What went on this week? A few more days spent at WDW, July 4th, flying back to SFO, and catching up on rest and sleep.
Thanks for bearing with me. It’s been a busy few weeks for me and I’m still catching up on entries. I’ll do my best to knock a few entries out.
To the pictures!

Day 2 of WDW. More walking and humidity. Cooling towels are lifesavers!
Lunch at Be Our Guest. Everything was just as wonderful as dinner! π
The grey stuff. Thee best!
The main dining room. Pretty!
I walked around and found the rose! β€
Prince Adam! Just like in the movie.
The study. All the rooms were great!
Second chance to see this. I LOVE IT!
After lunch, we were off to Epcot.
Spaceship Earth! I’ve only seen it on TV. So cool.
Gloomy skies, but still a great day!
Walked around and then found some neat food spots!
Tacos, guacamole, and frozen margaritas. AMAZING!!!
It started to drizzle a bit, but it cleared up. Ponchos were put away.
Had an amazing dinner at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Pictures will be posted in another post. Met a few princesses. So magical!
Spent the rest of the night walking around and rode a few rides.
Thank you, Epcot!!!

We woke up early for Magic Hour! That means we get to the park before anyone else since we’re staying at a park resort. Left our hotel before 7am. Reminded me of my barista days. π
On the Monorail. On our way to Hollywood Studios!
Toy Story Land! Opening weekend pandemonium lives on. Lines were fairly short for rides. Perfect timing.
Everything was so awesome! A+++.
We caught a glimpse of Jessie and Woody. YAY!
First ride of the day: Alien Swirling Saucers. Good times!
Slinky Dog Dash Roller Coaster. This ride surprised me. It wasn’t as intense as other rides I’ve been on, but it still scared me. I don’t like drops. HAHA. For thrill seekers, it’s a great ride. For people like me, not so much. I enjoyed it despite screaming my head off. π
Time to meet my fate. AHH. And I was in the front row with my brother. Oy vey.
After the ride, we needed to eat breakfast.
S’mores sandwiches, tater tots, pop tarts, and water.
We found a good table! It was by a fan. We needed it.
A closer look. OOH.
The food at Disney always tastes 100x better. Why? BC IT’S DISNEY!!! Hehe.
I did a bit of shopping before we waited for the bus. The wait was a while. I needed to lie down and reenergize at the hotel.
It started to storm! So glad we were inside. We heard the thunder, saw the lightning, and the downpour. That allowed me to rest for a bit. I needed a breather.
Once it cleared, we were off to the Animal Kingdom!
The Tree of Life! So cool!!!
We had a pro photographer take our pictures. Awesome!
I didn’t go on any rides. I just walked around and had snacks. Pretzel and cheese dip FTW!!
Festival of The Lion King! It was the last show of the day. So glad we caught it.
We went on a safari before heading back to the Magic Kingdom. Loved seeing the animals. It was already nightfall, so we couldn’t see them too clearly. We could definitely hear them.
β€
I did some more souvenir shopping before leaving for the hotel.

Chip! Loved seeing this in the lobby. Had to pack up a few things so I wouldn’t feel rushed in the morning before check out.
All packed up. You’ve been wonderful WDW!
You’ve been something. We’ll see you again soon. β€
We decided to have lunch at Disney Springs before heading to the airport.
Happy 4th of July!!! π
Fried chicken at Homecoming! It was amazing. π
Snow White and Dopey made out of Legos. WOW!
Cinderella’s carriage. We went to look for more souvenirs. Lots of walking.
Dropped in at the Under Armour store. HI STEPH! π
Afterwards, we returned to the hotel to grab our belongings and head to the airport.
Farewell, Grand Floridian! Thank you for being our home away from home. See you again!
In our taxi. Our driver had a lot of stories to share.
Airport security screening took a while. We made it in time, but man. So much going on.
Up in the air. About a 5 hour flight heading back home.
Darkness for a few minutes. I tried to nap, but that didn’t happen. I watched A Wrinkle In Time. LOVED IT!
WE’RE BACK!!!
Dropped in before leaving the airport. So nice to be home!!! Love their stuff.

The only I photo I took from this day. Hi Coco! β€ I was in recovery mode. I slept in, watched some TV, napped, and I think I watched some Disney movies. WDW withdrawals. Oh gosh.

Stayed up with Beari. I went to sleep pretty late. Adjusting with the time change. It’s real! Lol.
Childhood memories here. Unfortunately, a fire shut the location down.
I ventured around the neighborhood to look at some venues for a bridal shower.
Nice spot! I would consider it for the future. The people were super nice too.
What a nice day! I still wore layers though. Hehe.
Pizza for lunch. YES!
Watching the Giants pregame show. HI MIKE! Former Giants catcher. HE’S AWESOME!!! Always nice to see him back in the bay. Unfortunately he was let go by the Cards a few weeks ago.

Sleeping Beari. Haha. The only picture from that day.
I was still catching up on rest.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BREA!!! β€
