What happened this week?
A short week for me! The family and I went to Las Vegas for a mini vacay. It was a great time! I also attended a work gala + slept in a lot. Sunday was a recovery day & watching The Oscars. 🙂

Monday. What can I say? I really missed the weekend, but time to start a new week! My commute wasn’t too bad. I was hungry though. Spotted the JapaCurry truck! They always make me happy. Another Meatless Monday for me. I ordered the pumpkin croquette. 🙂

Bought a cup of tea before work. I used to be one of the baristas. I found out a week ago that the coffee cart would be closing.

I decided to take an Uber to work. I was feeling quite sleepy. This was a thoughtful sign. 😉

Work went well! I received a few texts about dinner. I rushed over, but I got caught up in traffic. Womp.

We really wanted to try the spaghetti spot, but the staff was terrible. Customer service was nonexistent. Maybe it’s because we were POC, but we decided to go elsewhere. The unprofessionalism was unreal. SO BYE!
We decided to go to Seokyo, a new Asian fusion spot. YAY!
We caught happy hour too, so that was cool.

Ordered this m&m cookie dough milkshake. It was so good!!
Happy faces! 😀 And it was cold, but we were troupers.

The wait wasn’t long, but I was overwhelmed. We ordered lettuce wraps & calamari & then our entrees. TOO MUCH FOOD. Everything was great though.
I’ll post a separate Vegas entry. Too many pictures to sort.

Back to the hotel. Everything smelled pleasant. Couldn’t even smell the cigarettes. This floral scent lingered.
After a few hours of sleep, it was time to eat. Again. It’s 1:19pm.
I had a lot of breakfast food: scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc.
Off to the Fashion Show Mall.
We looked around. I didn’t find anything.
Decided to get a drink at the Sugar Factory. It was called the white gummi.
I don’t have a picture of it on my phone. 😦
Back on the strip for Shake Shack! Got my usual order. A shackburger & a strawberry milkshake.
Off to play more games at Caesars Palace.
I had a bit of luck on the slots.
We freshened up and then got ready for momofuku. The food was amazing!!
It was a great dinner. We bought some milk bar cookies too. Day was made!!!
We went back to our hotel room to recover. We all fell asleep. LOL.
