Day 84.

The week is flying. I got up early. I’m training myself to wake up at a reasonable time again. Discipline! Woke up at 9am. Played some Animal Crossing. Maintaining my island so my rating remains the same or it goes up! So far I’m doing well.

Had breakfast with my sisters as we watched random music videos from when we were growing up. We watched Play with Chris Trousdale, A*Teens, Jump 5, and The Spice Girls. So many memories. ❤️ Definitely a throwback Thursday.

Then we watched My Neighbor Totoro together. I love the soundtrack! It’s beautiful.

Groceries were delivered today too. Yay! So many fruits, veggies, and cereal. 🙂 I took a much needed nap after the movie & putting stuff away.

I practiced my uke after dinner. I almost have the song down. I’m gaining more confidence each day. I also finished exercising. My goal this month is to exercise daily. I believe in myself!

Now I’m watching the news. Might watch another movie tonight. We’ll see.

Day 83.

It was another warm day in the city. I woke up at a decent time, but decided to nap after playing Animal Crossing.

I washed dishes. I don’t like having dishes in the sink whether it’s during the day or overnight. So that allowed me to be productive.

Played with the dogs before I had to pay a bill. They’re so silly.

Watched Gordon Ramsay’s show on Hulu. The restaurant makeover one. I always look forward to the final results. The episode we watched was of a restaurant in Hermosa Beach, CA. Hope they’re still doing well.

Helped make dinner – spinach & cheese ravioli with garlic bread. After that, I practiced some of my uke. I’m getting better at chord transitions.

I exercised after dinner. Yoga and my new ab roller! I’m staying consistent. I miss junk food, but I need to lead a healthier lifestyle. I need to improve my sleeping habits too.

Day 79.

I watched My Neighbor Totoro before bed. I liked it! I must watch Hayao Miyazaki’s other films. Totoro is so cute!!

Today was rough. My stomach issues from yesterday carried over. 😔 I slept some of it off, but my stomach started hurting later on in the day. I ate a little bit, but it kinda made it worse.

I played Animal Crossing as soon as I woke up. My island rating went up since our new villager moved in. And the store will be renovated so no shopping for a day or two.

I practiced yoga again today. It’s only a 30 minute session, but it’s helping me with my flexibility, breathing, and meditating. I’ve been quite anxious as of late so I have an outlet to release. I’m also restarting my weight loss journey. I can!

Unsolved Mysteries has been on loop at home. So many old episodes that I remember but also a lot of new ones.

Hoping to sleep early tonight. We’ll see. I want to practice my uke too.

Day 67.

Animal Crossing rules! I stayed up to play at 5am. That’s when the day resets. I decided to make an Instagram dedicated to my island. I want to chronicle my progress. 🙂 I’m so excited to post.

I washed dishes, swept the front, and helped with the compost. I made some decent progress today. I had my mask on too. It’s important! 😷

I took a nap from 6:30pm-9pm. I didn’t have the best night’s sleep. I felt a bit refreshed.

I had Wingstop leftovers for dinner. Garlic Parmesan and lemon pepper are my fave flavors! I also had a side of veggies. Made myself an ice cream sandwich: chocolate chip cookies & birthday cake ice cream from C.R.E.A.M. So good! 😋

Tonight I had a good cry. It stems from my own insecurities. I try to be positive despite my personal circumstances but I hate when people doubt me. I dislike the discouraging thoughts. I wish more people would be encouraging. Encouragement goes a long way. Sending good messages will help me feel better. It’s healthy. I’ve also dealt with anxiety. Doing my very best with this life. I believe in myself! 💜 That’s all that matters.

Planning to practice the uke in a bit, exercise, and play Animal Crossing again.

Day 23.

I slept a lot. That doesn’t change. Lol. But I did switch things up today. I decided to practice some yoga. I haven’t done it in months so the first session after a while is always the hardest. Proud to say I survived! I had to slow down in the middle of my practice, but I was able to complete the 30 minutes! I also did some more stretching and my core exercises. Progress. ☺️💪🏼

Watched another episode of Kim’s Convenience. It’s so funny! Watched The Social Network before bed too. It gave me a lot of new insight. My mind was blown. Trust is at the center of everything. You don’t have that, you have nothing.

I’m glad I’ve been blogging since the shelter in place. I feel like I’m growing throughout this process. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s all about perspective. I’m very blessed and fortunate. Sometimes I don’t always see that. I can be stubborn. I’m thankful for my family even when we don’t always see eye to eye. It’s all about communication and understanding. Patience most definitely too.

I’d like to finally watch Onward tonight. I hear it’s a good movie.
