Little Mix. 💗

They’re officially on hiatus and I’m feeling a lot of things. I’m sad, but looking forward to their solo careers! I wish Jade, Leigh-Anne, and Perrie all the best. I hope they crush it!!! 🥰

I set my alarm for 11:20am yesterday. I knew I had to be up by noon. They were running fashionably late. Once the global stream started, I was ecstatic! I never got to see them live so this was the next best thing. Part of me wanted to fly to London, but I had to weigh out my options. And unfortunately I didn’t have the budget to fly. So however long this hiatus lasts, I’ll be ready!!! Planning to save now so I can hopefully see them in 2-3 years.

They sang all of our faves. I watched the stream with my twin sis! We’ve been fans since the start. I lost it during Between Us and Secret Love Song. They’re role models on what it means to be an ally and beyond. They’ve changed my life in so many ways. When I listen to their music I feel like a brand new person. Confident and unstoppable! 💜 A lot has changed for me in the last decade and my only hope is that I continue to grow and carve out my own path.

I already miss them so much! But here’s to the next 10 years. Little Mix Forever! I love y’all to pieces. Would be cool to eventually meet all of them in the future. Until then, I’ll plan for our next trip to London. Covid is still very real so it’s best to be prepared in my case.

So here’s my vow
Starting from here and now
Nothing comes between us
Nothing comes between us
I swear that we won’t lose this thing we found
‘Cause love will never leave us
Nothing comes between us, between us
🦋

Thank you for the music, Little Mix! Continue to shine.✨

Good night.

Day 293.

Happy Wednesday! 💕

  • I stayed up watching Bridgerton. I’m super invested now! I’m hoping to finish it before the end of the week. 😍🥰 Simon and Daphne. Woooow!!!
  • I took good care of my Tamagotchi today. Hurrah! Now it’s asleep.
  • Played Animal Crossing for just a bit. I make sure the villagers are taken care of daily.
  • Finally got around to helping Bianca transfer her tour pics from last year. So many great shots!
  • My Little Mix Confetti tee arrived today! I want to wear it tomorrow for NYE. I’d like to wear some nice earrings and do my makeup.
  • I spent part of my day watching old game shows with Mom. Good times!
  • I was on social media sparingly today. Trying not to be on it all the time.
  • Lastly, finally redeemed my digital movie code for Crazy Rich Asians.
  • I want to watch Last Christmas before I sleep.

Hope y’all had a nice one! Take care and be safe.

Good night.

Day 192.

I’m kinda feeling better today. Happy Sunday! It’s a new week and I’m looking forward to what it may bring. I watched Last Christmas again before bed. I can’t remember if it’s my 5th or 6th time watching. And I was at Covent Garden around where they filmed. So cool!

I was pretty tired again. I napped twice. I feel pretty energized since I’m tidying up my room. I’m putting away my luggage, my shoe rack, and I might be returning some things I purchased.

Caught some of the Niners game via their app. So many injuries. 😭😫💔 Bosa looks out for the rest of the season. Thomas might be too. Why?! The turf sucks at MetLife. We play there again next week vs. the Giants.

The Giants beat the A’s. No sweep! 🖤🧡🎃 Eight games remaining. We just need to win 5 to get into the postseason. Who knows?!

I played my uke. Felt like forever. I just needed music to help me feel better. Still in a funk. That’s the truth.

Animal Crossing update: finally paid off my loan! Decided to pull from my savings. Woo!! Truffles has officially moved in. She’s unboxing things, but it’s nice to have a new villager. 🙂

I’m just listening to music while I put things away. I have so much makeup. I put some on at home because why not?! 😊 It’s always fun.

That was my Sunday. I plan on studying a bit tonight. Progress!!

Take care and good night.

Day 94.

Now playing: 2 Become 1 – Spice Girls

I miss London so much! 🇬🇧 This time last year I was at Wembley with Mom and the sisters. Looking back, I’m very grateful we were able to make the trip to see The Spice Girls. It was a childhood dream come true. I almost didn’t go due to my portable oxygen concentrator fiasco, but I made it! 🙂 The night was nostalgic and it was perfect. I only wish Victoria/Posh Spice was there to complete the group. Maybe in the future? We’ll see. There are whispers that they’d like to tour again. If so, I’ll be there! ❤

Travel dreams are currently on hold due to the pandemic. Please be safe out there! This virus isn’t a hoax.

Anyway I have so many pictures from that trip that I still need to print out and archive. When my phone updated a few days ago, I freaked out a bit. I thought I lost it all. So many memories. Thankfully, my phone was just updating and it all turned up again.

I’ll be back for you, London! Still so many things to cross off the bucket list there. I need another week or two.

Day 27.

I was restless for most of the day. My anxiety was up there. I eventually fell asleep for a few hours, which was nice. ☺️

My uke is here! I won’t be able to unbox it until tomorrow. 24 hour rule for cardboard boxes. Better to be overly cautious than not.

Our aunt has officially tested positive for Covid-19. I sent her a message this afternoon and she says she’s doing okay. She’s a nurse so she was bound to be exposed to it. Her entire household has to be tested. I’m thinking of everyone over there, especially our Lola (grandma) and uncle. I pray that they’re okay.

I got to chat with Brea this afternoon via text. It’s always nice to catch up with a friend. I love to laugh! Haha.

British goodies have been unboxed. I’m so happy! Reminds me of our London tour. I miss it so much.

That was my day. Continuing to wish you all well. Be safe! ❤️

Good night.

London 2019-2020.

I really miss London right now. I had so much fun! And we didn’t get to fully do everything on our list. I’d love to return in a few years time. Plenty of friends over there.

I miss the hustle and bustle of the city. I miss the snacks especially the crisps and chocolate. Bangers and mash too!

I miss traveling – domestic and international. I’ll continue to wait, but adventure is out there. I’ll take advantage of adventure any day. Once we all get through this pandemic, I won’t waste a day.

Time to sleep. I’ve been a night owl all week. That’s gotta change. And I have so many pics from this tour I haven’t been able to upload and share. Sit tight.

Peace and love.

Saturday, December 28, 2019.

We landed in London at about 10:30am. Getting off the plane took a while because we had to take shuttle busses to the terminal. We eventually got off at about 11ish. Scanned our passports at the e-gates. We had to use the bathrooms to freshen up + go to baggage claim.

Once all of that was done, we waited around for our driver to take us to the hotel. We didn’t realize we were an hour away, so we tried to take a nap in the car. London traffic is busy, just like any major city. We passed through Kensington and many notable places in London. It was cold. But we were excited!

We finally get to our destination. We met our tour director, Kay. She’s Scottish. Super friendly! We checked in with our tour packets in hand. Lil’s room was ready before ours was (we had to wait about 2 hours) so we accompanied her and hung out. We were watching a British cooking show on tv. Made me hungry.

Afterwards, we decided to go for a snack run. We needed water, soda, crisps, and chocolate. Pretty much junk food. Haha. We went to Tesco which was a short walk from the hotel. Tower Bridge was very close to us so we walked over.

At this point, I was ecstatic to just be in London again. I didn’t sleep much. We had a welcome meeting and dinner to meet our tour group in the evening.

Once we returned to the hotel, our room was finally ready! So juiced to be able to unpack and relax for a bit before meeting new folks. We get a knock at the door and it’s Laura! She hands us our customized scarves with our names on it. Very nice surprise. Here are a few shots from that day. I’ve got more to sort through. Stay tuned for my next entry. 🙂

December 27, 2019.

I’ll do my best to remember everything from beginning to end on our tour. This is day one, our overnight flight to London.

I was anxious and excited. I was fully packed that morning. I forgot a few things, but that was fine. Our brother drove us to the airport (thank you!) and we were on our way. Checking in took a while, especially because of my POC (portable oxygen concentrator). I need it to fly due to my medical condition. But once we got to the front, it went well. We met up with Lil once we got through security. We had some time to eat a snack before boarding + use the bathroom. Before heading over to our gate, we also bought some snacks.

Time to board!

We were in the 42nd row, which was great because we weren’t too far from the toilets. We all had space in the overhead bins and settled in just nicely. I kept myself busy watching the live action Aladdin, Yesterday, & Where’d You Go, Bernadette? Aladdin was my favorite. We were served dinner and then we tried to sleep. I didn’t get much sleep to be honest. Sleeping upright is quite difficult. I just rested my eyes for most of the flight.

10.5 hours later – hello London! 🙂

Day two of this tour will follow shortly.

Home.

I’ve been awake since 7am PST, but my body is still in GMT.

London was so much fun. I was able to see new sites, make friends, and learn history. It’ll be a few years until I return again.

One of my favorite memories was walking around Kensington Palace and reading about Queen Victoria. We also had afternoon tea in the Pavilion. Some of the ladies from the group wore tiaras to tea. I was one of them 👸🏻

Now it’s back to reality. There’s so much to do in this new year, but a day at a time.

Until then I’m going to attempt to sleep. More updates eventually. Bye!

b

London Calling.

It’s finally here! We’ve been planning this trip for two years. I’m anxious and excited, but looking forward to all the new adventures and memories to be made with friends – new & old. ❤️

Almost done packing. It’s always the little things that need to be completed. Overall, I’m ready!

I’ll blog out there when I’m able. Yay!!!

See you soon, London! 🙂🇬🇧
