It was a week of celebrations! π The usual work week of course, yoga + reorganizing. It was quite cold too.
I also made lemon bars! I’ve been talking about making it since last Fall. π
Here’s my week.

Another manic Monday. Slept in, showered, and got ready for the day. Beari doesn’t care too much. π
Damp hair and music.
Thankful for this view.
Went for a walk after work. I love seeing the Bay Bridge!
The sun has set.
Uberpool home. My driver was super cool!
Ended the night with a few episodes of Sister, Sister. This was the cheerleading episode! π
I hung out with the dogs and went to sleep. A busy, but fulfilling Monday.

Yoga day. I’m going to start practicing again.
Put on my contacts. It’s been a while.
Hopped on the cable car. I was running a little late.
I hung out at the park and placed an order for pizza. I had plenty of time to have lunch.
Margherita!! π
Work went well. I caught some of the basketball games. The students were victorious!
YOGA! I got to attend with Taylor. We were both super excited.
So peaceful.
Selfie! Photo credit: Taylor.
Class was all about breathing. Perfect timing for us!
Hundreds of folks show up. Always a good time.
I needed to see this again. β€
Yoga was great! I will return, but I definitely must work on my balance.

Heading downtown. Happy Hump Day!!
Put on the jams. Little Mix! π
It’s quite gloomy.
I had to get lunch. I decided on a banh mi.
Grilled chicken! Always good.
I ran into a familiar face before work. Shelton? I think she said Sheldon.
She gave me a lot of helpful career advice. It was wonderful catching up!
The rain is almost here.
We stayed indoors. It rained quite a bit. Restless students on rainy days. I remember feeling that way too.
Downtown adventure. Had to find a birthday present for Mom. Met up with Loretta.
The lanterns are out for Chinese New Year.
So we found a lot of good stuff. We were excited to gift wrap it!

What a beautiful day. Happy Birthday, Mom! β€
Grey skies. A chance of rain.
I took a walk before work. Love my docs.
GREYYY.
Selfie!
Blue skies in the other direction.
I love admiring the buildings in the city.
The rain arrives.
Beautiful Grace.
I had to get home right away for Mom’s birthday dinner. I got to unwind for a bit.
Heading over to dinner. Our uber was super roomy! Loved it.
Me, Mom, and Bianca.
Group photo before digging in. The restaurant was wonderful!
MY STEAK WAS SO GOOD!
We sang Happy Birthday and here’s Mom making her birthday wish!
I recommend this spot! Definitely a touristy vibe, but everything was great.
We had cake and two fruit tarts waiting for us at home. So much sugar! But I don’t mind. π

I finally opened my Lush package. I ordered Once Upon A Time. It’s a seasonal item. Smells like apples + hints of citrus.
I stayed home all day with the dogs. We all needed a nap.
2.5 hours later, we woke up.
Coco was perky! She wanted to eat dinner already.
Went for my walk. I’ve been doing well with my walking goals.
I decided to do the stairs. Lots and lots of stairs. But the view is worth it!
Winner! I’m always proud of myself when small things are accomplished.
Time to get home. I walked this same path as a little girl.
My reward was a slice of fruit tart. My favorite things to eat.

Sleeping in with Beari.
Made some breakfast. Cheese toast, avocado, and bacon pieces.
Had to run to Whole Foods to get some ingredients for lemon bars. Finally going to bake ’em!
A lovely day in SF!
Stopped by this shop to find something for Mom. We found a St. Michael icon! (She loved it.)
Finally got to Whole Foods. Gathered all of our ingredients. Picked up ice cream too!!
It took Loretta and I about 1.5 hours to prep and bake. The lemon bar recipe we used was Ina Garten’s.
It turned out really well! 20 squares in total.
We stayed up to watch SNL. Will Ferrell was the host. Always a laugh when he makes an appearance.
That was my Saturday.
Sunday, January 28, 2018
I slept for most of the day. I was tired from all of the Saturday festivities. I was a bit sore, but I decided to go for my walk.
Went for the stairs again. Success!
Making my way down. I didn’t stretch enough that I started cramping up at this point. It hurt a bit, but I recovered.
Thank you for the challenge.
And that was my week.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope everyone is well! π
