This week was full of family get togethers! I love catching up with relatives. It was also a time of reflection.
There was coffee crunch cake, Filipino breakfast, and so much more! GREAT TIMES! Wonderful memories.
To the pictures. Enjoy!
*I’ve started using Flickr again to upload files. I’ve noticed the picture quality isn’t as good as before (why?!), especially when I share a 4×6 photo. Apologies for this! Thanks!*

Anxiety set in the night before. I decided to sign up for my first sub shift. I didn’t sleep very well. My phone kept me up and I just read the news via Twitter. I told myself to breathe and that everything will work out. (It did.) The 4th grade teacher was super nice, helpful, and patient with me. I’m hoping to take on more sub opportunities when it’s available. Gotta keep learning and growing.
After my very busy day, I decided to grab a drink with Angela and Taylor. Taylor’s brother Zach stopped by too. We needed to decompress. It was my first time at bacchus kirk. It’s a cool bar!
Really digging the red.
It started to rain as soon as we parted ways. I had to walk up this steep hill. Cardio! π
Icky weather.
I found a dry spot. Yay!
On the way home.
I hung out with the dogs when I got back. They’re so silly. β€
We finally got to have ice cream cake. Happy Birthday again, bro!!
Grasshopper pie!! π
And that was my Monday. Long, but very eventful!

I’ve got my rain gear on. It was another rainy day! On my way to work.
Work went well. I was just really tired from the day before. Still in recovery mode.
I need to check this store out soon!
Coco loves blankets. She stayed on my bed for a bit.
What a star! β€

Blue skies. Hurrah!!
I love the clouds.
Another day at bacchus kirk. Got my usual: Stella.
We decided to move the get together. We chose Angela’s place.
Angela stocked up on hummus, pirate’s booty, crackers, and more beverages!
The honey comb with the cheese was AMAZING!! It’s a great combo.
Finally got to meet Cali. She’s so sweet!
Selfie! π
Happy Pi Day!!!
It was a wonderful hang out. I shared a Lyft with Susan. Got home at a decent time.
I had to close my rings, so I went for a quick walk.
What a display! Love it.

Waiting for my train. Another rainy day. I’m over it. Lol.
My docs.
After volunteering, I had to catch the bus. It was sprinkling a bit.
BLTA for lunch. I had about thirty minutes before my appointment.
Waiting on the doc. She’s so nice! Just a follow up.
Pit stop at Japantown. We were able to reserve a coffee crunch cake. Thanks, Loretta! π
Canadian relatives were in town. I was so excited to see them again. It’s been too long!!
Tito Teody and Tita Beth! We all wanted to say hello to him.
Hello!! He stayed behind with our cousins. Hoping to be a complete family next year.
Josh, Tita Beth, and Bianca. Indian and Filipino food for dinner.
Coffee crunch cake. SF original! We really wanted them to try it.
Super happy to cut the cake. It’s one of our favorites!!
The aftermath. I was so happy because everyone liked it! π

One year since Laki went away. We decided to go to morning mass for him.
Always loved and remembered.
Mass was calming and peaceful. FOR LAKI.
Said a little prayer here.
Overcast skies.
This car was so cool!
It started to rain again. I forgot to bring an umbrella.
Making our way to the clinic. Second iron infusion. Here we go!
They had this cool vein locator. I was in awe! It was so awesome to look at my arm. Haha.
Loretta and I. Smiling through the fatigue. I’m a warrior!!!
I was surprised to see this. So retro.
My appointment was quick. And nurse Bev was super nice! Thank you for being so great.
Walked to Japantown for lunch.
We decided on udon + donburi.
Glossier! π
Shopping complete. Time to head home!
Another visit with relatives. Hi, Tink!! Dropped off gifts.
Such a model. She took a nap after this.
I did too once I got home. It was a busy, but fulfilling day.
I woke up to March Madness. I was in shock!!!
Virginia was eliminated by a #16 seed. OMGGG. There goes my bracket.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Off to get breakfast. Tita Beth and Tita Vivian were already cooking once we got there.
Tita Beth!
Bianca and Lola Mila. We asked how she was doing.
Back in the kitchen. Breakfast is almost ready!
HEARTS! A very Filipino breakfast. Longanisa, scrambled eggs, spam, and fried rice. There’s also tuyo, salty fish coated with sugar.
My plate! I also added chicken sisig to it afterwards. I wanted a little bit of everything.
Lola Mila and Bianca. Everyone joined us afterwards. They wanted us to eat first.
Lola Mila and Josh, her great grandson. He was so sweet.
The relatives were finalizing luggage and making sure everything was packed.
Me, Lola Mila, and Bianca. A selfie before we went home.
We took lots of pictures before they departed for the airport.
We hope to see them again soon.
Once we got home, I took a long nap. The last few days wore me down.
After my nap, we ran errands.
No rain. Hooray!
What a great Saturday!!

Full day of relaxation. I slept in. I don’t think I set an alarm.
I decided to be healthy so I made bananas & cream oatmeal with peanut butter. π
Took a walk. I needed some fresh air. I also needed steps. Needed to hit 10k.
Popeye’s for dinner + March Madness.
It was a fulfilling week. LOVED IT!!
I hope you enjoyed it too. Take care!
