I got to spend time with my Lola (grandma) during the MLK, Jr. holiday. It was out of the blue, but I always have time for the family!
This week also consisted of the usual work week, my dentist appointment, and watching lots of television.
Enjoy!

Walking around at Costco.
Lola’s been looking for a good jacket. We haven’t found the keeper yet. She wants something quite warm and fashionable.
Fun fact: I was super clingy to her when I was growing up. I used to cry all the time whenever she flew to the Philippines. Lola Mila is a rockstar! She baked, cooked, and cleaned after us. I am so, so grateful for her. I can’t put it into words. LOVE YOU, LOLA!!
Lola wanted to see the suitcases and looked at the jacket selection. No winners.
Mini photo shoot at the food court. She doesn’t know I’m photographing her. Perfection. ❤
It was nice to talk about everything with her and Dad. And that’s what I’ve realized as I’ve gotten older. Cherish every moment with your loved ones.
After Costco, we decided to get dinner at our usual Chinese spot.
Ready to go! We were all hungry at this point.
We’re here! Everything was delicious. That’s tofu on the left. Sadly, I couldn’t consume any of the seafood. It’s everywhere!!
My plate!
See you again soon.
Picked up a banana cream pie for the road. Love you, Nation’s.
After all of that fun, I went for a walk with the twin. I needed some more steps.

I didn’t sleep very well. Insomnia struck again! I took a shower and took an uberpool to work. I was the last one to be dropped off, but the driver needed to get gas. That’s a first for me! He was driving a Jeep. The culprit. Haha. Got to work safely!
We spotted this helicopter flying overhead. Not sure what was happening, but the boys got excited.
Work went well.
Treated myself to a decaf vanilla latte with almond milk, a birthday cake pop, and a mini vanilla scone. 🙂
Wore this flashing light pin. Had to complete my walking goals for the day. Done!!

It was a very busy day! I can’t remember much of it to be honest. Today would have been our grandmother’s 95th birthday. We miss her every day. I wrote about her a few days ago. Feel free to check that out.
Smashing my exercise goals. Whee!
Hung out with Coco darling before I slept.
I WAS LOOKING AT KYLO REN PICS BEFORE BED. OMG!!! 😛

Uber rides with Mom. It was drizzling. And then showering.
Drip drop.
Last stop.
Rubio’s for lunch. Always a party.
Steak tacos. My fave!
Drumm.
Financial District. Hello, Transamerica!
The bus life.
And we’re off!
We stayed indoors for work. Yay for movies on rainy days!
Pretty exhausted. Time to get home!

To the dentist we go! I’m not so scared anymore. I was still sleepy.
No cavities! Just gotta floss diligently. 😛
After three hours, I’m free! 🙂
Panda bowl for lunch: orange chicken & fried rice.
Had to take care of errands and then head home.
But to my surprise, I had to cover a shift at work. A few folks were out sick. I’m always down to help.
Another day of ride sharing. It’s nice when people aren’t itching to talk about anything. Haha.
SF film history! This block was featured in Bullitt. Yeah, Steve McQueen! My sisters told me all about it when we watched the movie together. The famous chase scene is very cool.
Work was quite busy, but we got through it!! Love the team. 😀
Heading home. TGIF!
Couch mode was activated. I really did just lounge around.

Take out for lunch! Thai cuisine is our go to. Asian food is awesome!
Chicken satay lunch special.
I did have plans for myself to go out, but I was just too tired. Being a lupus patient has its ups and downs, but I conserve my energy. I pick and choose my battles. I needed the rest, so I stayed home.
I watched a few movies with the sisters. The Next Karate Kid and Pocahontas. Disney always gets me.
I went for another walk. I’m so proud of myself! 🙂

Coco decided to hang with me! Always a good time with her. We were both cold.
That’s my engineer print in the back. I’ll feature the full image soon.
I went for my daily walk. It was a very cold day.
Walked by the park. I really wanted to play basketball.
❤
I watched the AFC and NFC Championships. I was going for Jacksonville. That didn’t happen. And then for the NFC game, I wanted Minnesota, but Philadelphia prevailed. Should be a good Super Bowl. Will it be the Patriots again? Possibly. But I’m always for the underdog. Go Philly! 😀
I took a nap. Yay!
Halal guys for dinner. So good! I need to visit New York already.
I spent the rest of my night watching ESPN. SPORTS!!!
Hope you enjoyed my week and that this new week is treating you well.
Take care!
