Day 259.

Happy Turkey Day! 🦃🧡 It was a different kind of celebration, but I’m so thankful for everything. 2020’s been a trying year, but I made the most of it. I’m planning to finish strong! I’m blessed with family, friends, shelter, food, and so much more. It really is all about the little things. Perspective. I hope everyone had a nice holiday!! I also wanted to acknowledge the Ohlone tribe – the Indigenous people of the SF Bay Area. ❤️

The sister and I went ham in the kitchen. We made oven baked mac & cheese, heated up the Omaha Steaks thanksgiving package, finally made sweet potatoes with marshmallows, and so much dessert! I’m stuffed. We’ll be cooking the steak tomorrow. Didn’t get a chance to tackle it today. Leftovers too!

Animal Crossing update: Turkey Day with Franklin was a lot of fun! I got all the items and the DIY recipes. It took a while, but my villagers pulled through with their trades. I fished for a while. 😂 Good times. Back to a normal day tomorrow. 🍁

I’ve been listening to so much Little Mix and Ari too. I ordered the signed Stuck With U CD a few months ago. Turns out the signatures are auto penned. 😦 Found out on Twitter. Haven’t received mine yet, but I know people aren’t happy. Yeesh!

Might look into some Black Friday sales, but I’m pretty picky when it comes to certain items. We’ll see.

I’m pretty tired. But I’m planning to watch the last epi of The Queen’s Gambit before I sleep tonight. Woo!

Lastly, our cousin gave birth to her son today! We’re aunties again. 💗 So exciting! I hope we can see everyone soon…maybe 2022?!

Day 258.

It’s Wednesday! Happy Turkey Eve!! 🙂 There’s so much to prep tomorrow so I’m planning to sleep earlier than usual.

I spent most of my day watching TV. I’ve got two episodes left of The Queen’s Gambit. I’m honestly hooked! I took a long nap after lunch. It was much needed.

Animal Crossing update: I got to tidy up part of my island! Win!! Looking forward to the holiday festivities tomorrow. 🦃🍴Should be a lot of fun.

I’ve been listening to a lot of music lately. It’s a mix of holiday, contemporary, and the Y2K era!! I’ve played my uke two days in a row. I’m learning some new songs.

This time of year is about being with family and friends, but it’s super important to celebrate at home. 2020 has been very different, but may our actions now preserve holidays and celebrations for the future! We can do it!!! 😷❤️ Be mindful of our essential workers too – we owe them so much!

Day 257.

Happy Tuesday! 😄 I stayed up watching The Queen’s Gambit. I’m hooked! Beth is such a fierce character. She’s a badass!

I got through some chores today. We’re getting the house ready for Christmas too. Time to put up decorations! It’s always so much fun putting up the tree.

I even got a chance to restart Becoming. My goal is to take it slow during break. I feel like I rush my self during a work week. It’s important to take your time. We’re all works in progress! I hope to finish the book by 2021.

I’m really missing family and friends, but it’s best to keep our distance and catch up online. The news is overwhelming over here in California. We’ve gotta buckle down and get this virus under control.

Animal Crossing update: I’m starting to sell the random items that I dumped on my island. I’m also putting things in storage. CJ is in town! He’s a lot of fun. Must sell him more fish.

I’ve been feeling quite tired and a little off. I just hope it’s fatigue. I’m not eating too much junk nowadays. I’m being super mindful of what I put in my body.

Day 255.

Happy Sunday! I’m taking it easy this week. It’s nice to have time to myself. I plan on reading, watching movies, and getting back to being creative. ☺️

I decided to treat myself and the family to dessert. I love hojicha! So I bought soft serve with boba and mochi. Delicious!!! I’ll buy it again in December. I also got a hojicha latte. It’s that good!!!

I finished Dash & Lily early this morning. I loved it! I want to rewatch it. It’s so cute. The holiday season is great. We plan on decorating this week.

Animal Crossing update: I’m tidying up the island. I’m selling and storing the items that are out of season. Must get ready for the holidays! I just want everything to look great.

Holiday music is already on repeat! I’ve been playing it since the summer. I love Christmas!!!

I’ve been feeling tired, so I’m trying to conserve my energy. I look forward to my free time. Happy week to all! Take care. Please stay home and continue making good choices. 😷❤️

Day 254.

Happy Saturday! I’ll be dealing with some pain and discomfort for the next few days. Hint hint! Lol. Glad it’s here now. Thanksgiving will be a breeze. 😎

I stayed up watching Dash & Lily. I’m really enjoying it! I love the main characters and the music. I’m happy it’s the holiday season.

Day 1 of holiday break. I’m taking it easy. I’m nourishing myself. Everything in moderation – especially my hot Cheetos. 🙃 I’m planning to have a slice of pumpkin spice cheesecake. I’m really enjoying sweets at the moment.

Animal Crossing update: I’ve gotta purchase the new looks and reactions with my NMT. I learned how to make a grass skirt today. And I’m real glad I sold my turnips! Btw the new update deters time travel. I only did that a few times. Guilty! It was for Daisy Mae. 💗

I’m hoping to be more productive tomorrow, but no promises. It’s the weekend!!

Sanrio is still my ultimate fave! It’s always stayed with me. I also really adore Sailor Moon and Nintendo. Kawaii things make me happy!

Day 244.

Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all the men and women who have served and to those still serving. 🇺🇸❤️

It’s Wednesday! I’m looking forward to the weekend. I feel pretty run down already. It was just my coworker and I today. Might be us until the end of the week. Sending well wishes to our boss!

Gotta make a phone call in the morning about my dental insurance. I slept in so I didn’t have the time. Here’s hoping I get up when my alarm goes off.

Animal Crossing update: Bob has moved in! He seems like a lot of fun. I’ll stop by tomorrow when he’s settled in. 🙂

I plan to watch movies and catch up on my shows this weekend! My destressor tonight was watching The Masked Singer and I Can See Your Voice. Always entertaining! Jesse McCartney was the guest judge on ICSYV. Beautiful Soul!!! 💕

Day 239.

TGIF! I was waiting for rain and it never came. I wore my Docs for nothing. I’m still resting my feet.

Work went well. We had a different schedule due to a school event upstairs. The good news was I didn’t have to keep going up and down the hill. 👍🏼 I bought some snacks during my break. I need the comfort food right now. We are waiting for the final election results, but states are still counting. 🙃 I’m hopeful. 💙

Animal Crossing update: My island is doing fine. Flick is in town. I should probably try to sell him some bugs before bed.

I’m looking forward to the weekend! I plan to sleep in, fold my laundry, and organize my desk. 💕 I already watched a holiday movie on my to watch list – Operation Christmas Drop. It was pretty good.

Day 233.

Happy Halloween! 🖤🧡🎃👻 It’s different this year, but that’s okay. We created our own fun! We watched Casper, #Alive, and we’re about to put on Halloweentown 2.

It was nice to be able to sleep in. I stayed up the night before.

I washed dishes. I didn’t do much else.

Animal Crossing update: Jack the Czar is in town! I got candy from my villagers and gave Jack his lollipops. I believe I got every DIY recipe and special holiday items. But after tomorrow – I wanna decorate for Christmas! In the game and in real life.

I’ve snacked on so much candy and junk. I’m so full. 😬😂🙃

We watched the live broadcast of SNL too. It was a great episode! 👍🏼

Day 230.

I’m pretty tired today. I played badminton, basketball, and football at work. I’ve gotta work on my spiral! I forgot how fun badminton was. 🙂

I’m dealing with a lot of other stuff at the moment. I’m looking forward to the weekend – candy, junk food, Halloween, and the time change. Spooky! 👻

Animal Crossing update: Redd’s in town. Bought a painting to display at home. Woo! Finalizing my Halloween costume. I might just be a bunny or something.

I’ll just be focusing on football at the moment. Really glad that baseball is over and done with. Hopefully the Giants sign some key players. Rebuilding mode is tough, but I’m sticking with them! 🖤🧡

Just finished watching Holidate. I enjoyed it! Wish we could go back to the days of going to the mall, hanging out, going on dates, and without a mask. Sigh. 😢 Continue doing your part, please! Cases are rising again. It’s really disheartening.

Two more days of work. Friday should be interesting! 🙃

Day 225.

TGIF!!! It’s been a long week for me, so I’m really glad it’s the weekend.

I got to sleep in for a bit. Then I had my appointment with my therapist. It was nice to chat and catch up. Afterwards, I was free the rest of the day.

Highlight of the day: Boba Guys! Our cousin is back in town and he usually makes the trip. He was kind enough to pick up our orders. I tried the strawberry matcha latte with boba for the first time. It’s delicious! I’ll definitely be ordering it again.

Animal Crossing update: Tex has packed up and is leaving tomorrow. I’m hoping to find a new villager soon. All the best, Tex! He only stayed on the island for about three weeks.

Game 3 of the World Series was meh. Whatever happens, happens. Giants fan forever! 🖤🧡🖤🧡

I’m in the middle of watching A Princess for Christmas. It’s a really nice holiday movie. I watched Charming Christmas in the afternoon. The cheese is great. 😂🎄
