MY WEEK IN PHOTOS: OCTOBER 8-14, 2018.

What went on this week? It was a typical week, but I did catch a nasty cold. That threw me off. I watched the NLCS, attended a school function, an early birthday dinner for Lala at House of Prime Rib, a memorial benefit for our cousin Maria, and catching up with the doggies.

Time flies! I’ve been doing this weekly blog thing for a year now. I’m planning on continuing. I’m hoping to dedicate a single day to complete my entries moving forward. I’m pretty behind right now. There is so much going on beyond my pictures. This is just a small part of my life. This too shall pass.

To the pictures!

Hi Beari! I had the day off. This was the only picture I took. I was pretty disconnected.

The rest of my day was spent watching TV, napping, and giving Coco a bath.

HAPPY INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAY!!!

Another day off! School holidays are thee best. Late start for Beari and I.

In-n-Out for lunch!!! Animal style fries are everything to me. πŸ™‚

Spent the rest of the day with the dogs. Hi Sal! She’s still a bit shy around me. We adopted her in June from the SPCA.

She loves Mom. She follows her everywhere.

Back to work for me. After work views in my ride share!

I wasn’t feeling the greatest. I decided to order soup to soothe my sore throat. It helped.

Hot and sour soup usually does the trick. Yaaasss.

I was a bit congested too. I just wanted to feel better.

Monthly labs. I had to get up on time. Here I am! πŸ˜›

My souvenir. LOL. Phlebotomist was unable to find a vein in my arm. Last resort: my hand.

Panda for lunch. My guilty pleasure. Orange chicken!! πŸ™‚

After work views. Hi Grace!

Downtown adventure! Golden hour. So pretty.

I support the strike! πŸ˜€

Treated myself. It’s my PH anniversary. I’m considered a long time survivor. 11 years strong!! Can’t stop, won’t stop.

My condition can be isolating. It’s a community of loss, but also a community of hope. Until there’s a cure!! ❀ #PHighters

It was a wonderful Thursday. Feeling blessed.

TGIF! WOO.

I liked my outfit that day. It was for the Fall Bash!

After work, I decided to read until everyone else was ready to “pregame.”

Friends had a few drinks. I had water because I was hungry. We also got to watch Game 1 of the NLCS. GO MIL!!! #BEATLA

SF hills. Time to walk up.

We were fashionably late. Everything was great! Food and drinks. Woo.

I also got to chat and meet parents. I’m a little shy, but I did okay. Hehe.

Time to call it a night. Byeee!

On the way home. Passed by Davies Symphony Hall. So cool!

I’m ready for the weekend. #teamsleep

Saturday! Sleeping in is the best. The sunshine woke me up.

Lazy mode activated. Sitting with Coco and Beari. ❀

Chilled out for most of the day. And then we got ready for Loretta’s early birthday dinner!!

Hello, House of Prime Rib! We meet again. πŸ™‚

Dinner!!! So excited to eat.

This is the English Cut. Waooo.

I was so full after this that I couldn’t even go for seconds.

Always a wonderful dining experience!!

Sunday mood with Beari. LOL. Yeah, same.

I got to relax for a bit and then got ready for our cousin’s memorial benefit. Miss you, Marian!!

The celebration took place at Skylark Bar. She worked there for several years.

She’s truly missed. It was great seeing relatives and friends!

It was my first time inside. It’s super cool!

Vegan food for dinner. Celebrating and honoring Maria!
