MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: FEBRUARY 5-11, 2018.

My week was awesome!!! I hung out with friends, went to Giants Fanfest for the first time in almost a decade (what?!!!), and a second visit to the Color Factory with the sisters.

It was quite busy, but I don’t mind. No rest for the weary. πŸ˜›

Here’s my fun filled week. Enjoy!

Still awake.

Yo!

It’s officially the weekend. πŸ™‚ I was catching up on s4 of Broad City. I’m only 4 episodes in right now. So far, I like it!

Just reminiscing for a bit. I just recall the fashion in high school – polo shirts tied up with rubber bands from behind, velour, puffed up shoes, and moccasins to name a few. I also recall my not so nice crushes.

I can just remember how terrible these “crushes” were to me. Take this one guy. Let’s call him T. T found out during track practice that I liked him. He acted like a jerk the entire time. I never confronted him about it, but it was awkward af. Especially when you have all of these mutual friends on the team. I never tried to clear the air. I was just mortified. And to make it more awkward, he asked this other girl on the track team to prom. I was a bit πŸ’”. Fast forward a few years later, I see him again at community college. I said hello and that was it. I’ve never seen or spoke to him again. Glad it worked out that way. #bye

I was super insecure in high school. I never felt like I was good enough. And even in the present day, I still kinda feel that way from time to time. BUT I’m still learning & growing. There’s so much more to do and see. I’m excited for the future! I must always treat myself well. πŸ‘‘

So this is good night. But I’ll leave you with this quote.

Happy weekend to all!

#FBF: DECEMBER 30, 2017 – SF CHINATOWN.

Before the year ended, we went on a Chinatown adventure! I reconnected with my friend, Claudia. We met each other years ago at City College of San Francisco (CCSF). It’s been a while since we hung out. I also met a lot of awesome new people during this photowalk. There was Sam, Kristina, Alex, and Sarah.

Here are my photos from that day. πŸ˜€

Enjoy!

2:39am.

The Bay Area was shaking this morning. I was startled because I just fell asleep. I had insomnia due to Beari’s surgery day. She’s already at the vet. I miss her. We get to visit her later! I’m sure she’ll be happy to see familiar faces. ❀

Anyway, it was a 4.4 magnitude which started in Berkeley, CA. Everyone was updating via Twitter or Facebook. It’s a wake up call! They’ve been telling everyone to be prepared. Emergency kits are super important during an event of a natural disaster.

I was quite young in 1989, but I have fragments of the Loma Prieta earthquake stored in my memory. Faint, but still so frightening.

Be prepared! That’s the point I want to drive home.

Back to sleep I go. Happy Thursday! And expect a few entries later on today. #tbt

Edit:

No surgery for Beari today. Had to take care of labs. We’ll know the results tomorrow. She’s just happy to be home and is in good spirits. ❀️ She’s currently napping on the futon.

Here I am at Dolores Park. I was 22. I had to help my cousin out with a photo project for his class. It was pretty fun. I remember doing a bunch of silly poses & jumping! My fave. πŸ™‚

I still have that All-Star Game jersey in my closet. Oh baseball, how I miss thee. Just waiting for spring. Come back soon!!!

I have so much to be thankful for this year, including the hardships. There’s a silver lining for everything, right? Hoping for the best. Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.

I stand in solidarity with the indigenous peoples of America.Β

Good night.
