BFFs.

This photo was taken on July 21, 2017. I had an awesome Japanese curry dinner before dessert of course. I needed some quality time with my best gals: my twin sister and our best friend since elementary school. B + J, y’all are da best! 💕

Venting really helps. Sometimes I tend to bottle my emotions up. Whenever that happens, it’s frustrating. But when I get the chance to let it all out, it’s the greatest feeling. We talked about everything. So fun!!

The funniest memory from that night was rushing our dinner to get dessert. We had about 15 minutes to walk across the other mall. Very short distance, but the line was decent. Nothing too unbearable. The taiyaki is from Uji Time. There’s red bean filling at the bottom! I loved it. I also picked matcha tea & black sesame. Absolutely delicious combo. One of my favorite dessert places in the city. At least top ten. 🙂

More entries to write. Bear with me.

Good night.

Napa Valley Wine Tour.

Napa Valley! I was there with my college friends – Dania & Mari via the Napa Valley Wine Country Tours on 7/15. Pretty legit. 🙂

The first stop was the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a beautiful day, but Karl the fog was still sticking around. Beautiful views. I love my city! We ended up at four wineries. Two in Sonoma and two in Napa.

1. Jacuzzi Family Vineyards

2. Larson Family Winery

3. Kieu Hoang Winery

4. Madonna Estate

I did the wine tasting for all of them. Prices are reasonable ranging from $10-$20. I’m a big fan of dessert wines! Sweet is the way to go for me. My favorites would have to be Jacuzzi and Larson from that day. Very accommodating and super friendly.

We spent a good 8 hours up north before we headed back to the city. It was a wonderful time getting to catch up with my college friends. It’s been so long. We talked about everything! I do get nostalgic a lot of the time because college was so much fun. People really do make the experience.

The following day, we decided to grab brunch before Mari headed home. We went to Breakfast at Tiffany’s in the Excelsior. I had the corned beef hash Benedict. Absolutely amazing. I’ll definitely be back for that.

One Love Manchester.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Such a beautiful rendition. What a voice.

I was so glad to watch this on TV! Thank you, Ariana. And to those who lost their lives that night, rest in peace. 💜

“Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder and to live more kindly and generously than we did before.”

Ariana Grande

Party of five.

Netflix is keeping me company. I really love the show so far! Better late than never. 🙂

SF was in the middle of a heat wave. Thankfully, it’ll be cooler today. I think a comfy 72.

Lots to think about. I’ll figure it out. When there’s a will, there’s a way.

And the Giants beat the Dodgers 4-1. Woo!!! Extra inning magic for us. I’m really glad baseball is back.

Must start blogging again. I have a lot to write about since I finally have time to think. Well, good night.

Current Faves.

I wanted to start documenting my favorites. I think it’d be a nice way to look back on the year. 🙂

Music: Alicia Keys, Yuna, & Tori Kelly

That’s all I can come up with at the moment.

Women’s March 2017.

This post is dedicated to all of the strong womyn that I know. To those who work tirelessly to have our voices heard. Thank you. I see you and I appreciate you.

I was unable to march this past Saturday due to work, but know my heart and soul were with all of y’all. Friends from the SF Bay Area were marching locally and a friend of mine was in Washington, D.C. with her contingent. Shout out to Claudia! ❤

It doesn’t end with the march. We must continue to make progress – no matter how big or small. I’ll do my best to fight.

Yes, we can.

Some thoughts.

I’m so glad the weekend came and went. I’m pretty exhausted. I had a good amount of catch up time with friends. It was great!

  • Friday, 1/13/17: Had dinner with C & C, watched tv, made cookies, and exchanged stories.
  • Saturday, 1/14/17: Watched Hidden Figures with the BFFs. SO GOOD. I LOVED IT! Glen Powell. YESSS.

No work tomorrow. YAY! I can sleep in and hopefully put my IKEA storage closet together. Woo.

I’m brainstorming blog entries. I want to mix it up. I’m thinking of typing up an empties post. It’s a big deal in the lifestyle and beauty world. Must take more photos. MUST.

Well, that’s all I have.
