Day 224.

It was a Happy Thursday for me! Hello!! 🙂

My day started at the dental clinic. I had three fillings to take care of and a new impression for my night guard. I’ve been clenching and grinding my teeth for almost a decade. Super important to have one fitted! I’m excited to get my new guard. Two weeks! Sitting in the chair was an adventure. They had a suction guard in my mouth. My jaw was tired by the end of it. Didn’t deal with a lot of pain. Super thankful for my dental student. A true professional! Thanks, M. 😄

Then before I even got in the chair, my boss sent me a text saying I didn’t need to come in since the only student on my roster was getting picked up early. Hurrah! Here’s to a lovely four day weekend. I’m going to take full advantage of it. I’m planning to clean, do my laundry, and study. I’ll also watch movies and the World Series. Go Rays!!!

It was a lovely afternoon at home. We had brunch and watched an episode of Unsolved Mysteries and Dark Tourist. Japan is still my dream vacation. I’ve been wanting to go since I was a kid. Must continue saving up and once this pandemic settles, I’m off!

I decided to nap since I got up really early. I woke up in time to tune in for the final presidential debate. Voting blue! If you have a moral compass, believe in equality, and justice for all – Vote Biden & Harris! America needs new leadership. People who can lead the way and will listen to Americans across the board. 2016 came and went. My fear was healthcare. Thankful to be in California where I’m taken care of for my preexisting conditions. What about my fellow Americans in other states?! It’s a terrifying thought. People losing their insurance in the middle of a pandemic. The monstrosity! People are voting early. I’ll be filling out my ballot this weekend. CHANGE!

Animal Crossing update: Tex is moving out. C.J. is on Mango buying our fish. Hurrah!

I’m planning to watch a holiday movie before bed. Halloween is practically here, but I love the holiday season!! The music does it for me. So great! 🎄

Day 223.

Happy Wednesday! 😄

It was a much slower day for me. I like taking my time in the morning. Everything went well today. And for the most part, the students don’t give me a difficult time. I’ve noticed that everyone has to be louder while wearing a mask. I only wear my face shield indoors. It’s nice being able to take it off when I’m outdoors.

My aunt gave me a ride home again so that’s always nice. I can’t rely on ride shares or public transit this year. My driving lesson will be here soon enough. I’m actually pretty juiced.

I ate dinner early. I was able to take home a burger from work. It was good! And that’s the nice thing about lunch – everything is in a takeout box.

I watched Game 2 of the World Series. I was a bit superstitious at first, but we eventually tuned in once my brother got home from work. The Rays looked dominant. Very different vibe from Game 1. Snell and Lowe stood out to me. Go Rays! ✨

Animal Crossing update: someone was at the campsite. I’ve passed on inviting them to Mango. I might reconsider. My island needs work, but I haven’t had much time.

We also watched Unsolved Mysteries. The story was based in Oslo, Norway. I’m still spooked! 😱👻 But it was such a fascinating story.

Early day for me tomorrow, so I’ll be sleeping soon. I’m ready for the dentist again! Bring it.

Day 222.

How is it already Tuesday?! 🙃 I had the day off and that’s only because I didn’t have a student on my roster. Back to work tomorrow.

I’m so sleepy right now. I’m also a little anxious because of some health stuff. 😢 I hope I’ll be okay. I took a nap earlier, but I’m planning to sleep soon.

I stayed up watching Unsolved Mysteries s2 and Just Like Heaven on demand. UM was so eerie. It was about a woman in Oslo, Norway. Check it out if you’re into mystery and crime. I was spooked after watching. I watched another epi in the afternoon with my sisters. That one was super interesting too. The story took place in Michigan.

Animal Crossing update: I was supposed to sell some turnips, but I forgot. Flick is visiting.

I’ve got two more days of work left. I also have my dental appointment on Thursday. Busy week is almost over. I can get through this.

I’ll mention the World Series. The Rays weren’t too hot. It’s only Game 1. I hope the rest of the series picks up. But for now I want them to tie it. Go Rays!

Day 221.

Happy Monday! 🙂

It was a busy day for me. Everything important that I had to take care of before work took place in the morning. The nasal swab for COVID-19 wasn’t too bad. I was getting anxiety over it. Lol. They also swabbed the back of my throat. I should get my results in a day or so. I went to the lab right after. I was anticipating a larger crowd, but it calmed down once I got there. Treated myself to a PSL and two vanilla scones. 😌

Once I got home I was able to decompress a bit before getting ready for work. Time moves too quickly nowadays! I met the new student. He’s cool. My pod is great! We’re pretty small right now, but that could change. The 2nd graders make me laugh with their jokes and silliness. Overall it was a good day with them. The con of my day was getting my finger stuck in the wipe dispenser. It hurt. Ahh!

I had Chinese food waiting for me once I got home and my fave snacks. Watched MNF. Yay! I showered after dinner and took a much needed nap. I just woke up so I could type this.

Animal Crossing update: I played a bit before bed. I had a hard time falling asleep.

I’m off tomorrow since I don’t have a student on my roster. This is temporary, but I’ll take it for now.

I might sleep again or I might watch a show or movie. That was my day! I hope y’all had a nice one. Take care.

Day 220.

Happy Sunday! 😎 I stayed up watching Ever After. It’s been a while. Great movie.

Niners win!!! ❤️💛 Tony Dungy, you’re the man for picking us to get the W. 🙂 Jimmy was back in his usual form. Everyone did awesome!!

All I have to say about baseball is Go Rays! 😄

It’s a new week and I’m still adjusting. I’ve also got a dentist appointment on Thursday. The good news is I’m off on Friday. Yay!!! Breathe. I can do this.

Animal Crossing update: I got my turnips at 6am. Lol. And then I fell asleep. My island is alright. Still putting up Halloween decor.

Day 219.

Happy Saturday! 💜

Yesterday wore me out. My entire body was sore. I’m officially back at work! I fell asleep almost instantaneously. Got about 10 hours. I did nap in the middle of the day. Much needed.

It was another warm day in the city. I spent it indoors. We ordered boba milk tea and slush to keep cool. 🥵

The NLCS is tied up. I hope the Braves show up tomorrow. Yeesh. The Rays won tonight! I’m excited for them. Congrats!!!

Let me express my love for Sanrio again. They’re the best! 💗

I was proactive yesterday and today to find a driving instructor. I’m proud to report that I’ve signed up for two lessons in November. I’m looking forward to conquering my fear and anxiety behind the wheel. Woo! I want my independence. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the driving school I found.

Animal Crossing update: I’m trying to clean up my flowers. Not sure what to do with them. Lol. I gave up halfway. I’ll try again tomorrow.

Planning to watch a movie tonight. Not sure what.

Day 218.

TGIF! My day was super busy and I’m not sure if I completed everything that my doctors requested. 😬 I was late and they almost didn’t take me. I hate being tardy. 😱 If I have to go back, I’ll schedule another appointment.

It was an odd day. I didn’t sleep very well because I was anxious for my first day back at work. It went well btw! Everything is different, but we gotta adapt. I’m sure I’ll have it down by next week. Wearing masks and a face shield is a trip, but it’s so important. Especially in my case! 😷

Thankful I got a ride to and from work today. I’m trying to figure out my driving schedule and getting a few lessons in to regain my confidence. The accident in 2018 made me more scared to be behind the wheel.

Animal Crossing update: Wart Jr. is moving in and Kidd has moved out. I love welcoming new villagers! 🙂 Hoping to fix up my island this weekend.

I don’t even want to talk about baseball right now. The teams I’m cheering for weren’t clutch. Ugh! Hopefully it’s a better day tomorrow! 🖤🧡

I’m glad it’s the weekend. I can recharge! I’m looking forward to sleeping in. 😄

Day 217.

Happy Thursday! 🧡

Wishing my sister a very Happy 25th Birthday!!!! Where did the years go? It was a day well spent. We watched Beauty and the Beast, drank white claws, ate gummy candy, popcorn, and chips. Perfect way to start the day and then we went to sleep.

I slept in and didn’t get up until 1:45pm. It was all good timing since I was waiting for a call. Afterwards, I played more Animal Crossing. Officially at 280 hours! I’ll be racking up more hours this weekend. Woo!

Back to work for me tomorrow. I also have an appointment in the morning. My routine is back!

Enjoyed the NLCS tonight. 😎 The ALCS was mehhh. Come on, Rays!

Highlight of the day was visiting our family. It was a quick visit, but it’s always nice to see them especially our Lola. We miss her! She’s doing well. ❤️

Day 216.

Happy Wednesday! My day was super chill. I didn’t do much other than take a call from my boss to touch base for my first day this Friday! He’ll walk me through it. I’m still anxious, but excited.

I took a nap. Had to after seeing the score. The NLCS and ALCS weren’t so good today. 😒 Come on, Braves! Rays too. Let’s goooo!!!

I commented on Ivan Hall’s IG. I’m rooting for him! I usually don’t watch The Bachelorette or the Bachelor, but I might have to for this cycle. 🇵🇭❤️

Animal Crossing update: Redd stopped by today. Bought another painting! I talked to all of my villagers today. I made the rounds. I got some new DIY recipes too.

Tried my bow bands on. It suits my new cut! I love wearing them even if it is just at home.

I was supposed to study tonight, but I might just save it for tomorrow. But it’ll be busy since it’s our sister’s birthday!!! 💗

Day 215.

Happy Tuesday! 😎

I’ve been so tired today. I fought off my nap. I decided to tune in and watch both the NLCS and ALCS. The teams I’m rooting for won tonight! 🙏🏼 YAAASSS! Former Giants on the Braves and I really like Tampa Bay.

Dinner was so good tonight. We had Chicken Alfredo and garlic bread. I helped with dinner yesterday so I got to chill out. Snickers ice cream bars are the best. It’s been my fave since I was a kid. ❤️

Animal Crossing update: my island is doing okay. I’m trying to log 280 hours. Still working on it. It was a mellow day. Nothing too exciting. I’m waiting for Redd to stop by again.

It was pretty warm today. It’ll be nice again for a few more days. The nights are getting colder. I welcome Fall with open arms! I love beanies and scarves.

Hard to believe I’ll be back at work on Friday! Touching base with the boss tomorrow morning. Still a little anxious, but I’ll be okay. Must practice driving. Might have to rely on rides from family for the next week or two.

I already miss basketball. Baseball is winding down. I hope the Niners do better! I know they can.
