebration for Lola. Take me back to 2019!

Lastly, Happy Birthday to my friend, Romina!! I miss our college days. 💙💛

Day 274.

TGIF!!!!! I am screaming. We made it through such a trying week. I’m so proud of my community and my crew. We’ll get through this together. 💗

I had a decent night’s sleep. I did wake up before my alarm. I decided to just play Animal Crossing. It’s legit snowing now!!! I love it. So pretty. I haven’t made a snowman yet. I’m excited!! 😊

More Christmas presents have arrived for family, friends, and colleagues. I love gifting things!

We watched Dateline tonight. It was a good, but very sad report. Sigh. Tough to wrap my head around.

Anyway, it’s raining and it’s calming. I really need this weekend to decompress, reflect, and chill out. We are starting to heal. It’ll take time, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Cases are still surging in California. I’m waiting for my Stoggles. Here’s hoping it actually gets delivered tomorrow!! It was originally supposed to arrive today.

Day 273.

Happy Thursday! It’s been a heavy and trying week, but I’m getting by. I just need to continue processing. I’m slowly getting to the anger phase. I’m just disappointed, sad, and betrayed. How can you trust again after all of this? 😭💔

There were schedule changes at work. We were supposed to have an assigned classroom, but it turns out that that won’t happen until tomorrow. It was exhausting pushing a cart up San Francisco hills. Whew! I got through it. 😬🙃

We had In-N-Out for dinner! I had a hamburger with grilled onions and animal style fries. So good!!!

Some of my Christmas presents for family have arrived. Woo!!

Animal Crossing update: Speaking of Christmas – the first snow is here! Mango is looking great. I can’t wait until the entire island is covered in snow.

Day 272.

I’m blasting Christmas music as I blog. I love it so much! I’m currently playing One I’ve Been Missing by Little Mix. 💗

Today was a pretty good one. My head and heart still hurt, but I’ll get through this rough patch. The series of events are just unfortunate. It makes me upset just thinking about it.

I’m finalizing Christmas presents for family, friends, and colleagues! I love gifting things. It’s been an up & down year, but we’re all making the best of it.

Highlights of my day: Seeing the Christmas lights in Nob Hill. So cool! I had a later break today so it was nice to see and walk around.🎄 And Mom made chicken adobo for dinner!! So good. 😋

Animal Crossing update: Flick is back on my island. I’ll sell him some bugs before bed. I sold some turnips and bought a beanie.
