Today marks the 25th Anniversary of Selena Quintanilla-Perez’s untimely passing. Growing up we went to the local taqueria with the family. Her songs were always playing on the jukebox. That’s my earliest memory of her. Bianca and I were obsessed with her music. We still are to this day. So much talent, beauty, and grace. Gone too soon. RIP Selena. 💜
RIP Nip. Gone, but never forgotten. I’ve listened to both artists simultaneously today. Thank you for sharing your artistry with the world.

I’ve been so tired today. I slept a lot again. I did get the chance to watch Selena Live! The Last Concert on YouTube. So much stage presence.
I finished the Bridget Jones series. Loved the films. I want to read the books. I’m now watching Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. It’s pretty good.
My new shampoo and conditioner were delivered too. Excited to try it. That was my Tuesday.

I slept the day away. I was listening to music in between naps. I’ve been pretty run down. I’m allowing my body to rest. I’m on social media a few hours a day. Trying to disconnect as much as I can.
I’m in the middle of Bridget Jones’s Baby. I like it so far. Planning to finish it before I sleep tonight.
I also listened to Ariana Grande’s first album Yours Truly on vinyl. Finally! I’ve been waiting since I returned from London in January. I kept putting it off because of work and whatnot. Sounds amazing! 🙂

I love her so much that I decided to see her again during the final leg of this tour. I can’t believe it 😭
Ariana’s music has helped me through a lot. Her range is incredible and she’s amazing to watch live! Her songs just give me all the feels. When she first started out, I was on the fence about her. All I knew was that she was on Nickelodeon.
If you’ve never listened to her music, I say give it a go. 2013 was the year I became a fan.
