Spontaneous hangouts, self-care, and enjoying what’s left of the nice weather. It’s been warm, but also chilly during the day + nights.

It’s a lovely Monday! On my way to work.

It’s meatless Monday! I decided to get an avocado sandwich for lunch + chips.

Work went well! A few of us decided to get some wine afterwards. It was a lot of fun! I’m glad I joined them.
I decided on a glass of rose. I like my wines on the sweeter side. 🙂

Afterwards, we decided to get dinner. It was so hard to not eat meat, but I practiced self-control. YAY!
We walked around Polk Street. I heard this is a good place. I’ll check it out next time.

I knocked out. It was the wine, but I’m feeling energized.
Off to work.
It was pretty cold. I wore enough layers, but I still felt cold.

I got what I needed and went home.

On my way to brunch. I decided on Mama’s on Washington Square. I’ve never been!
Susan was already in line. The wait was another hour.

Brunch. Huevos rancheros, french toast sampler, and the Monte Cristo! Everything was amazing. I shall return!!

I slept in. I ended up making an omelette for brunch.
I had the last piece of my Monte Cristo from Friday.
I took many naps. The tea from Saturday kept me up. I also watched Queer Eye on Netflix. The team is so wonderful! ❤
It’s been so cold lately, but I mustered up the courage to go for my walk.
